Norman Bones is a character role-played by Ziggy.

💀 General Description[]

In the past, Norman was known as a Lawyer, Private Investigator and occasional taxi driver in Los Santos. Eventually he was revealed to be one of the city's most notorious serial killers before being caught and sentenced to death.

After being gone for some time he has returned to Los Santos, but now he identifies himself simply as Death. The actual nature of Norman is still unknown but some believe him to be a god, reaper, devil or possibly a demon. He has the power to kill people merely by being in their vicinity and bring them to a place in between life and death known as 'purgatory'. He is often seen accompanied by a crow, the most recognizable one being a big black crow with red glowing eyes named Noxee.

💀 Information[]

Norman appears as a middle aged, pale, Caucasian man with short, grey hair, a faint beard and bone-y face. He is usually seen wearing a flat-cap, glasses and turtleneck shirt along with a jacket or coat, all in some shade of black or grey. He's often seen smoking a cigarette, another old habit from his time as a human. He has a deep, almost raspy voice that people describe as equally intimidating and soothing.

After the death of his brother, Norman has moved on to wearing fully black clothing. Even though his eyes were red before his brother's passing, they've recently appeared a darker shade of red with a stronger glow.

There is a belief that how Norman chooses to present himself is not his true form as Death. Cody described that as Norman extracted both Pez and the Highwayman from his body, he appeared more skeletal in nature, similar to that of a grim reaper.

Norman[]

Norman usually comes off as very calculated, well-spoken and level-headed. He is quick to pick up on small details, tellings, and mannerisms of those he speaks to. He views any vulnerability in a person as an easy way to manipulate them and will try to do so regularly. He rarely raises his voice but still shows anger and will often resort to threats when people try their luck with him. He doesn't really enjoy small talk or people in general but still humor one-on-one conversations with people from time to time as long as they're being cordial.

He enjoys playing mind games with people and will often try to pit people against each other by revealing bits of information he's gathered. Due to this he has gained a reputation of being a bit of a 'gossip'.

Norman doesn't have friends but instead values people based on their usefulness and respect.

Even when he was alive Norman was still very much considered a lone wolf and not much has changed since becoming Death. He has stated that he prefers solitude and even if he was the last man left in the world he would be more than content with his situation and even prefer it.

Death[]

Even though Norman has stated on multiple occasions that he and Death are one and the same, it is clear that their opinions and feelings regarding certain topics differ. Death does not feel things like mortals do and appears indifferent in conversations, usually simply stating how things are with no real emotion attached to those statements. Often times when they speak it is a combination of Norman and Death doing so as their being is one and the same. However, Death can also be addressed directly and spoken to, something that Richard Dark discovered.

Norman often makes notion on his human nature versus his nature as Death, stating how a lot of things he used to do while alive he still does out of old habit. He has also revealed that it is the human side of him that enjoys other people's pain and suffering and that Death feels indifferent to it. Death has also openly described Norman as being "truly evil".

The exact extent of Norman's powers is yet to be discovered but some things are known about them.

Immortality

  • Physical things that would normally kill a human, like bullets or weapons cannot harm him.[1] He has also described himself as being immortal but people speculate that since Norman replaced the death that brought him to purgatory there is still some way to get rid off or "kill" Norman.

The power to kill

  • Several people have been seen being dropped to the ground while near Norman so it's evident to say that he is able to kill people at will. After first appearing at the lighthouse, plant life in the area also started to die which was attributed to Norman's presence. Even 'locals' have been spotted being dropped to the ground when in the vicinity of Norman or Noxee.
  • He can "rot people from the inside out", something he's threatened several times and also demonstrated on people like Sai Carter and Lizzy Byrne who got to pick which organs would specifically be targeted.
  • He has also taken credit for people falling ill, most notably Cleo's heart condition. Jeffrey Bundy was also inflicted by a lung condition that will eventually kill him.

Teleportation

  • He has the power of teleportation as he's been seen to suddenly appear at locations in what seems like an instant. Similar to moving in the physical world he can also move to other realms like that of purgatory[2] or the realm that lies beyond death.

Revivification

  • Norman has the power to bring animals and people back to life. He can do so as long as the person has not already moved on to the other side or if they have no wish of returning.

Memory removal/alteration

  • In the deal to bring Dundee back to the living he would also make sure Dundee's memories of him were gone. A similar deal was made by Flop Dugong where, instead of losing his life, Flop lost the memories of his families upon returning from purgatory. If Norman has the power to alter memories or simply remove them is yet to be seen.

Skeleton Key

  • Norman is in possession of a skeleton key, one of two known to be in existence. The key can be used to open various doors, gates and cages - but not all of them. It is the only key known to open the door to the Lighthouse.

Other

  • Norman knows when things get hurt or die and describes this as simply being a "feeling" he gets when it happens. He also knows where people are without them telling him. This doesn't necessarily mean that he knows where every individual person is at all times but it's sufficient to say that if he wants to locate someone he can and will do so.
  • He can commune with the dead, both those who have passed on and those who are stuck in purgatory and have yet to do so.
  • He can alter the weather at will. When he does, it usually changes to rain, thunder or heavy fog.
  • Similar to how corvids can mimic sounds and voices Norman has been seen doing this with the voice of Cleo Shaw. On two occasions this happened in person with Jeffrey Bundy and Bryce Miller respectively. He has also done so over the phone on several other occasions with various people.

