Economy Collapse[]
Things were going well, until they weren’t.
The collapse saw Iona Welles losing everything, giving everything she had to the club she was a part of with and in encouragement by her ex-husband.
Never blooded out due to a misunderstanding between club members and a structure that was crumbling internally, Iona fled the city around the time of leaving the club and returned two years later with high hopes that she'd been completely forgotten.
Backstory[]
Iona Welles was technically created in a lab, and thus claims to have no parents though an upper class family did raise her in hopes of a claim to fame under her creation. She was raised to understand that her only purpose was to serve the means of her family and the progression of science under their name. However, Iona's former girlfriend, a horse trainer named Fawkes, showed Iona a different side of things in her early twenties, and inevitably lead to Iona's break away from her family altogether.
Iona's mother was the cause of the scar on her eye, as well as the loss of Iona's right arm ; making her, in her mother's opinion, completely unmarriable and only useful as a lab rat.
There was routine to the things they had Iona do, and she complied until Fawkes mysteriously vanished ; Iona's only clue being that she'd once mentioned leaving with her to Los Santos in their few years together.
Going off of this alone, and using the bravery she'd found through Fawkes, Iona ran away from her family island, boarding a cargo ship that she leapt from to wash up on the shores of Los Santos and be found by EMS.
Thus beginning her life there ; as well as solidifying her fear of drowning.

- Iona loves nature and prefers to be in it though she admits the city's hustle and bustle sometimes has it's perks.
- She has had far too many near death experiences brought on by a combination of factors though most of which are due to her being a klutz.

- Iona has a weird ability to get close to a variety of wild animals.

- Iona believes tragedies and high highs come in threes ; this was proven inaccurate after she had over six bad falls from terrifying heights in the span of a few months.
- Iona loves flying ; she mentions missing her pilot's license frequently.
- Iona has lost a few people over the years and talks about them frequently, visiting their favorite locations regularly to pay respects.
