Ginzu Okada was a criminal defense lawyer bar certified by the Department of Justice.
Steele V. LSPD Edit
Okada's client Jordan Steele had a trial against the PD for violating his rights by denying him a trial. Arresting officer AJ Hunter admitted that Jordan requested a bench trial. Okada argued that Jordan's rights were denied due to the failure of the PD to communicate with each other properly. Judge Coyote ruled in favor of Jordan, believing his constitutional right to a bench trial was violated by AJ Hunter.
The People V. Mr. Rodgers Edit
Okada's client Mr. Robert Rodgers faced the death penalty for multiple counts of attempted murder and murder. The DA's office pushed for the death penalty. A panel of justices including Dennis LaBarre, Judge Holden and Coyote found Rodgers guilty of six counts of attempted murder and one count of murder. Rodgers would not admit guilt and wanted a chance to appeal the charges. The verdict was given without the option of appeal, he received 18 years in prison including the 11 years already served. Rodgers would be eligible for parole in 7 years.
Ginzu Okada died on March 23rd 2020 at Pillbox Medical Center. He was stabbed by a serial killer known as "The Cleaner." He flatlined and died during surgery by local doctors.
