Background
Jacob was born in Norway. He never knew his father, and was raised by his mother Hege. They never really had any money to support themselves, which in turn made Jacob an outsider amongst his so-called friends. Because Jacob got frozen out from his circle he ended up being a timid child and teenager, with a very hard time when it comes to trusting others. This has followed him to this day. Most would probably call him very relaxed and quiet, but they just don't know the hardships he's been through.
When Jacob was 16 years old his mother died. Leaving Jacob alone in a worn down home, with no protection or security around him. He was picked up by the system and placed in foster-care. Foster-care didn't mesh well with Jacob, as none of the families that took him in understood him, and tried to force him to be more open and extroverted than he is. On his 18th birthday he was finally allowed by the state to move out of foster-care and go out in the world on his own.
Jacob is now in his thirties, and has taken the biggest leap of his life. He has moved halfway across the world to Los Santos, took night-classes and has become an EMT at the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services. This was the one true job that Jacob wanted, as this is where he feels he can help out others in the same situation that he himself was in only 15 years ago. Here he has found a home. A home with people who has accepted him for who he is, and made some of the best friends of his life in no time at all.

| Adeline, or "Addie" was a cadet in the LS EMS at the same time as Jacob, and this is where they met. Jacob instantly felt drawn towards Addie due to her calm demeanour and sense of humour. In a very rare case, it didn't take long for Jacob to want to be close to Addie, even though he don't really understand why. Having a hard time to trust someone, especially if they're new in his life is usually how things go for Jacob, but Addie quickly turned into one of Jacobs best friends. As their relationship grew she became more and more like a sister for Jacob, and today there's nothing Jacob wouldn't do for her. If he had to go to hell for her safety and well-being, there wouldn't be a moments hesitation. |

| Jacob doesn't know when he first met Cayden, as the days after has been a massive blur. There is no one in the city of Los Santos that can show Jacob a more fun time than the guy who quickly became one of Jacobs best friends. Jacob really likes Cayden, and before his accident which caused his amnesia he saw Cayden as a potential partner. Now, after the accident, he don't really know where Cayden stands in his life, but one thing is certain. He does absolutely not want to lose him. Who knows what the future holds for these two? |

| Jacob met Odessa when she was standing in pillbox looking for a ridealong, as she was interested in his line of work.
Jacob instantly took a liking to Odessa as she seemed eager and interested in everything regarding EMS. After a little while of friendly banter, lessons in 10-codes, they bonded over their mutual interest in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Jacob really likes Odessa, but Jacob being Jacob doesn't understand exactly why, or how. After fumbling about, Jacob and Odessa went on what could be called a pseudo-date on the beach, searching for treasures. For the first time in his life, Jacob felt something he hasn't before. But what is it? Jacob is eager to find out, and explore this newfound friendship(?) |