💀 Return from the Dead[]

Since his re-appearance in the city, Norman spent most of his time manipulating people into making deals with him. The most common deal being protection from death or bringing a loved one back from purgatory by sacrificing another human life. Norman has explained that there's no real purpose behind his current involvement in the mortal world, only that he's bored and that he enjoys "watching people squirm as they try to avoid the inevitable(death)".

He's usually found to be residing by or inside of the lighthouse on the east coast of the island. Though he has claimed that he has no real attachment to the place, people still speculate whether the lighthouse holds deeper secrets or the key to purgatory. The lighthouse may also still hold some sentimental value to him as the property by the lighthouse used to be his home.

Norman has claimed many times that after Death came for him he came for Death. He wanted to start making the decisions of death himself that's why he chose to replace it.[3] People are still speculating on how Norman managed to take over as Death, however some theories have been ruled out. Norman did not make a deal with Death but he described that a "joining" of the two happened, leaving a part of Norman within the entity that is Death. He has also revealed that unlike other souls he will never be able to move on to a final resting place.

Some people believe that the reason why Norman makes deals with people to do his bidding is because he is incapable of killing people himself. Norman himself has disproved this, not only through conversation but through action as well. He claims to be personally responsible for around 20 deaths since he took over the position, 8-10 which he stabbed, the rest were killed through supernatural means.[4] As death it is also his purpose and responsibility to make sure that people pass on every single day, though these deaths are carried out by Norman as the entity of Death with no personal input from Norman's human side.

💀 Story Events[]

Previous Life and Death

Norman and his brother Isaac were born and raised in Chicago, Alaska. Throughout their younger years of living with their parents, they were abused both mentally and physically.

During these years, Norman experienced his first sighting of death. He witnessed as a cat impale itself on a broken fence post, and died as he stood watching. This event switched something in Norman's brain, making him want to see more. He decided to start killing animals himself after that, enamored with the process, which eventually led to him warping his mind into believing that he is Death itself.

When Norman grew older he got a job as a mortician. While at work one day he got curious and decided to start skinning a corpse but was caught in the act by his boss. In the spur of the moment he went ahead and cut open his boss from hip to hip, leaving him dead.

To avoid discovery he decided to flee the city but not before killing own parents together with his brother. Norman killed their father while Isaac took care of their mother.

The brothers parted ways shortly thereafter, and lead separate lives for several decades with no communication.

Norman eventually ended up in Los Santos where he started working as a lawyer as well as a pastime taxi driver and private investigator. This did not stop him from pursuing death like he had before and he went on to kill many more people as well as recruiting "tools" to do his bidding for him.

Soon enough he was discovered as a serial killer, responsible for 54 killings and attempted murders. After being caught he was sentenced to death and executed by fire squad. His body was not given a proper burial and was instead dumped in the ocean near the lighthouse. Norman was presumed to be dead until suddenly making an appearance back in the city.

A Deal with Dundee

In June 2021, an incident where Irwin Dundee overheard confidential information, eventually led to Sam Baas and Tony Andrews shooting and ocean-dumping him. After his supposed death, Dundee found himself in Purgatory where he met Norman.[5] He was offered a deal to return to life and continue his legacy. In exchange however, he'd have to cause as much death and chaos as he possibly could. Dundee took the deal and returned to his club and the city. Little did he know that this deal would haunt him and lead to his undoing.

Barry, the vice prime minister of the BBMC, would come to learn about Dundee's deal when he was chosen as sacrifice for Norman. Dundee did not manage to go through with killing his husband and best friend, and instead left the decision up to Barry - to kill Dundee or another person close to them. While under pressure, Barry agreed to kill his own father Hubcap Jones on the condition that he be the one to do it.

When the time came to pull through with the deed, Barry realized that even though one body will be given to Norman, later they'd have to sacrifice another, and then another, as long as Dundee's deal with Norman remained. And so on the day when Hubcap was to be executed, Barry instead pointed the gun at Dundee and killed him.

A Lighthouse and a Highwayman

Sometime after acquiring the property located by the lighthouse, Cleo Shaw and Cody Speedwagon as well as their closest family collectively known as 'The Bundy Bunch' started experiencing strange phenomena on the property. Plants started dying and bones started to appear in the waters and in their garden. This was all attributed to their newly found out neighbor Norman Bones.

Norman wanted to spark conflict with the people now residing in his old home. Besides the plant life dying, Norman also started to slowly kill Cleo's heart. To end this torment Cody was offered to make a deal. He were to give up the soul of his father, the Highwayman and give him to Norman - in return, Norman would let the family be. Scared of what might happen if Norman were to get hold of and release his serial killer father, Cody and the rest of the family started to come up with a plan to kill Norman.

Norman gave Cody up until the last living flower's eventual death to go through with the deal or Norman would come for him himself. This resulted in the family protecting the flower best as they could to get more time to plan - putting a cage around it to protect it from crows and watering it daily. Eventually the day for their plan would arrive and Cody went to pluck the flower from the ground himself to mark the end of the deal.

