He was formerly a Towing Trainee for Angelic Towing.

Background Information[]
Johnson is a 45year old black male from Liberty City. He grew up with both his parents and had a very good childhood. His father was very strict on him as a child, always teaching him that a man is supposed to be head of the household and always supposed to take responsibility for the family. His mother, Sheila, was a sweet loving person who always taught Greg to show sympathy to those who are lost. He always had good grades and no problems in school. He spent most of his childhood working with his father at home on the farm.
At a young age, he knew how to milk cows, slaughter pigs, and grow corn in the fields. He didn't have much time to spend with the other kids in his community as his father always made sure he came straight home and worked on the farm. Greg didn't mind spending most of his time with his family because he always got along with his parents and did what they told him to do. Greg was unlike most kids growing up, he had an early sense for responsibility, most would say he got it from his father for always preaching to him that you can walk a thirsty horse to a lake but you cannot teach it to drink the water. As Greg grew older and the years went by he began to listen to the radio while working out on the farm and began to teach himself how to dance to music. Greg's favorite group was The Temptations and his favorite song by them was "Ain't Too Proud to Beg." You see Gregory in his spare while his father would wander off with the cows, would sing out loud that very tune and begin to dance just a little. That is what Greg did in his early teenage years.
Upon graduating from high school at the age of 17, Greg enlisted into the U.S Army. His job was infantry and Greg had to overcome a lot of his fears such as drowning and having to take a person's life while being in service. Basic training was a very hard challenge for Greg and it was not easy at all for him. Even though Greg had spent most of his time working in the field with his father, the physical training the military put Greg through almost broke him. Many nights Greg cried himself to sleep due to the intense training the military was putting him through, at one point he almost quit, that is until he remembered that his father told him to never quit on anything because you never know what is on the other side of that goal. Greg put forth his best effort and did not quit even when it came swimming in a 30ft deep pool. At times Greg felt as if he was going to quit but he believed in himself and told himself that he did not come this far to turn around now. The thing that pushed Greg the most was looking his father in the eyes and explaining to him that he quit. Greg snapped himself into gear and began to push through all of the training.
Upon graduating basic training and AIT, Greg was deployed to IRAQ and his mission was to save a group of people at a small village north of his base. The night before the mission Greg's battle buddies started doing morphine to get high and asked Greg to join but Greg declined and told the men to stay focused on the mission. The morning of the mission comes and Greg's battles are still hung over from the drugs and the enemy ends up attacking their home base. A 105mm explosive was sent in the air of Greg's base and blew it up. At the same time of the explosion enemy forces began to invade Greg's base shooting and killing soldiers. Greg tried to get his battle buddies to safety but the majority of them were too high off the drugs to even move. Greg went into a shell shock mode where his ears began to ring and he couldn't move, thus he suffered a gunshot wound and from that shot Greg snapped out of his shell shock mode and began to run for cover. The enemy forces began to move closer to Greg's location killing many of the people he deployed with. Greg found a foxhole and buried himself inside and began to scream and cry for help. As the enemy forces moved closer and closer to Greg's location, a huge mortar round blew up in the middle of the enemy forces. A quick reaction team came in just in time to save what was left of Greg's base. After the reaction team cleared all of the enemies out of the area, only Greg was left standing from his base. The men grabbed Greg out of the foxhole and took him to safety. From that day on Greg was never the same, he had constant nightmares about the screams and explosions he had heard. Greg was ultimately upset and couldn't understand why his battle buddies decided to get high the day before an attack and swore to himself that he would always do the right thing and never let anything distract him from his missions in life. Greg stayed in the army for another 20 years and was medically put as a Sergeant Major which is the highest rank in the enlisted corp. Doctors stated that Greg had been through too much trauma with his military experience of war. They stated greg had a mild case of PTSD, but greg tried his hardest to fight to stay in the service because he felt like he would not amount to anything as a civilian and all that he knows is being a soldier. His higher ups made the decision to release Greg from his active-duty contract. Once Greg was released from the army, he flew back to Liberty City and tried becoming a police officer for the LCPD.
