Ember Quinn (born March 26th, 1997) is a clown, and member of the Clowncil.
Appearance[]
Ember has bright red-orange hair, and wears face-paint. She has an eye-patch. In defiance of her troubled past, Ember expresses herself through vibrant and mismatched clothing, embracing bright and colorful outfits that reflect her spirited nature.
Personality[]
Ember Quinn has a profound affinity for fire, willing to take responsibility for any fire-related incidents she causes. Her fondness for fire contrasts sharply with her intense aversion to water, including rain, and her inability to swim, which puts her at risk of drowning in deep water.
Raised in the circus without knowing her real parents, Ember developed a childish personality as a result of her traumatic upbringing. Easily influenced and lacking in worldly knowledge, she often misunderstands sexual jokes and struggles with adult concepts.
Ember bears deep mental scars from her circus past, particularly fearing the intimidating ringleader. Her anxiety sometimes manifests as paranoia, fearing pursuit by former circus members. She frequently experiences nightmares about her tumultuous circus life.
Backstory[]
Ember Quinn emerged from a globe-trotting circus that turned her suffering into spectacle. Forced to endure being set ablaze, dodging knives, and enduring various tortures, Ember faced punishment if she failed to amuse the audience. Occasionally, after particularly successful shows, she and her fellow clowns were rewarded with the rare treat of watching old movies on a projector.
During her daring escape, Ember skillfully picked the lock of her oppressive collar and ignited one of the main tents, causing chaos among the circus staff—an act that brought her immense satisfaction. Since then, Ember has been in constant flight and concealment.
Until arriving in Los Santos, Ember had never known life beyond the confines of the circus, her existence solely defined by its demanding and perilous routines.
After the Economic Collapse[]
Five years have slipped by, and Ember awakens from a coma induced by a drug overdose. During the chaotic collapse of the government, she found herself with minimal support, yet Grace and Roman remained steadfast, visiting her sporadically. With the restoration of governance, Ember finally receives the comprehensive support she requires, gradually stirring back to consciousness.
The world around her has transformed in the intervening years, presenting Ember with a blend of unfamiliar faces and those from her past. As she navigates this altered landscape, Ember encounters both new allies and old acquaintances, setting the stage for a new chapter in her life after such a profound and tumultuous hiatus.