Bargaining with the Devil

After Dundee's death, several of his members started to question if killing Dundee was really the right choice and so they reached out to Norman to try and strike a deal for Dundee's life. Collin, who assisted Barry in shooting down Dundee, was the first member to make a deal with Norman. They would war with the Bundy family and kill the last living flower on their property and in return Dundee would be brought back to life.

Later on, Barry's son TJ made another deal in order to cancel the previous one. TJ is to kill for Norman with the added stipulation he wouldn’t have to kill someone in or close to the BBMC. He also wanted Dundee to have no memory of Norman and all strings that Norman previously had on Dundee would be cut. Norman agreed to this deal.

Eventually, TJ was told to pick the name of his first victim. TJ chose Sam Baas, who used to be a close friend and mentor in his days of being a police officer. On September 24th, 2022, TJ managed to kidnap Baas together with his club and bring him to the same spot where Dundee was killed by them. TJ shot Baas in the head and Norman was there to claim Baas' soul and bring him to Purgatory. Dundee was now free to return to life when he felt ready.

Showdown at the Lighthouse

On the day of the showdown a lot of people gathered to help out best they could. Their plan was to shoot down Norman with bullets blessed by satanic magic as well as bind him with holy chains. They would then put Norman inside the lighthouse and blow it up with explosives. Cody went over to the lighthouse to give over the spirit of his father in hopes that killing Norman would kill his father as well. Little did he know that when taking his father, Norman would end up taking the soul of his brother Pez as well.

Jeffrey managed to successfully shoot down Norman with his sniper rifle but was mysteriously dropped to the ground shortly after with a stab wound to his neck. Cody proceeded to wrap Norman in chains to move on with the plan and Cleo showed up to help him. Unfortunately for them both, Norman had only been taken down briefly and got back up on his legs. He pulled a knife and dragged Cleo with him into the lighthouse, upon which Cody gave the signal to blow it up.

Cleo was crushed by the rubble in the explosion and upon her death - taken to purgatory. Her body was never found.

After the fight was over, the remaining family members grieved the loss of Cleo. But not all hope was lost as life slowly returned to the property. Where the last flower had stood there was now a bush sprouting white flowers and out of the bush came a white bird. Lennon took on the bird and named it 'Hope'.

This wasn't the end of the conflict with Bones. After the fallout, Jeffrey was inflicted by a lung condition. Norman would also make sure that other people involved in the plan to kill them would be punished for it. He would also contact various members of the family and friends of Cleo and mock them by mimicking her helpless cries in purgatory.

Bryce FAFO pt.1

Bryce was the only person who decided to attempt to bring Cleo back from Purgatory. He approached Norman and offered to make a deal as long as he could get proof that Cleo had not yet moved on. Norman took him up on the offer and brought him to see Cleo in her purgatory. Once there, Bryce was trapped and forced to either stay dead or make a deal to come back to life. Bryce chose a life for a life and was returned to the mortal world.

For a long time Bryce failed to take his situation seriously. He'd often make jokes and send memes to Norman and didn't treat him as a threat.

On the 27th of October however, Bryce received a phone call with a target from Norman. He was to kill Emma Dupont and had two weeks to pull through, or they'd both die.

The Chicken Man

After Andi Jones decided to make a deal with Norman in exchange for protection against the Chicken Man, Norman proceeded to meet with Richard and make an agreement. Richard would have to leave Andi alone while their dealings were in place.

Though he initially agreed to the terms, the Chicken Man would grow impatient and ultimately broke the agreement and chased after Andi anyway. In response, Norman handed a crow to Andi, known as Smoke, in hopes that the crow would ward off the chicken.

This turned out to not be the case as Richard later chased down Andi with a hammer and stole the Smoke from her. Norman has since had a personal vendetta towards Richard and has vowed to kill him for his defiance.

It is presumed that the Chicken was avoiding Norman for a longer period of time, only showing up in the city on occasion to view people from afar. The one time he did interact with someone was in a church with Andi Jones, where he had her locked in and forced her to kill Smoke. After doing so he again disappeared and Norman instantly showed up, looking for him.

Learning that Richard had already left Norman openly called him a coward. He proceeded revive Smoke and handed him back to Andi and told her that Smoke might need to learn a thing or two from Noxee, who seems to be the only other being besides Norman that Richard actually fears.

On the 26th of October, 2022, Andi and her friends were once again pursued by the Chicken Man, resulting in several people getting hurt. By the end of the day Andi decided to make one last trip to the lighthouse where she once again found an eyeball by a smoking skull.

She continued to the island north of the lighthouse where after consuming the eyeball she once again saw the white crow that appeared to be injured. After approaching the crow she was trapped inside of a cage and Richard appeared once again as well as Noxee who tried to fight him and fend him off. The nearby battle resulted in Andi dying and she found herself in Purgatory together with Richard and Noxee where the two continued their fight.

Andi, believing that after dying she had nothing left to lose went on to repeatedly stab Richard with a knife hoping it would kill him but it had no effect. She soon heard the voice of her dear friend Nancy Drew who helped her hide from Richard and guided her to the boat by the shore and helped her return to the land of the living.