Since Greg had military experience, he was quickly hired and rushed through training because of his leadership skills. Greg showed perfect marksmanship qualifying at the top of his class. When it came down to his physical readiness, he passed the test for a man of his age and even aced the written exam for officers with 98 score. Greg also met a guy named James Francis who reminded him of himself. James and Greg did everything in the police academy together, if Greg overslept James would wake him up and if James didn't have money for food Greg would always look out for him. They love to compete against each other in drill ceremonies and would always love to see which one could do more pushups than the other. Greg and James both successfully passed and graduated from the police academy but James was sent to Los Venturas MRPD and greg was stationed at the 75th LCPD. Greg was thrilled he was back and uniform, but he didn't realize the times have changed since he has been in the civilian world. Greg doesn't know what an iPhone is nor doesn't know what TikTok is either. Greg began to struggle with the younger generation's music and choices of world. Later that week greg was in a traffic stop with a young male and the male stated he "got that fye in the car," Greg ended up calling in a bomb squad confused that the male was saying he had a good speaker system inside his car. Greg felt embarrassed that he did not understand what the male was trying to say. To make matters even worse, Greg tried to go out to a club one night for a fun night and when he tried to go on stage and sing the temptations "ain't too proud to beg" the crowd was completely silent, and he just dropped the microphone and ran out of the club. Greg felt as if he was completely out of sync with the newer generation and needed to find a way to connect. He went to work the next day and found a young patrolman by the name of Daniel Hernandez. He approached Daniel and asked if he could ride along with him that day and Daniel accepted. Daniel and Greg became close, and Daniel began to teach Greg how the younger generation acts and speaks. Greg started to get the hang of things with the younger generation and even started a youth basketball team called the temptations and they won the city's all state tournaments. Greg felt as if everything in his life was going perfect, that is until one night while he was alone watching tv, he saw an ad on tv that stated "are you lonely, are you looking for love? Come on down los santos and find the love of your life."
Greg began to think to himself that he has gotten everything but a wife and a family. He began to do research about los santos and even looked up their police department roster and saw that they had a pretty good department. He was so excited to see such a structured department, so he talked to his captain about being transferred to the los santos police department and the captain advised Johnson if he wanted to do so he would have to quit the LCPD because they do not allow transfers. Johnson argued with his captains about putting in a good word for him so that he could pursue his dreams but the captain would not agree to transfer johnson. Johnson had a long thought about it and decided to quit the LCPD and to pursue his dream as a police officer in los santos. Little did he know that being a civilian was going to be much harder than he expected. Gregory bought a first class ticket to the city of los santos the next day and took his flight. So will Greg become an officer here in Los Santos or will he quit his dreams of becoming a cop and become a singer. Or will Greg do neither and become a homeless man in the city of los santos sobering in a dark depression from not achieving his goal. Or will he find true love within the city?

1.0 - Arrived in Los Santos on November 1st, 2022. 1.1 - Upon Moving to Los Santos he had decided that he did not want to fall back into civilian life, so he took on a job for PD Tow where he is aiming to prove himself to the police officers around him. He is aiming to get references for his police application in order to join the force. 1.2 - Johnson has now applied for the Police department and continues to work for PD Tow and the UwU Cafe until he hears something back. 1.3 - Johnson's long time friend Alex Suarez put Johnson in a bad spot when they raided the UwU Cafe for food, and took it without paying. Johnson's crush Ava was distraught and now hates the police department. 1.4 - Johnson's first encounter with Grand Marshal Kyle Pred was while he was working at the UwU Cafe, Pred labeled Johnson "The ugly guy" - Even after Johnson paid for his meal. After asking about how to get hired Pred offered to hire Johnson for the CPD. Johnson screamed in happiness for 5 whole minutes. 1.5 - Johnson received a call from Ava - We learned that Grand Marshall Pred is trying to ruin her marriage, Johnson was taken back by this news, we do not know how serious these allegations are and she requested her name to be kept away from Kyle Pred. 1.6 - Ava learned about Johnsons talk with Pred - he told her that his information was documented and she congratulated Johnson despite her hatred of the Police force. Towards the end of their conversation it got a little heated when both parties started talking about their feelings, Gregory ended up avoiding the UwU Cafe that night. |

1.7 - A cadet by the name of Charlotte saw Johnson at PD - they dragged him along for a ride-along and made advances on his movement towards CPD. While this was going on Johnson felt bad because he would be leaving his good friend Suarez in LSPD. A call was made the the people in charge of hiring and they were left unaware, meaning Grand Marshal Kyle Pred did not follow up on his interest as of yet. BUT there is still hope for Gregory Johnson. Let's hope CPD pulls through for Johnson. Right now Johnson feels quite sad about the whole situation. 1.8 - Anita - The head of hiring for CPD got back in touch and confirmed Johnson is on the list for an interview, It could take up to a week but he has officially secured the opportunity. 1.9 - Johnson also impressed some Sheriffs with his knowledge of radio chatter, while in the ride along he correctly told a cadet what to say when arriving on scene at a bank robbery. 