Firefly is a street racing crew in Los Santos founded by Scarlett Skye. The crew can currently be identified by orange headlights on their bikes. The name was chosen with the visual of their orange lit bikes appearing to be fireflies when seen from Air-1
Background Information[]
Following a series of conflicts between the bike racing scene and PD, a meeting was held to understand and negotiate their ongoing issues. With the increasing number of racers in the bike scene, it was difficult to control everyone's actions during races. Ph0enix felt it was necessary to start a crew of trusted racers, to prevent the PD from grouping all the bike racers as one. Ph0enix approached Psych0, Cob4lt, Nomad and Kazu with this idea, offering them to be OG members of the crew.
Initiation Process[]
After a racer is invited a date is set up to do the initiation which consists of a mock chase where the new member must evade the rest of the crew. The rules are new member must stay in the city, they cannot stay still for more than a minute, and after losing the rest of the crew, they must run for 5 minutes without being seen before the initiation is complete. The initiation is very casual and is meant to be a fun experience which means things like pit stops for refuel and repair are allowed. The goal of the initiation is to not only test the new member but also practice comms within the crew.

| After inviting Chungus to the crew the OG's agreed she would be the first person to do an initiation and decided on doing a mock chase as initiation where Chungus would have to lose the other bikers in the city. On October 4, 2022 Chungus, Kazu, Cob4lt, Merc, Bulbasaur, and Ph0enix were hanging out when Ph0enix mentioned the idea of doing Chungus's initiation. Ph0enix also mentioned that Merc and Bulbasaur are both on the list of people to possibly invite to the crew and said that they could participate in the initiation. They ended up deciding that Chungus would use her Akuma as everyone else there only had A class bikes. Ph0enix ended up taking her car while the other stay on their bikes with Kazu using Chungus's R1. The chase went on for about 45 minutes with a pit stop in the middle to refuel and repair. Chungus was initiated into Firefly on October 4, 2022.

| Ph0enix, Cob4lt and Boden return from Russia after having gone over to rescue Boden. With Bulbasaur, now going by Bulba playing a part in Bodens disappearance, there was now a rift in Firefly between her and the other members. While Ph0enix, Cob4lt were in Russia, Bulba was shot by Chungus and tortured by Psych0, who cut out her tongue.
Ph0enix asked the members of the crew, Trafficker is indifferent but would lean more towards not wanting her there, if only slightly. Chungus was also indifferent to Bulba being there, however did mention it would take her a while to regain her trust if she was to stay. Kazu outright did not want Bulba in the crew anymore, she thought that she deserved more than what she had happened to her, but not death. When asking Cob4lt, he was unsure if he himself wanted to be in the crew, Cob4lt and Bulba were closer than most in the crew and what had been done to Bulba, not only by the two members of the crew (that he didn't know yet) but also by Boden upon her return and subsequent lying or not telling him afterwards. He asks for more time to think about it. Cob4lt finds out that Psych0 is the one who tortured Kiku, this leads to him wanting to be done with the crew, given he can't trust Psych0 anymore. This is the same with Kiku. Kiku and Scarlett talk up on a mountain about her place in Firefly, it gets kinda interrupted until the next day where they have the Observatory talk Cob4lt and Kiku leave Firefly. Ph0enix and Kiku meet up at Observatory to talk, by the end Kiku understands she's no longer a part of the crew. Earlier in the day Cob4lt talks over the phone with Ph0enix, wishing "Firefly well" implying that he is also done with them, given what Psych0 did to Kiku. |
| With most of Firefly together at Harmony, Ph0enix decides to call for a Firefly meeting, calling up Psych0 to see if he was in the city and available, with him able to they move to the Batcave to have a meeting and discuss what has happened since Ph0enix, Boden and Cob4lt came back from Russia. The meeting consisted of Ph0enix, Psych0, Chungus, Kazu, Trafficker and Boden.