Consequences

Following the showdown at the lighthouse Flop's fathers were contacted by Norman and informed of their sons involvement in the plan to kill him. Norman deemed that Flop be punished for his actions. Richard Dark decided to try and talk to Norman to try and save his son and so he went to the lighthouse accompanied by his husband.

Once there they were informed that a person in their family has to die to make up for Flop's mistake and the only way to avoid that from happening would be to make a deal. The couple were hesitant but eventually entered the lighthouse and made a deal in hopes to buy them some time. When Norman calls they would have to provide a life of someone they knew, in return their family would be spared.

Neither Matt nor Richard were willing to actually go through with the deal and instead started to look for loopholes in the deal or a way to alter it. During a brainstorming session with Flop and Andi they found out that Norman has a brother named Isaac that he cares for and so they decided that maybe they could use this brother in a new deal.

This turned out to be a horrible idea as Norman did not take lightly to someone using his brother as a bargaining chip. They were told to leave and never speak of his brother to him again or he'd kill all three of them.

The Return of a Brother

In the Book of Revelation of the New Testament there was said to be Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in popular culture often depicted as Pestilence, War, Famine and Death. It is believed that these beings are slowly making themselves known in the city of Los Santos with the goal to bring the world to its doom.

One of the Horsemen would turn out to be Norman's own brother, Isaac.

Following the disaster of the Rhodes/Dark family negotiations, Norman ended up contacting his brother himself who made an appearance in the city. Being possessed by the immortal entity himself, Isaac would love to torment the family himself and Norman gave him free range to do whatever he wished with them once their deal was up.

Isaac would manage to get hold of Flop before this however as he found him shot on the ground. Exactly what Isaac would have done with Flop is unknown as he was rescued by Jackie Snow shortly after before Isaac had an opportunity to do anything.

To make sure the knowledge of his brother was not spread further, Norman contacted Flop and told him not to speak a word of his brother to anyone and inform his fathers to do the same. Flop proceeded to push the line of what that meant and went on to inform others of his brother using notes or aliases. Norman found out about this and gave him a final warning.

After his first appearance, Pestilence was quick to reach out to other various people in the city like Snow and Rhodes, hinting towards the Horsemen's approach and the apocalypse that is to come.

Stirring the BBMC

Even after striking a deal for Dundee's life, Norman was not done toying with the BBMC, sometimes showing up in the Billabong to chat with various members and reaching out through phone calls. One member who almost got manipulated into a deal was Chip Wheeler. Chip was the ex-husband of blooded out club member Pez.

Norman informed Chip that Pez was no longer in this world and that he was stuck in Purgatory. He tried to lure Chip into a deal by offering him a chance to speak with Pez and the possibility of bringing him back to life as the old Pez that they all loved. Chip almost went for the deal but was talked out of it by Finn and Nancy.

The club tried to keep their distance from Norman from that point on and resisted making any further deals. Though Norman would still check in with members of the club from time to time, most of all Barry, whos mind had been slipping by the prospect of Dundee returning.

Bonecon 2022

After being unable to alter his and his husbands deal with Norman, Richard Dark decided the next thing to do would be to gather all of the people known to be involved with Norman in hopes that they would find a solution together.

This would lead to the creation of the Council of Bones, or the more commonly used term brought up by Bryce - Bonecon.

On the 2nd of November, Bonecon 2022 commenced but would end up as a failed event. Due to it being an anonymous meeting people were more or less keeping information to themselves and only shared if they felt like they had something to gain. Richard would still push for people to stay hopeful and would end up sharing as much information as he could, including information that should not have been said.

Flop had been tasked to remind his fathers to not speak of Norman's brother, Isaac. But Flop had forgotten to mention this information to his father Richard. During the big gathering Richard openly spoke about Norman's brother as well as the fact that he was not willing to go through with his own deal.

The culmination of the two eventually lead to Norman making himself known at the meeting where he called out Richard on his inaction and futile attempts to stop him. Shortly after Richard was dropped to the ground. On closer examination his pulse had weakened and his hand had been infected by rot. He was taken to the hospital where his hand was amputated to temporarily stop the spread.

Flop called Norman who explained to him that the status of his father was Flop's own doing and to save the life of his now rotting father Flop would have two days to provide the life of Kiki Pendragon.

Flop Flops

Realizing that he would never be able to pull off killing Kiki, Flop felt like he was out of options. A day after Bonecon, he'd try one more time to appease Norman, and so he went into the lighthouse to offer a counter deal. Instead of a life of a person he would give up his memories of his family as well as the life of his beloved dog, Sock. Norman accepted the offer and took Flop to Purgatory. There he added that Flop would not only lose the memories of his closest family, but his other found family The Bundy Bunch as well.

After having another conversation with Flop's fathers, Norman decided to take Flop up on his offer of his memories. Flop was returned to life where his fathers were met with a son who no longer recognize them. Even though Flop had also offered the life of his dog, Death felt that the dog had done no wrong and should not have to suffer due to it's previous owner's reckless actions. Sock was left with Balto and was later reunited with Flop, who no longer remembers that he had a pet as Sock was family.

With this, Dark and Rhodes' deal was considered done and they were released from Norman's grasp. They are, however, not safe from the grasp of his brother, Isaac, who still seek to infest the family and bring them pain.

