Description[]
Jay Hobbs is larger and louder than life, a walking storm of arrogance, impulse, and a chaotic presence.
He's known for his boastful personality, claiming to be
"the most dangerous man in the city of Los Santos".
He can often be found getting into intense crime, varying from petty to high level, regularly landing himself in prison after getting into trouble with law enforcement. He's the founder and leader of Fudge and Furious.
Jay has shown interest in joining back the Besties after he experienced how difficult it is to be a leader. He showed remorse and claimed that he gained experience. The gang heard him out in Hood Court, then after some time they had a meeting and agreed that they should give Jay another chance.
Carefree and rebellious, he lives without boundaries, pursuing absolutely anything and everything he wants with almost no regard for consequences. A true unpredictable wildcard.
Appearance[]
Jay has a clean-shaven face, though he previously had a mustache. He has visible scarring marks on the right side of his face from a previous burned injury. His black hair styled in a two-block cut, with short sides. His neck, torso, and left arm inked with tattoos along with small hoop earrings. Often wearing round, black tinted sunglasses.
Personality[]
Jay typically remains friendly and gregarious with others. Always keeping a lighthearted, goofy demeanor. His bold and forward behavior sometimes makes him seem a bit careless, but his charm and willingness keeps others engaged in his antics.
He thrives on the thrill of the unexpected. His impulsiveness often leads him into situations where things can go either way. When things go left, he rolls with the chaos as it comes, chasing the adrenaline of the next journey.
Backstory[]
Prior to moving to Los Santos, Jay was a member of the Crips. He left his life as a Crip, and moved to Los Santos to look for new opportunities in the criminal world. Jay first came in contact with criminals like Racoon and Stone, who showed him around the city.
After being alone for a brief period of time, Jay randomly stumbled upon the X-Mart and met Future and 4Head. After being a hostage of their bank job, Jay became closely acquainted with members of Gulag Gang, who kept him around because they found him amusing. One of the founders of GG, Ming Jingtai, took a particular liking to Jay, and saw the potential in him. Ming insisted that GG keep Jay Hobbs around and eventually he became a full member of the gang.

After Edgar Del Castillo had been struck by the Morgul-Blade, the wound burned away the flesh on his torso, leaving him in a deep coma. Jay became worried for Edgar's wellbeing that Edgar might never wake up again. Heavily considering making a deal with Norman and convincing others to do the same to ensure Edgar survives. After calling Norman, Jay rushed straight to the lighthouse where he made a deal with Norman Bones to guarantee, Edgar’s survival and recovery from the Morgul-Blade’s poison in exchange for "anything and everything" Norman asks for. The next day, Edgar did indeed wake up, though it's uncertain whether the deal was the cause. Edgar and Jay believe the deal was the reason Edgar made it out alive from the coma. They believe that Edgar was in between life-and-death and was pulled out of it. Edgar and Jay are now working with the devil together. |
