Candice DeFitt was a Sergeant for the Paleto Bay Sheriff's Office, Badge #393.
She officially resigned and left the city on December 3rd 2023.
Candice DeFitt was the first 'real' Interim Undersheriff for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office post restructure from 05/05/23-19/05/23.
Personality[]
Candice likes to go fast, and most of her police work revolves around the thrill of the chase. To many criminals in Los Santos, she is synonymous with PD's Motor Unit, serving as a fearsome presence in pursuits. She provides leadership through her deep knowledge of pursuit etiquette, her willingness to take new cops through the trial courses, and her advocacy of the unit to High Command. Changes in the police department have eroded her passion for bikes over time, and when the unit finally took too much from her without giving back, she gave up her cert.
Instead, Candice patrols in vehicles with four wheels. The skills she developed on the bike - a knack for predicting criminals' behavior, paralleling instincts, and the ability to direct other units - have translated well to the car. Though she was once nearly useless in chases, she became quite effective with time and practice.
Many of her contemporaries regard Candice as an excellent and reliable support unit who is always willing to do work aside from just chasing in primary. She will provide tactical guidance when she has to, but is usually content to let others have the spotlight. She is unafraid of confrontation, and prefers when people voice their complaints to coworkers rather than stewing behind their backs.
Background Information[]
Candice DeFitt began her career in the police department as an anxious, timid cadet with the general intention of making the world a better place. She wanted to make friends, she tried to form traditional romantic relationships, and she had empathy for the people around her - even the ones doing crime.
Unfortunate events in Candice's life chipped away at this positive attitude. One was the sudden death of Adeline Devangari, just as Candice's attachment to her was growing. Another was PD Command's betrayal of the Motor Unit - her baby - negating months of work helping it flourish. A third was the slow transformation of her department from a cozy family to a cold and corporate workplace. These things contributed to a feeling of hopelessness in every area of her life - in romance, in friendships, professionally.
Candice can now only be described as a cunning psychopath. She lies without effort and uses pleasant conversation to get what she wants from others. She flirts with women until they show the slightest bit of disinterest in her, then ghosts them. She delights in killing animals and chain smokes indoors. She takes advantage of imbalances of power wherever she can find them.

- Candice is an expert in providing sex ed to the police department, claiming that "pulling out is dangerous." This inspired her nickname and BTF codename of "Creampie".
- Candice was an Agent of the Burglary Task Force and once helped catch four separate house burglars in a single day by pretending to sell Girl Scout cookies.
- Candice has mad game and is constantly hit on by citizens of Los Santos, including men, women, cops, criminals, and civilians. She returns that affection only to women, generally those outside the police department.
- Candice had an ongoing rivalry with Saleem Shakib due to a motorcycle accident, leading to repeated criminal threats and warrants issued in response to those threats. She takes credit for his eventual rehabilitation and admission into the police department.
- As a cadet, Candice faced criticism for a lack of urgency, inattention, a poor attitude, and poor driving.
- Candice has shown disrespect to the elderly, resulting in anger and attacks from Prune Gang members Mel Rickenbacker and Eugene Zuckerberg.
- Upon meeting fellow cadet Crystal Clear, Candice was distressed by her similar appearance, possibly due to jealousy and insecurity. Candice repeatedly insulted and dismissed Crystal despite Crystal's attempts to win her over with gifts, flattery, and friendliness. This resulted in several HR interventions, including a team building exercise wherein then Sheriff Kyle Pred went off duty and pretended to kidnap William Gunner based on Gunner's suggestion. Candice and Crystal suspected they were set up based on later seeing Kyle's "borrowed" car on a scene with Kyle and Gunner, but were not sure. The incident seemed to make them grow closer, with Candice encouraging Crystal's driving at one point.
- Candice may be somewhat of a furry, occasionally getting down on all fours and shouting "Yiff! Yiff!", along with frequently exclaiming her fondness for various sorts of animal girls.
- Her other romantic habits include spitting, stepping, sex in public, and taking advantage of her position of power.

This eventually resulted in Flippy shooting Candice in the left eye through her helmet and sending her to the ICU, requiring her to wear an eyepatch while she healed. The injury left a scar on her face.

- Candice was "promoted" from Senior Deputy to Senior Deputy+ by then-Sheriff Kyle Pred due to saving Brian Knight's life after a shootout.
- After some decisions were made for motor that were out of her control, Candice decided that she would focus her talents on other areas than the motor division, and did not want to ride motor while it was in its neutered state.
- Candice was invited to assist the P&T Division with PBSO interviews for Shift 1 by Matthew Espinoz. She has also shown interest in becoming an FTO.
- Candice shot and killed Jamal Tyson when he claimed to have a bomb and threatened to blow up the courthouse. She was cleared by Internal Affairs for acting in good faith.
- When the Motor unit was shackled, Candice scrapped her signature ponytail-through-the-helmet look and started wearing her hair down, claiming she'd washed it because the ponytail was "full of cum", according to a statement from Anna Droid some shifts prior.
- Candice was one of four deputies to model new uniforms for the CPD at its opening ceremony on October 24, 2022. She immediately took to her uniform, and shows it off to others by instructing them to look at her ass.

- When William Gunner mistook an SDSO intern for a dog and opened fire in Undersheriff DeFitt's meeting, she and Senior Deputy Neil McReal successfully pushed for his firing from the Police Department. Gunner's desperate actions after losing his job led to his death, a fact Candice proudly embraces.