Bryce FAFO pt.2

Running out of time and not seeing a way to get out of his situation, Bryce decided to tell Emma Dupont as well as Snow and Copper about his deal with Norman and the target he had been given. Being unwilling to pull through with the deal, he shortly after received a phone call from Norman. Bryce, thinking that he'd be dead regardless, proceeded to defy Norman and insult him over the phone. In addition to the call, Bryce also received a call from Pestilence, who has taken it upon himself to give Bryce a slow and painful death.

Snow managed to bring Emma out of Bryce's deal by making his own and subsequently saved her life. Bryce however, still owed something to Norman and would have to pay. Norman attempted to collect on Bryce's deal but Bryce managed to narrowly avoid him by making him slip on a banana peel and run away.

Bryce would again be saved by someone else's deal as Charlie Greene approached Norman to trade her own life in exchange for that of Bryce and Jeffy. Thinking that taking Charlie's soul would hurt the both of them, Norman accepted the offer and Bryce's deal was nullified.

Bryce however, would still not be safe as Norman would send Oberon Dawes to haunt him, as well as the still looming threat of Pestilence.

Dundee Returns

On the 17th of December, 2022, the BBMC got to learn that their previous leader had returned from the dead. Immediately the club started to scramble and to try to figure out what to do about their new situation, leading to conflict.

Barry decided to confront Dundee on a cliff in the mountains. In an attempt to jog Dundee's memories about his dealings with Norman, Barry decided to text Norman and ask for him to appear before Dundee. In exchange he'd owe him a favor.

Norman agreed and appeared before both of them only for Dundee to dismiss Norman as just 'some old guy'. This favor would end up hurting the club further, not only by what Barry would have to do - try to bring Dundee back into the club, but also the club's trust in Barry as a leader.

Since Norman fulfilled his end of TJ's deal, TJ would now have to continue his work with Norman. That is, after his return from a long vacation with his boyfriend.

The Death of Isaac

According to Norman, his brother had been dead for a long time. The only reason why he was still in this world was due to Pestilence keeping his body together and denying him his death.

On the 4th of January, 2023, Pestilence decided it had had enough of Isaac and would end his life.

Isaac had a risky nerve surgery planned for the day that could end up killing him. Norman, knowing what fate awaited his brother was seen outside the hospital leading up to his surgery.

Once Isaac arrived and was in the operating room, Pestilence took over his body. It made him stab Harlow Mathews, the doctor who was in the room with him. Hearing her screams, Olivia Copper came into the room where Pestilence demanded that she shoot Isaac.

She refused, saying that she'd never give Pestilence what it wants. Pestilence responded that if it couldn't have him, then no one could. Isaac collapsed on the floor and his body started to rot away. Norman stepped into the room shortly after to have one last look at what remained of his younger brother.

Norman, who usually appears cold and emotionless, would for the first time show emotions of sadness. Going to purgatory he'd meet his brother once again. Isaac, who until this point had forgotten most of his childhood together his brother Norman, would end up remembering all the awful things that happened to them as children.

Norman would apologize for all the things Isaac had to endure up until that point. They shared a moment of grief before Norman had to leave. He promised that they would meet again before facing oblivion.

Throughout the rest of the day and the day following, Norman would show a very human side of himself while mourning his brother. He'd show kindness towards Copper due to her strong relationship with Isaac and offered her advice to ward of Pestilence. This empathetic side of Norman would, however, not last long.

Pestilence would take hold in Isaac's body and meet up with Norman shortly after. It called out Death on Norman's emotions and how they are working against their cause and told him to get them under control.

Norman, knowing he didn't have much of a choice, would come to terms with his role as Death and embrace it.

💀 Relationships[]

Tessa Lamb

Tessa's true relationship with Norman is unknown to everyone but them. Norman claims Tessa was one of the few people who was always kind and cordial towards him and for that he was more fond of her than others. from Tessa's point of view she only ever knew Norman as a friendly old man and a lawyer.

In reality, Norman discovered Tessa's alter ego and fellow serial killer Mary. They've secretly been in contact for a long time and are working together even after Norman's ascent to a new form of being. This doesn't necessarily mean that Norman cares for Mary or Tessa's life but he does consider her a useful tool.

Jacob Harth

Norman used to be pretty close with Jacob as well as his sister Zelda and worked well together. Jacob, together with his group The Watchers are now back in contact with Norman and are helping him by providing information as well as new technological tools.

Pixie Plum

Norman's relationship with Pixie is a longstanding one. Due to her own involvement with serial killers and knowledge about them, she and Norman ended up eventually talking to one another. Their conversations would almost always involve some kind of manipulation and it was Norman's intention to turn Pixie into one of his tools. This was further backed up in Norman's journal where Pixie was the last name that was mentioned.

Pixie has since managed to move on and has claimed that she has changed as a person. Though once again hearing Norman's voice seem to have had some sort of emotional effect on her. Whether or not Norman is simply playing a game with her for fun or if he's trying to bring their relationship back to what it used to be before he died is unclear - But the latter is supported by a text Norman sent here where he asked what it would take for her to quit her job as a psychologist.

Isaac

Isaac is Norman's biological younger brother and a similar immortal being to that of Norman.