Firstly checking in to see how everyone is, with them being fine, with there being fewer members than usual, Ph0enix brings up how by now everyone knows Kiku/Bulba is dead and what she did. However, she brings up that Cob4lt is also no longer a part of Firefly, though it may not be forever. She goes on to say that in her mind if Cob4lt wants it he still has a place in Firefly and asks the group what their thoughts are on him. Trafficker, Chungus, and Kazu all miss him in the crew and Psych0 feels Cob4lt always has a place in the crew and will be welcome back. Nomad is brought up, and the issue that he keeps talking about the Kiku situation(s) to people. Ph0enix asks the group what they heard about him and Kazu brings up the Ryder torture, which they all know is by Psych0. She goes on to say that Nomad found out about it and mentioned it to Teton, Ph0enix clarifies that she called Psych0 about the incident and asked how many people he had told, which turned out to be more than he first thought and not proof of Nomad snitching. On the topic of Ryder, Ph0enix mentions how he came to her and mentioned he didn't want to be a part of it, and was going to stay out of everything, however, she heard one story from him and another from Kiku about the same situation and doesn't trust him at all. The group is asked how they feel about Nomad, with them being on the side of disliking him, she goes on to ask if they thought about killing him, with them being shocked she would bring it up - but mentioned that if they were, she had talked to Tony about it. She asked if she was to shoot Nomad, would they come for her? If it’s self-defense and he shot first, no, but if they took him to the slaughterhouse then yes. Tony confirmed that Nomad getting redline and rust to come after them isn’t true, but something Tony would do in certain situations. It's mentioned that if any of them get any proof of Nomad snitching to let Ph0enix know, as when she asked Tony what he would do if someone snitched within his crew, he said he would kick them, potentially kill them. Trafficker inquires what they think Nomad is snitching on, Ph0enix replies they’re unsure but just heard he is talking a lot. Psych0 returns and is quickly caught up. Overall, Firefly and Redline are in good relations, given Ph0enix and Tony have been good friends and Tony helped out before, going as far as offering to make tracks for her and her crew. Ph0enix still wants Firefly to thrive, they’ve all been through a lot with the recent Russia and Kiku situations, getting questioned about the death of Kiku. Trafficker supplied lawyers for the group with Elizabeth Gates and Tristan Aziz. Only Psych0 and Kazu had been questioned so far by the PD. |
| Scarlett returns to the city after some time away at a retreat, to get over some things that has happened in her life and recent events.
On her return, she sees texts from Cobalt, asking to talk and that Dingo is around. Dingo, someone she has long been interested in inviting to the crew. She invites him to her home and hands him her own Firefly pin, asking if he would join, tears in his eyes he accepts. Scarlett catches up with Cobalt, who has mostly come to terms with everything involving Kiku, not seeing it as Scarletts fault but more Nomad. Scarlett asks if he wants to come back to Firefly, and he does |
| On 12th May, 2023 Scarlett Skye calls up all the members of Firefly to meet at the observatory with all but Kelly Dean in attendance. Scarlett talks about how it was here at the observatory many months ago the Bike Scene as a group talked with the cops, set boundaries and it was from there that Firefly were formed.
She tells them that many may not know, but they were approached by the puppet Earl to continue causing chaos after they ambushed cops for going hard on them, with the promise of M+ boosts maybe coming back and a Race Creation Dongle. She mentions she thought it was over until she got a call from an unknown number telling her to go to a phone booth where she will find a package, a brown envelope which contained the Race Creation Dongle. She unlocks her car and shows the dongle to her crew, then asks what they want to be now. Scarlett had ideas of them becoming a Racing Crew not focusing on bikes, a Heist crew or disbanding and asks the crew for their opinions. Psych0 needs the group to stay a racing crew else he gets shot, the others are fine with it being a general racing crew as they all do crime together anyway. Scarlett says she'll give them all a chance to send her ideas for races and she'll get them made |
| Trafficker, Chungus and Cobalt are -were- all part of the same gang outside of Firefly, the Saints. In the span of a couple days, Cassie got blooded out and Cobalt kicked from the group, causing some tension between them and Jordan. Scarlett hears their side of everything as well as Jordans, but is yet to come up with a decision on if anything should happen to him in the group, however did ask them if they could work it out with him, if they wanted him to stay.
Cassie is in her emotions, but is willing to give it a shot and work it out with Jordan, however she can't stand his pettiness. Cobalt is past the point of working it out with him, he feels that everyone but Jordan had their heart in to the crew, but since bike racing died out with the manufacturer changes and recalls, Jordan never reached out to other FF members to do things. |
