Description[]
Bree Matthews (formerly Bree Stone) was a Paramedic and FTO who worked for the Emergency Medical Services and had the call sign Papa-3.
Backstory[]
Bree Matthews, born Bridget Matthews, was raised in Liberty City. Bree worked as a private investigator and this is where she met her ex-fiancé. The relationship soon turned abusive, and Bree, fearing for her life, fled to Los Santos.
Moretti Famiglia[]
Soon after moving to Los Santos, Bree jumped right back into private investigation. It was here she met David Banks. He took her under his wing and introduced her to Tony Moretti. She soon quit her job as an investigator and began working at the Vanilla Unicorn, owned by Snow Andriacci of the Andriaccia Famiglia.
It did not take long for Bree to discover that Tony Moretti and the rest of the Moretti organization was, in fact, an Italian Mob. Things were great for a few years. Bree worked her way up to Capo status due to her viciousness, bloodlust, and a keen eye for observation.
That was until David Banks began his obsession with Bree. She realized that she needed to leave the family but if she tried, they would kill her.
Fortunately, it was at this time that the Moretti Famiglia disbanded and moved back to Italy.
After this is when she met Vinny Pistone...
Chang Gang[]
Vinny Pistone and Bree became fast friends. Due to her connections with the now-defunct Moretti Famiglia, Bree had access to a large stash of weapons. She quickly became the main weapons supplier for Vinny and the rest of his crew - often accompanying them on several jobs.
During one such job, she supplied the weapons for a brutal assault and sent Ming Jingtai to murder the Andriacci Famiglia on her behalf. In response, they kidnapped Bree and stabbed her several times in the abdomen to send a message. She still has the scars to this day.
One thing lead to another and Vinny and Bree began to date - much to the disdain of his wife, Kayden Pistone. He hired her as his personal assistant at Premium Deluxe Motorsport. This continued on for a bit but the rest of Chang Gang did not like the relationship. It came to a boil when they kidnapped Bree and Vinny and took them on top of a bridge. Mr. Chang forced Bree to make a decision. Either end the relationship and jump off of the bridge or he would murder Vinny Pistone. Bree decided that it was best to end things, and she jumped off of the bridge. Thankfully, she survived.
EMS[]
After ending things with Vinny Pistone, Bree felt lost. She decided to apply for a medical position at Pillbox Medical. She was granted an interview and was hired immediately. It was here she met her ex-husband, Boba Stone. They became fast friends and got married in 2019. Unfortunately, the marriage did not work out and they were officially divorced in November of the same year.
Following shortly after, one of her closest friends, Officer Maverick Shaw, was brutally murdered at Pillbox Medical while protecting the hospital from attackers. Soon after this, the culmination of never facing the horrors from her past and dealing with the divorce, death of several friends, and the murder of Officer Shaw pushed her over the edge.
Bree struggled with the death of Officer Shaw, not quite knowing how to handle it and in response, started avoiding her friends and co-workers. With the recent death of her ex-husband, she closed herself off further and shortly after decided to quit her job as a Paramedic.
BBMC & Family[]
Recently, Bree has decided to get back to her roots and was officially hired to work as an exotic dancer at the Vanilla Unicorn Strip Club. She has also decided to take the plunge and join the life of crime as a hang around / hopeful for the Bondi Boys MC. This is where Bree discovered that she and Ash Matthews have the same last name. After going to Pillbox for a DNA test, the two discovered they are sisters.
While visiting the Vanilla Unicorn, Mother and Bree were formally introduced together. Both, having a close relationship with the late Officer Shaw. They confided and reminisced together, Mother expressing her remorse and jealousy that she never got to see the man Officer Shaw became.
As of April 10th, 2020 Bree is no longer a hang around for BBMC.
Bree Matthews has recently been hired to work as a mechanic for Harmony Repairs Garage. Because of this, she quit her job as a stripper.
The Collective[]
After quitting EMS and returning to a life of crime, Bree quickly became bored and wanted something more. She decided to start a shadow organization called The Collective. The organization only involves itself with high value heists, mainly targeting museums, private collections, and jewelers. Bree's code name is Renaissance.
As Renaissance, she offers several expensive services such as:
- Falsified passports and identification cards
- Prescription forgery
- Forged bank records and property ownership records
- "Acquiring" rare art and jewelry
- Surveillance and reconnaissance
- Cyber crimes and identity theft
Helping a Serial Killer[]
November 2020, Bree Matthews was sent to prison for attempting to execute Sai Carter and this is where she met Jasper Saxon, the Cassette Killer, for the first time. The two became fast friends, with Bree intentionally committing various felonies to get sent to Bolingbroke for long periods of time. Their friendship developed, however, Jasper was in prison for murder and facing the firing squad. With time running out and literal days before his execution, Bree reached out to her old ex boyfriend, Vinny Pistone, for help. He arrived with the rest of Chang Gang and the group agreed to help get Jasper out of prison.
November 29th, 2020 Jasper Saxon was successfully broken out of prison, along with several others. In order to avoid being caught, Bree gave him a new identity - Ronnie Grey. With Jasper free, the two were able to work together. She kidnapped several people for him, including Dr. Choi, Patty Mayonnaise, Deputy Mina Price, and Nicole Rivers.
Unfortunately, on December 30th 2020, Jasper was shot down during a standoff with police. He had kidnapped Andi Jones, Dr. Choi, and Patty Mayonnaise and forced Officer Dan Faily to choose between the three. Before he was able to make his choice, Dr. Choi fatally shot Jasper several times. He was later pronounced dead.
Later that same day, 2020 Bree Matthews was arrested by Officer Divine and Officer Malton for her involvement with Jasper. She is facing Accessory to First Degree Murder x 62 and if found guilty, will face the death penalty. Bree is currently held until trial in Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
After spending 12 years in prison, Bree was finally able to have her day in court. After a lengthy trial that spanned three days, she was ultimately found guilty of attempted murder of a government employee, attempted murder, felony obstruction of justice, and two counts of kidnapping. She was not found guilty of accessory to first degree murder and was able to walk free on time served. The case however inspired a new law called "Patty's Law" in which it is now against the law to harbor a fugitive who is wanted for capital level offenses.
Faking her death[]
On January 22nd, 2021 Bree faked her death by staging a weapons deal gone wrong. Since her release from prison, Bree knew she wanted to move on and create a different life for herself, unable to live with the stigma of assisting serial killer Jasper Saxon. Abandoned by most of her friends, banished from Pillbox Medical and having most of her connections and associates cut her off - she decided that the only clean break would be to fake her death. She chose a secluded place near Elysian Fields and stashed inside her Karuma a black duffel bag containing 15 SNS pistols and a box of ammunition. With the help of her best friend, Reggie Might, the two staged the scene with her blood and a hail of gunfire to look like she had been shot at while trying to flee the area and then get dragged out of the car by her hair, before being transported in a second vehicle.
In the early hours of January 23rd, Bree caught a flight under the assumed alias of Ella Lisby to Europe where she will live for the foreseeable future.

- The only note in her MDT profile reads "Is a chicken nugget".
