Jackson Decker was a Deputy for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, Badge #329.
Background Information[]
Jackson’s dad was an Officer in the Navy, currently retired after 31 years and retired at the rank of Captain.
Jackson’s mom was an ER nurse and is currently doing work as a medical assistant at a VA (Veteran’s Affairs) Hospital.
Jackson moved around a lot, never stayed in one place for more than 3 years at the most. He also spent more time figuring out where he was going and what school to go to at each new place, he moved to than he did making friends.
Jackson went on to go to college and got a BS in Criminal Prosecution with a minor in Criminal Procedure. The day after graduation,
Jackson joined the Navy and instead of going straight into Officer Candidate School, Decker wanted to start at the beginning like everyone else and decided to go straight into boot camp to be Enlisted in the Navy. Decker graduated from boot camp and became an MA or Master-at-arms (Naval equivalent to the Army MP - Military Police). After about 12 years in the Navy, and making contacts with “civilian world” police, Decker decided to not re-enlist and to join a police department.
Jackson applied to several Departments and was accepted into the interview process for majority of the departments he applied to, however he decided to accept an offer from a police department near his latest duty station. After only a few years in the department, Jackson felt that the department wasn’t somewhere he wanted to be long-term.
He then went and looked around for other opportunities and found a department in Los Santos. Jackson then applied for a transfer and was accepted into the LSPD.
