General Description[]
Ernest Gygax, better known as The Game Tester , was a serial killer associated with the Architects of Sigil.
Ernest Gygax also took on the moniker The Dungeon Master, with the goal of seeking revenge on the Bondi Boys MC, after Irwin Dundee held Ernest up while he was attempting to buy a bike from the Vespucci Bike Shop.
Bondi Boys MC Revenge/Stevie McQueen's Kidnapping/The End Game[]
On July 16th 2022, two days after the kidnapping of Stevie McQueen, Jordan Lee-Prospect of the BBMC-captive, and abducting and torturing Lennon McDermitt and Jeffrey Bundy, Ernest enacted his End Game, setting up an elaborate series of riddles and clues across various locations in Los Santos. Each location would reveal a letter, which while scrambled, would reveal his name and expose his identity. He rang Collin McKinley of the Bondi Boys, Lily Pond of the Paleto Bay Sheriffs Office, and Jagger 'Chatterbox' Gerady with their initial clue for the hunt. Channing Turner and Ophelia Dawson of the Bondi Boys MC joined Collin in their search, while Demi Black, Percy Weaver and Eryn Carter joined the PD's search.
Believing that the Dungeon Master had Jeffrey Bundy hostage, and unaware that Faye Antonia had taken him already, Lily Pond and the rest of the PD searching were unimpressed by Collin, Fey and Chain's involvement in the Dungeon Master's final game, and started removing letters placed at each location. This somewhat hampered the BBMC's search, and frustrated both parties, with the PD threatening to arrest and place any BBMC member found interfering on a 24-hour investigative hold.
Thankfully for the BBMC, a couple of hours into the game, Pond and the PD narrowed their search to a hotel in Paleto, after someone they believed to be Faye Antonia was spotted outside of it in a rented Futo. Pond was apprehensive on if she could enter, and so enacted a watch on the hotel room. Pond left the scene, but Demi Black eventually decided to breach the room and found Jeffrey Bundy beaten inside.
Upon locating Bundy, their participation in the game ceased, allowing the BBMC to continue on uninterrupted. Some time later, Collin McKinley received a call from a number he did not know, and on the other end was a frantic female claiming she had found Stevie while chopping at a property off North Calafia Way. Collin had visited the property on his initial search for Stevie the day she was kidnapped, but at the time, it provided no clues to Stevie's whereabouts. The individual on the phone provided Collin with her name, Tatianna Donatacci.
The BBMC were apprehensive, but along with guidance from Nancy Drew, they decided to follow up on this lead. Upon arrival at the property, they found both Tatianna and Stevie, who was alive, but in a bad way after being injected with fentanyl. In her final game with the Dungeon Master, Stevie had rolled a Nat 20, which spared her life, but she was locked in a room on the property. Guided/prompted by Stevie, Tatianna, on her 5th roll, secured a 18, which fulfilled the requirements to secure Stevie's release from the room.
Barry Benson, unaware of his club members advancements in finding Stevie, rang Collin who gave him this information. Barry was annoyed he had not been told, even though they had only found her around 20 minutes prior. Collin informed Barry they were taking Stevie to Viceroy Medical, where Barry said he and Dundee would be waiting. Upon arrival, the hospital was in lockdown, as Jeffrey Bundy was inside, having surgery. Assuming they would not let them take Stevie inside, Dundee became greatly enraged and from across the road, with the use of his megaphone, started verbally berating and abusing the officers standing out the front, one of which was Lily Pond, who upon learning Stevie had been found and that , in Dundee's words 'the BBMC had done a better job at finding her than they had', muttered to herself that she wasn't even looking for her anyway.
Dundee organized an EMS to attend to Stevie, but she was slowly succumbing to the fentanyl and needed further treatment immediately. Unsure what to do, Chain said he would be taking Stevie to the hospital himself regardless of what the PD said or did or what it took. Inside she received the treatment she required and she survived her ordeal.
Throughout the day, the clowns-Chatterbox and Kirk Jerkems - had been making their own way through the clues, along with Red Harrington, with both parties passing on any information they came across to Collin. After completing a club S+ boost, Collin, Fey and Chain, along with Stevie herself, resumed their search for the Dungeon Master.
Collectively they had managed to gather the letters G, N, T, S, X, E, D & M, while the PD had the letters G, R, A, Y & E.
BBMC went out in two cars; Stevie and Fey in one, while Chain and Collin in the other. Fey and Stevie found a clue directing them to the Wind Farm, a location which Collin has also been at on his initial search. There they found a car with notes naming Demi Black and Eryn Carter. They noted these and continued looking, and when returning to the scene a few minutes later, noticed the notes had been removed and replaced with ones with their own names. They knew the Dungeon Master was close and watching them. Fey rang Collin, who started making his way to the Wind Farm immediately.
Red Harrington and his daughter Lucy were both on scene at the Wind Farm with Stevie and Fey. Suddenly, the Dungeon Master emerged from his hiding place in a bush, with his gun drawn and pointed at Stevie. He was immediately surrounded by Stevie, Fey, Red and Lucy, all with their own guns drawn.
The Dungeon Master told Stevie to tell him his name, but she couldn't answer. She asked him to tell her instead, and knowing they had not successfully completed his mission, instead cried out 'I will forever be known as The Dungeon Master', pulling the trigger. Immediately, all 4 surrounding him opened fire, downing him. Panicked, Fey and Stevie threw him into the truck of Fey's car, driving off. They rang Collin, who told them to drive to a pier north of Chumash. Collin informed Barry and Dundee, and they both made their way there. Upon arrival, the Dungeon Master's pulse was incredibly weak. The dice determined he may be saved, so they headed to Grandpa's to provide medical. Unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful and The Dungeon Master was dead. Frustrated and confused, the Bondi Boys all unleashed gunfire on the Dungeon Master's at Grandpa's, leaving behind numerous gun casings. They decided to end their game by sending the Dungeon Master to the depths of the ocean, and proceeded to the banks of the Alamo Sea, lockpicking a boat, all climbing on board, and commencing their journey out to sea.
Once far enough out, Stevie requested to be the one to drop the Dungeon Master overboard, and did so with the final words of 'I rolled a 20, fuck you'.

- Ernest has social anxiety, for which he rolls a D20 before any social interaction to determine his level of confidence. His voice, mannerisms, and eloquence all depend on these rolls.
- Ernest would study his prospective victims by stalking them and often trying on doors to see if they are unlocked.