Isaac is the only person Norman has ever admitted to having any kind of love for. He has not revealed much else about his long lost brother to anyone, but mentioned to Andi that he has trouble with his memory most days don't even remember Norman's existence, which is true.

It is unknown for how long the entity of Pestilence has been in possession of Isaac's body or to what ends, but they explained that they're what's keeping Isaac together and that Isaac is only alive because of them.

On the 4th of January, 2022, Pestilence decided it was time to move on to the next phase. They stopped holding him together and Isaac passed away. After his death he was greeted by Norman in Purgatory where he regained all of his past memories. The brothers shed some tears together and Norman told Isaac he was sorry before saying goodbye.

The Crows

Norman's crows are the offspring of Noxee and the closest thing Norman has to any living family.

There used to be a total of 12 crows, including Noxee but they're now down to only 8 being in Norman's possession.

Noxee who used to be by Norman's side has spent months in Purgatory, guarding and fighting the Chicken Man and has not been seen since they entered the realm together.

Ghost was the crow that took Noxee's place by Norman's side while its mother was away. Ghost was a very shy bird and would often lurk nearby or in bushes rather than being out in full view. Unfortunately, on the 3rd of January, 2022, Ghost was sent out to look for Noxee. He was later spotted injured on the island north of the lighthouse and eventually discovered there dead, most likely by the hands of the Chicken Man. Later that same morning, the crows gathered by Ghost's grave to mourn their brother.

Bolvar was once one of Norman's crows but was taken and converted by Balto Connelly and is currently in his possession. Whatever Bolvar did with the bird seemed to have awaked something inside of it and Balto has told stories of the birds eyes changing colors and its constant tendencies to set things on fire.

Another crow, Smoke, was initially given to Andi Jones as a ward against the Chicken Man. Though Smoke was proven to be ineffective for that purpose, Norman still allowed Andi to keep the bird.

The remaining 8 birds are named: Axel, Cain, Drake, Ash, Shaw, Creed, Nox and Grim.

Even though they are the offspring of a supernatural entity and some of them possess some sort of powers similar to Noxee - Most of them are more akin to regular crows and will behave accordingly.

Cain is the currently the main bird accompanying Norman.

Noxee

Noxee is the big black crow with red eyes that is often seen accompanying Norman or acting on his behalf.

It is unclear exactly how connected the two are or how long they have known each other but Norman has often let people know that Noxee is an old bird. Norman also claimed that Noxee is his bird but at the same time that they are their own being, with their own motivations and goals - though the bird's goals often align with his own.

The Chicken Man

It is assumed that Norman and Richard used to have a very neutral relationship until Norman struck a deal with Andi Jones which would prevent Richard from harassing her and her group. Norman and Richard supposedly came to an agreement that he would no longer hurt Andi but Richard chose to later ignore this agreement and go against Norman. Due to his continued defiance, Norman said he would end Richard's life. Richard has since tried to make Andi pick his side over Norman and has told her his goal is to replace Norman as the new Death.

Richard was later captured in Purgatory by Noxee where they have been kept in a constant battle. This gave Norman time to reconsider his relationship with Fritz and Andi as Norman is more aligned with the motives of Fritz than those of Andi.

What exactly their relationship might look like once Richard returns from purgatory is unknown.

It is unclear how long Norman and Richard might have known about each other. When Andi Jones posed this question to Norman, the answer he gave was "Basically forever, but perhaps only the last few years. Time is a difficult concept."

The Highwayman

Norman wanted to claim the soul of The Highwayman who was currently trapped in the body of Cody and so he struck a deal with him. Norman managed to claim the HWM during the showdown at the lighthouse and is currently the one holding his leash. He wanted to be able to release the HWM onto people, knowing what chaos and pain he could inflict. Even though Norman would eventually allow the HWM to reign chaos on the world - he grew impatient quickly and started attacking people without Norman's permission or knowledge.

After learning about this Norman seems to have tightened his grip around the HWM and even sent Noxee after him to make sure he would stop acting out of line. The reason for his attacks Norman likened to that of a child lashing out because they were told no.

💀 Deals[]

Lists of people who have made deals with Norman.

Ongoing deals
TJ Walker[6]
After disagreeing with a deal Collin McKinley made with Norman, TJ decided to approach Norman on his own with a new offer. Similarly to Dundee's previous situation he would become Norman's new tool and do his bidding. In exchange Dundee would be brought back to life but have no previous memory of his dealings with Norman. TJ asked that he'd also never have to target anyone in the club or anyone heavily associated to which Norman agreed. TJ would then pick the name of his first victim in order to bring Dundee back. TJ settled on Sam Baas. On the 24th of September TJ and the rest of BBMC kidnapped Baas and executed him in front of Norman. On the 17th of December, 2022, Norman completed his end of the deal to bring Dundee back to life.
Rudi Rinsen & Flossie Grey
Rudi and Flossie are both to act as Norman's tools. In exchange Norman will spare Flossie if she ever were to suffer and early death.
Louis Bloom
Hearing about Lily's deal Bloom made another offer with Norman. Instead of Lily going through with taking a life he would do it in exchange for his or Lily's. Norman accepted the deal.
Andi Jones
Andi Jones approached Norman and offered a deal. She is to provide him with poison to use at his own digression. In exchange Norman will protect her and her gang from the Chicken Man. Andi later struck another deal that would protect her closest family from any of Norman's tools or deals with other people. In exchange Andi would provide him with an unlimited supply of burner phones.

