The Fujiwara Tofu Shop, also known as the Fujiwara Delivery Service, was a delivery restaurant created by Edbert Ropeburn.
The Beginnings[]
Fujiwara's business license was approved on January 5th, 2022 by the mayor. Originally, the business ran out a booth at Dean's World and the Paleto Farmer's Market, selling authentic tofu and takoyaki balls. Edbert dreamed of one day being able to deliver those items, and more, across all of Los Santos.
A long-term goal for the business is to have a shopfront in Vespucci. On April 22, 2022 Ed reserved the old Taco Libre on Bay City Avenue across from the Vitus intersection with the mayor's office.
Putting The D In Delivery[]
After acquiring office space at Cerberus Industries, Ed's plan to deliver food products across the city came to fruition. He hired several former UwU Café employees to assist him, but discovered his star delivery driver was taxi cab driver Greg Conklin, an old World War I vet with an unkillable personality. As a test of his abilities, during his interview Ed challenged Greg to drive him to the top of Mount Chilliad in five minutes. After some difficulty, the two finally made it to the top of the mountain, where Greg accepted his position as a delivery driver.
During Greg's first shift, Ed instructed him to make several difficult food deliveries, which just happened to be to every gang turf in the city. Greg successfully delivered food to the Los Santos Police Department at MRPD, the Vagos in the Barrio, The Families on Forum Drive, HOA in Mirror Park, the Ballas in the cul-de-sac, and to the Lost MC compound, all without being killed. Ed congratulated him on being his best and speediest delivery driver ever.
Overboost Drift School[]
Edbert worked with Shane Powers to have Fujiwara work in tandem with the Overboost Drift School and underground racing scene, delivering both food and other more nefarious items to racers while they are on-the-go. Ed also envisioned setting up a booth at the Underground, the drift track located behind the below-street-level H&O Exports industrial warehouse.
Additionally, Fujiwara were also contracted by Hayes Auto Body Repairs to be the sole provider of food and drink for the mechanic shop.
RICO[]
All of the BBMC's businesses were confiscated by the Federal Investigation Bureau six months following a RICO warrant being delivered to them at the Billy on the 13th of December 2023.
