General Description[]

Amoris Pax is a Paramedic for the Emergency Medical Services with the call-sign Papa-8.

Background Information[]

Amoris has spent almost all her adult life in a small hippie commune in a rural northern county. In her youth, her mother worked as an EMT, firefighter, and paramedic, and her father worked in a psychiatric center, until they joined the commune as Amoris was about to enter high school. The commune was as a huge family, and isolated, so Amoris never developed romantic relationships, but did develop familial love for those surrounding her. Amoris felt comfortable expressing herself in this new community and transitioned to a woman before she turned 30.

Arriving in Los Santos[]

January 10, 2020 was her first day in the city of Los Santos. Arriving just after turning 41, after having had a midlife crisis at 40, Amoris decided to go to Los Santos to see if she could have a bigger positive impact on the world, beyond her small commune. Since then, she's learned a lot about the many things she's missed, as her commune is rather archaic by modern standards. She learned how to drive from Tessa Lamb. Amoris alternated between independently working the news, food truck, taxi cab, and tow truck. After she got out of the penitentiary for "11 months" on a misdemeanor reckless endangerment charge, she got a ride to the city with Mickey Rivers, who also runs Weazel News. Pax decided to join their crew as a contractor on January 19, 2020.

Journey in EMS[]

Amoris felt a strong connection to the Emergency Medical Services and law enforcement she encountered during her time in Los Santos. Amoris had some limited medical knowledge from her mother and volunteering as an emergency responder in her community. After doing several ride-alongs and volunteer shifts, Amoris applied for a career with EMS as soon as it was available, on March 19, 2020. A dozen days later, high command informed her that she was invited for an interview. Later that day, Amoris had her interview, and was accepted into EMS Academy! April 11th was the first day Pax was on duty as a trainee with call-sign T-6, which was soon after changed to T-5. On April 27th, Pax was promoted to EMT with the call-sign E-9.

EMS Certifications[]

Pax completed Search And Rescue certification (later changed name to Water Rescue certification) training on May 5th, after Leonardo Sand instructed her on water rescue, and Bobbi Russel instructed her on mountain & urban rescue. On July 20th, Pax was passed over for promotion and her call-sign changed to E-7. On August 23rd, Pax was promoted to Paramedic in rank with the call-sign P-8. Two days later, Lei Sanya instructed Pax on her Critical Care certification, meaning Pax became an active paramedic. On August 29th, Bailey Jade instructed Pax on Fire Department certification, including fire fighting, traffic collisions, and HAZMAT. On November 12th, Leonardo Sand started to train Pax on helicopter flight, ending after a crash. Bobbi Russel continued to train Amoris on the 17th and 24th, both ending in crashes. Finally, on the 26th, Bobbi Russel had a long and successful flight session with Pax, and she finally passed her Life Flight training, without incident.