Norman later offered Andi to get out of their first deal as he had failed to uphold the end of his bargain due to the Chicken Man's unpredictable behavior. Andi decided to keep her end of the deal in exchange for her and her group to be protected for Norman.

As a reference to Death Note, Andi decided to hand Norman an apple. When he did not eat the apple she asked if he ever would, then suggested that she would keep bringing him apples so that on the day she dies he would take a bit out of the apple, marking her death.

As of December 2022, Norman started to question Andi's usefulness to him, implying that he might cancel their deal altogether. Not having many options, Andi agreed to set up a meeting for Norman with her husband Denzel Williams.
Brian Knight
After learning that Sam Baas might have been taken by Norman, Brian made his way to the lighthouse to make a deal for Baas' life. He agreed that he'd take the life of another person with the notion that it would not be the life of someone innocent. He also invited Norman to haunt him up until the point where his deal were to be completed. Norman accepted the deal and Sam Baas returned to life on the 29th of September.
Cody Speedwagon
The exact nature of Cody's current deals is unknown but it is known that he has made more than one new deal with Norman and it includes the protection of his current girlfriend Storm Peyton.
Tommy Melarky
Tommy didn't really agree to a deal with Norman but willingly decided to work with him. He was looking for a greater purpose and constantly felt like his family pushed him to never be involved in important family matters. Wanting change, he sought out Norman.
Ash Ketchup

After manipulating Ash to believe that Jasper would be returning from the dead, Ash eventually agreed to a deal with Norman to keep Jasper from coming back to life. She is to bring people to him whenever he calls. In exchange, Jasper will stay dead.

Ash was asked to pick the name of her first victim. She decided on Clarke Adams the “Hydra EMS”. Together with the help of Hydra she kidnapped him and brought him to the lighthouse where Ash stabbed him. Norman met with Ash and her gang shortly after and complimented them on their work, noting that this is only the beginning of their working relationship.

Mattias Nilson

Mattias never sealed a deal with Norman but Mattias and his MC, Mayhem, believe Norman to be Odin and are worshipping him for that reason. They are more than willing to give him souls as he is the god of the dead. So far the MC has not dealt much with Norman but after being kidnapped and held hostage at a bank job up in Paleto by some members of the Ballas, Norman asked Mayhem to hunt down one of the members that kidnapped him to teach them a lesson. On the 3rd of January, 2023, a member known as TicTac was taken to Norman. Norman showed TicTac that he is indeed a god by allowing Mattias to shoot him in the head before he stabbed TicTac as a warning to not mess with him in the future. Mayhem brought TicTac to the hospital where he was placed into ICU for a day but he survived the ordeal.

Luke Bloom

Luke has been spotted around the lighthouse on several occasions and has had conversations with Norman in passing. On the 3rd of January, 2022, Luke approached Norman with a deal of his own. He'd take the job as Norman's personal secretary and keep track of who comes and goes at the lighthouse. He also offered his own soul to Norman. In exchange Norman would spare the life of Izzy Carrington if it ever were to be placed in danger.

Kieran Felix White

Kieran felt guilty after accidentally blowing the cover for Thomas Normady in his investigation into Brian Knight. On the 22nd of November, 2022, in an attempt to keep Thomas from getting further involved with Norman and possibly getting in harms way, Kieran offered his own life as his health is already declining and he believes it'd be better used protecting someone he loves. By trading his life Thomas life will be spared if the moment ever comes where it is put in danger. On the 24th of November, Kieran came to the lighthouse where he was stabbed and taken to purgatory by Norman.

Kieran was stuck in purgatory for some time but on the 20th of January, 2023, he was brought back to the living, most likely due to making a deal with Norman. Like many others returning from purgatory, parts Kieran's memory seem to be missing, including his memory of ever making a deal. One does however not get out of purgatory without paying a price.

Cleo Shaw

On January 6th, 2023, Cleo came to an agreement with Norman and was brought out of Purgatory. It seems like she does not remember what type of agreement she made but in Norman's words, returning as she is, she "will be the death of that[her] family". He also said that Cleo's return to the living is only temporary.

Bon Bon

During a conflict between BBMC and the Clowncil on January 24th, the clown known as Giblets lost his life. Filled with grief and looking for revenge for their fallen brother, Bon Bon and Sooty got in contact with Norman and made their way to the lighthouse to make a deal.

They quickly came to an agreement. Bon Bon wanted Norman to make Dundee and Barry suffer. In exchange he would bring whoever Norman asked for and spill their blood. If he ever fails to uphold his end of the bargain Norman would be allowed to claim his soul instead.

Damien Tinkerman

Damien arrived at the lighthouse on January 24th and offered himself to Norman. Feeling tired of this world he felt it best if he left it for a while. In exchange for letting Norman have his life he asked that Norman help his friends in the Clowncil because they don't deserve the struggles they were facing with BBMC.

Damien added that he would probably like to return one day and would be willing to pay a price to do so. What that price will be is yet to be determined.

