General Description[]

Herbie Dickinson was a magician's assistant, tragically murdered by his magician, Luna "Sakura" Purpose.

Backstory[]

Herbie Dickinson was always the quiet kid. Growing up in a small, sleepy town, he spent most of his days reading books about magic, dreaming of being on stage one day. Shy and reserved, Herbie never quite fit in, but he found comfort in the world of illusions and tricks. On his 18th birthday, with little more than a suitcase and a heart full of hope, he left his hometown and set out for the bustling city of Los Santos, determined to make something of himself. Upon arriving, the city overwhelmed him, but it was also full of opportunities.

It was there he met Luna "Sakura" Purpose, a mysterious and captivating performer with a flair for the dramatic. Luna was the star of the Cypress Talent Show, and when she saw Herbie's talent for magic tricks, she saw potential in the awkward young boy. Offering him his first job as her Magician Assistant, Herbie jumped at the chance, believing this was his break. The rehearsals were fun, and Luna treated him kindly. She'd hypnotize him to perform silly dances and tricks, making the audience laugh. Herbie felt alive on that stage, for once part of something bigger. He admired Luna.

But Luna had a darker side, one Herbie couldn't see behind her bright, captivating persona. On the night of the final performance, things took a chilling turn. During the closing act, Luna, in a trance of her own making, went beyond the rehearsed script. Before Herbie could react, she plunged a knife into his back-literally and figuratively. The crowd gasped, but it was too late. Herbie's body collapsed on stage, lifeless. What no one knew was that this act wasn't part of the show-it was Luna's plan all along. Under the cover of night, Herbie's body was dumped in the ocean, where the water swallowed him whole, his dreams sinking with him into the deep abyss. In the silence of the ocean, Herbie found eternal rest, his bright spark snuffed out too soon. Though his life ended in tragedy, his memory lingers—a cautionary tale in the city of Los Santos, where not every dream leads to stardom, and some stories end with a final, fatal twist.
