Jay Hobbs is a character role-played by a2guapo.
General Information[]
Jay Hobbs is a full member of the Gulag Gang. He is a criminal within the city of Los Santos, and can often be found committing crime, varying from petty to high level. If not committing crime, Jay can usually be found wagering people in the Demon's Den Arcade. He is the adoptive son of Appie Turk, and has a half-brother, Prod Ween.
Backstory[]
Jay proclaims that he was a member of the Los Santos Crips. He apparently left his life as a Crip, and moved to Los Santos with his half-brothers, Prod Ween and Jason Ween. Together, the trio began exploring their new life in Los Santos. Jay came in contact with criminals like Racoon and Stone, who showed him around the city. He also had a brief association with Royal Mafia leader, Sidwig. Soon after their arrival in the city, Jason Ween suddenly vanished, reducing the trio to a duo, with Jay and Prod. Jay and Prod would continue as a criminal duo, but as time passed, Jay began to become frustrated with his brother Prod. The more time Jay spent with him, the more he realized how much of a pain in the ass he was. Jay decided that he had enough of his brother and began looking for new opportunities in the criminal world.
After being alone for a brief period of time, Jay randomly stumbled upon the X-Mart and was immediately met with hostility by the likes of Future and 4Head. After being a hostage of their bank job, Jay became closely acquainted with members of Gulag Gang from that point on and was kept around because they found him amusing. One of the founders of GG, Ming Jingtai, took a particular liking to Jay. Ming insisted that GG keep Jay Hobbs around, as he saw potential in him and wanted him to eventually become a member of the gang.
Personality[]
Jay is known for his boastful personality, claiming to be "the most dangerous man in the city of Los Santos". His ego and irresponsibility can often lead him into hot-water but, despite this, still keeps a friendly demeanor with those who are friendly to him. His goofy personality gives him the label of what most would call a 'bozo' which is supplemented by his very forward mannerisms, which some people perceive as disrespectful or annoying. It is commonly said by people that interact with him that Jay is unable to read a room. Nevertheless, his self-confidence paired with hyperactivity allows him to leave a lasting impression on people. Jay even goes as far as comparing himself to White Rhinos, as they're an endangered species, and Jay believes people like him are a dying breed.

Four days later, Jay's luck ran out. By pure coincidence, both Jay and Chem ended up at Simone Memorial Hospital at the same time. While both of them were being treated for their wounds, Chem recognised Jay due to his voice. After leaving the hospital, Chem alerted the rest of the R.U.S.T. The group arrived at the hospital and waited for Jay to leave, as they had planned on kidnapping him. To make matters worse Jay's brother, Pee Rod, got into a verbal altercation with the R.U.S.T members as they were waiting outside, further agitating them. Pee Rod told Jay that there were some people outside the hospital that might shoot him because he just shit-talked them. Neither Jay or Pee Rod knew that the R.U.S.T members were actually there to kidnap Jay. Pee Rod was able to walk out the hospital as the R.U.S.T members were not interested in him. Jay on the other hand was not so lucky. The R.U.S.T members surrounded him at the main entrance of the hospital and took him at gunpoint. After exiting the hospital, they shot Jay down and took him to grandmas. From there they took him to the 'Grapeseed torture room'. Chem questioned him on who he was and if he was apart of Gulag Gang, as he'd been hanging out with them frequently. Jay gave them very vague answers in response and told the R.U.S.T members, "I'm not that interesting." Chem began going through Jay's phone to find information, and eventually stumbled across Royal Mafia leader Sidwig's phone number. Sidwig had lied to Chem about information regarding Jay, as he was covering for him. Chem was pleased with the new information gathered and called for the carving to begin. R.U.S.T member, Flare, pulled out his Karambit and began crudely, and painfully, carving a scorpion onto Jay's right arm. This was done to give Jay a permanent reminder of who R.U.S.T were. After the traumatic ordeal, they left Jay with only a lockpick, and told him to find his own way back to the city. It was in that moment Jay decided he would seek his revenge on R.U.S.T.
The next day, Jay and Pee Rod got together to hunt for members of R.U.S.T. They decided to drive into the R.U.S.T compound to try and find any stragglers. Coincidentally Chem pulled in and Jay attempted to hold him up. Unfortunately for Jay, Chem had his gun ready on his lap and shot Jay in the face before he could even finish his sentence. Pee Rod started shooting at Chem and they both downed each other. Eventually, members of R.U.S.T pulled into the compound and saw all three peopled downed on the ground. The R.U.S.T members took Chem to grandmas to treat him for his wounds, and then took Jay and Pee Rod to the chicken factory in Paleto. The R.U.S.T members decided to dump both Jay and Pee Rod's bodies in an acid tub. Eight hours later, Jay and Pee Rod were with GG members Ming, Kookie and Ralphie. Jay had told the GG members about what had happened earlier in the day, and that he was seeking revenge on R.U.S.T for what they did to him. They drove past the R.U.S.T compound and saw some activity inside. Jay and Pee Rod impulsively walked up to the gates of the compound and began talking to the R.U.S.T members. Jay wanted to take one of the R.U.S.T members for ransom, so after a brief conversation, Jay and Pee Rod held up one of the members and made him walk outside. As they did this, a shootout ensued. Jay and Pee Rod both went down while the GG members reactively started shooting at the R.U.S.T members from the highway. After the dust had settled, the R.U.S.T members took Jay and Pee Rod's bodies and began driving to grandmas. GG followed them and another small scuffle occurred at grandmas. The police arrived on scene and Ming told the cops that their friends had been kidnapped. After seeing the cops involvement, R.U.S.T decided it would be better to give up the bodies and flee. The GG members went into grandmas after the police began chasing R.U.S.T, and were greeted by Jay and Pee Rod, who thanked the GG boys for saving them. |

- When Jay first arrived in the city, he had a tendency of pointing at everything all the time.
- Jay also had hoes in his shirt and checkered shoes when he first arrived into the city.
- Ming Jingtai claimed Jay as the reason he joined the gang. It is a reason why Jay picked up the Jingtai name.
- Jay has a crudely carved image of a Scorpion on his right arm. This was given to him by R.U.S.T member, La Flare Davis.
- Has a tendency to hit on 99% of girl he interacts with and asks for their number.
- The first ever time he met a GG member was in prison, fighting with Future Cortair. Jay didn't know what GG was at that point.
- Jay has made over $300k as a result of wagering people in the Demon's Den Arcade.
- One of the best arcade warriors to ever be in Nopixel, only being surpassed by 4Head and BD Marcel.