Finished deals
Irwin Dundee

Met Norman in purgatory after dying where he was offered a deal by Norman. In exchange of coming back to life he would become Norman's tool and kill and hurt as many people as possible, even those around him if Norman told him to. This eventually led to a moment where Dundee had to kill one of his club members. When Barry Benson found out about his intentions and deal with Norman, Barry made the decision to execute Dundee in order to protect the club. Dundee's soul is currently in purgatory but has been paid for by TJ Walker.

Dundee has been granted permission to leave purgatory but has yet to do so.
Cody Speedwagon (Nullified)
Norman sought to get the Highway Man out of Cody and so started to cause troubles for his family. Cody agreed to give over the Highway Man and in exchange Norman would leave his family alone. When going through with the deal Cody and his family decided to try and kill Norman for the suffering he had caused them. The price the family had to pay for defying him was the life of Cleo and Pez.
Collin McKinley (Nullified)
Collin made a deal with Norman to get Dundee back from the dead. In order to do so he'd have to get rid of the last living flower on the Bundy family's property. This deal was later mitigated by TJ making another more appealing offer to Norman.
Lily Pond (Nullified)
After being harassed by Michael Simone Lily felt like her and her boyfriend Bloom were in risk of dying. She made a deal with Norman to take the life of someone else or give up her own to spare Bloom. Her deal was later negated when Bloom offered a new deal that would spare them both.
Matt Rhodes & Richard Dark (Nullified)
Norman contacted Dark and told him Flop, or someone in his family had to die as the price for Flop standing up against him during the showdown at the Lighthouse. Rhodes and Dark both went to Norman and made a deal. Deliver a life to Norman and in exchange their family is spared.

After their son decided to offer his own memories of his family as a deal with Norman and Norman later accepting that deal - Matt and Dark's deal was considered to be over on behalf of Flop.
Flop Dugong
After being tasked to kill Kiki Pendragon to save his father's life, Flop decided to try and offer Norman a new deal. He offered the memories of his family as well as the life of his dog, Sock, to save the lives of his fathers. Norman brought Flop to purgatory while he contemplated the offer and later accepted it, adding that Flop's additional family would also be forgotten.

Flop was later returned to life with the memories of his families gone.
Bryce Miller (Nullified)
Bryce offered to make a deal with Norman if he got to go to purgatory to see Cleo. Norman took him up on the offer and brought him to Cleo's purgatory. Once there, Bryce was trapped and forced to either stay dead or make a deal to come back to life. Bryce chose a life for a life and was returned to the mortal world.

On the 27th of October, Bryce received a phone call with a target from Norman. He was to kill Emma Dupont and had two weeks to pull through, or they'd both die. Running out of time and not seeing a way to get out of his situation, Bryce decided to tell Emma as well as Snow and Copper about his deal and the target he had been given.
Jackie Snow
After Bryce Miller completely botched his deal with Norman, Dupont's life was put in direct danger. Realizing that the only reason Dupont was targeted was to get at Snow, Andi Jones eventually managed to convince him to go and make a deal with Norman to save Dupont's life. The exact nature of Snow's deal was never established as he passed out from smoking a poisoned cigarette before finalizing the deal. He was given a week to consider what he had to offer before Norman would approach him again. When they finally met up, Snow lost his ability to fly as his functioning lung from that point onward would fail at high altitudes. He also gained a new superficial fear of heights after Norman threw him off a bridge. In exchange for his losses, Dupont was saved.
Charlie Greene
On the 22nd of November, after learning that Jeffy would be a potential new victim of Norman, and Bryce actively being hunted down, Charlie made her way to the lighthouse in an attempt to do something about their fates. She offered up her own life to spare both Jeffy and Bryce. Norman chose to accept her offer and she was given 2 hours to say her goodbyes. After 2 hours passed, Charlie made her way back to the lighthouse. He asked if she wanted her friends to be able to recover her body to which she answered "No". She then stepped inside the lighthouse where she was killed by Norman and brought to purgatory.
Sam Baas
On the 24th of September Baas was shot and killed by TJ Walker and taken to purgatory where he eventually made a deal with Norman. The exact details of Baas' deal are unknown but it is believed he the deal to give a life in exchange for his own. On the 29th of September he was returned to life.

Months passed and the time came for Sam to finally pay up. He picked the name of his former girlfriend Shelly Smith to sacrifice for Norman. On the 30th of December, 2022, Baas brought Shelly to a pier trying to make her jealous and start a fight. Eventually a fight did ensue and in the chaos Sam managed to stab Shelly. Norman showed up shortly after. Though he did not claim Shelly's life that day he deemed Sam's due to have been paid and their dealings to be over, for now.
Barry Benson
On the 19th of December, 2022, Barry was confronting Irwin Dundee on a cliff in the mountains.

Norman would later collect on his favor, giving Barry two options: Try to bring back Dundee into BBMC as prime minister or try to kill Nancy Drew. Knowing how it would affect his VP Collin McKinley if anything were to happen to Nancy, Barry chose option 1 and invited Dundee back into the club. Though Dundee was not made PM, Norman still deemed that there was an attempt from Barry's side and considered the favor to have been paid.
