James McTavish is a Current Solo-Cadet for the Paleto Bay Sheriff's Office, Badge #643.
He was previously a Corrections Captain for the Department of Corrections, Badge #743.
Background Information[]
Born in Argyll in the Scottish Highlands, James grew up with only his father around after losing his mother when he was young. Growing up alone with just his father made a large impact on his life, but his father was the ideal role model he needed. He was always supported by his Father in most choices he made, Especially with his line of work.
James spent most of his time in high school studying the law and observing overall law enforcement. His main aim when he grew up was to become a police officer, The support he gained from his father was what kept him going and not giving up on his dreams.
After his time at high school, James went on to study Cyber Security and Law at college with the aims of becoming a Digital Forensics Analyst within the police force in Scotland. After multiple years of hard work and overall dedication to his studies, he graduated with the qualifications he needed.
About a year after graduation he got a job as a Junior Analyst for the Police. But it didn't last too long for him, a few weeks after landing his job, his father who was having a long battle with cancer, passed away leaving James with no one around, no family that he knew of. He wanted to move away from home with the chance of keeping the same line of work with him.
His main focus was on Moving over to the U.S. to continue his line of work overseas and hopefully meet new people and make a family of his own. Like any move this was tough for him as he was leaving everything behind, and was struggling financially to begin with.

James McTavish was Hired with the DOC on October 14th 2021 as a Cadet, making it to Solo cadet on October 17th.
McTavish was Promoted to Full CO on October 24th Gaining his Medical Cert on the same day.
McTavish was then Promoted to Senior corrections Officer on November 14th Getting his Full FTO Certification as well as his Rubber Shotgun Certification.
McTavish was Promoted to the rank of Corporal and Given the head of the BRU Certification on November 29th 2021
On December 12th 2021 James McTavish was Promoted to the rank of Sergeant by Correction Captain Connor Stubble For making a strong move for getting a loan out and buying an Explorer which was a sergeant+ only Vehicle for the DoC. McTavish was Granted the role of sergeant for His Hard work in the department as well as his work for the BRU Cert. And also because he Bought the Vehicle.
On August 16th 2023, James McTavish was Re-Hired to the Department of Corrections as a Cadet work back where it all started in hopes of supporting the department in any area it needed.