2.0 - Suarez called Johnson and asked to talk, Said he was going to wait at the booth while Johnson was on a PD Tow call. Suarez sounded troubled by something and he just had the news of the offer Johnson received from Kyle Pred and CPD. 2.1 - Upon arriving at PD Johnson was left on the sideline while Suarez negotiated with LSPD high command. When johnson was invited to the conversation he was told that the main interviewer for LSPD was around and keen to conduct an interview after he was done flying AIR 1. They continued to question weather LSPD was Johnson's first choice, which as many of us know LSPD is Johnson's dream. He was born for this! 2.2 - Suarez asked "Do you wanna be a part of some militarised department or do you wanna be an officer?" As to which Johnson replied with.... "OFFICER... OFFICER.... OFFICER....." - This is Gregorys Chance. 2.3 - Johnson also vouched for Cherry and Doowee PD Tow workers when asked if they deserve an interview. 2.4 - While on shift as PD Tow Johnson reported somebody stealing a police car inside of the gates of MRPD. The individual was let go and threatened Johnson's life. 2.5 - Johnson hid in cover behind the tow booth while the same guy was out front looking for him. 2.6 - Suarez took johnson for his interview and sat in the corner to listen in, Johnson walked in quite nervous in the beginning but for his first time in Davis PD he was there for a good reason. 2.7 - Johnson sat in the interview and spilled his heart out, he told them everything they needed to know, in amazing detail. He put his heart on his sleeve and wore it. This was Johnson's time. His opportunity to become something bigger than himself. He spoke about how he is motivated to create and influence change, as well as provide a way for people to have somebody to reach out to. 2.7.1 - Johnson answered all questions to the best of his ability, he went on to scenarios, he was quizzed and drilled into and tested by the officers. They asked questions about the UwU Cafe and his crush to try and trick him. He did not fall into the trap and he stayed sharp. 2.8 - Gregory smashed his interview, everyone is happy with him. He was told he needs a doctor to do a physical in order for a decision to be made so he ran all the way to Mission Row from Davis PD to get his car and og to the hospital. Once there he wore short shorts that he found on the floor of the Hospital Locker Room for the duration of the physical. There was six members of Medical staff helping with his Physical. 2.8.1 - After the first phase of the physical Johnson was quite out of breath, he had ran up the while of Mount Gordo, then ran back down while being tackled by EMS - He made it out alive and well, they headed to Paleto to continue the physical. 2.8.2 - Once reaching Paleto Johnson was instructed to swim to 3 different islands before returning to the starting point, the EMS supported from a search and rescue boat just in case anything went wrong. On his way Johnson admired the coral beneath the ocean. He also mastered the Dolphin Dive technique. Johnson was reassured he had done well by the Doctor leading the physical, he had passed with a time of 3:30. 2.8.3 - Gregory managed to use this test as a chance to pick up some ladies, exchanging numbers with one of the female doctors. 2.8.4 - Next on the agenda was boxing, Gregory's toughest challenge yet. He has one of the toughest opponents. The whole EMT force. And one member of the BBMC. He took a lot of hits to the head that night. 2.8.5 - JOHNSON PASSED THE PHYSICAL! PASSED THE DRUG TEST! - They're happy with his interview, All is looking good... Now we wait to hear back from Officer Daniels about onboarding. 2.9 - Today is the day, Lets see if Johnson gets some good news. 3.0 - Johnson spoke with Doowee and informed him of his advances and Doowee did not seem too happy. 3.1 - After a long day and a conversation with Daniels and Suarez, Johnson is a little disheartened, he doesn't know what to do. He was offered an amazing deal from Kyle Pred and CPD, LSPD tried to pick him up first. Now LSPD are telling him to wait, he doesn't know if to take the opportunity now or be patient and wait to hear from LSPD...... But what will come from waiting? 3.2 - Johnson was approached by Suarez after quite some time, he was given the news that his application was a success. Gregory Johnson was welcomed to the LSPD. However, when told to wait to onboard he received a call from CPD inviting him for an interview.... Things were getting interesting. 3.3 - Johnson spoke to Ava and she had found out about Gregory's Interest in her. She and Gregory spoke about how this has affected their quality and quantity of work. After a long talk of thoughts and feelings Gregory had made the decision that he is not going to work at the same time as Ava in order to keep the Café running smoothly and efficiently. 3.4 - After two days had passed and the news was still none Gregory pushed for answers, they were hard to find but he looked high and low, he asked at every given opportunity. In the end it had paid off. Gregory was asked if he had been given his keys yet, Making his first move towards starting his onboarding. 3.5 - The night before his onboarding Johnson accompanied Suarez to watch the Chief Of Police Elections. Johnson was that nervous around this many people he forgot to eat food, he almost collapsed due to his own stupidity. 3.6 - Despite everything Johnson still remains excited for all events to come. |
Noteable Events[]
3.7 - Johnson has been in the PD for five days now, he got disheartened a few times when there was nobody available to FTO him for the day, but he showed his resilience and perseverance and turned up to work every day. He was given a chance by the assistant chief of police which wasn't sanctioned by the head FTO. He was disheartened when told to go home until an FTO was available but he did not let this affect him turning up for work when one was available.
3.8 - Gregory had two good FTO sessions back to back since then and he is doing really well receiving tons of advice and positive feedback. He is intending to work harder getting used to the handling on the CVPI cars since they were shipped back with new tuning.
3.9 - After a very long two weeks Johnson is settling in nicely. Today he took his first bullet and went down in the line of duty. But this did not stop him and his flawless run. FTO after FTO he has had nothing but good praise. But after a long while of Suarez being nowhere to be seen he re appeared as Johnson's FTO. And it was a successful day.
