Edgar Del Castillo is a dynamic, polarizing criminal mastermind and serial murderer.
He is the Founder and Leader of The Tripas Cartel.
He is a true visionary. In his own words, he thinks of a grand scheme or vision and reverse engineers it to achieve his desired results.
Background[]
Edgar Del Castillo, a descendant of a king named Edgar Lopez, was born on an Island named Guarma. Edgar and his cousin Cesar Delgado † (a descendant of King Vicente Delgado) grew up on Guarma together, and always talked about how they want to travel together when they get older. Edgar wound up in Los Santos, and Cesar moved there from Jalisco, Mexico so they could work together just like their ancestors did.

Edgar is recognized by his eye patch covering his left eye he had lost in a tragic incident seven years ago.
Edgar can be noticed with either a shaven hairstyle along with a mustache or his current ponytail hairstyle along with a beard. Edgar has a noticeable blend of both old and new scars marking his face.
His style is very military inspired, but casual. Often wearing combat boots, field caps, baggy BDU pants, basic staples. Edgar typically opts for olive, khaki, camo, or earth tones.
He has a very undaunted, assertiveness, but slightly mysterious demeanor. He's very observant and often makes moves in the long run that shift outcomes in his favor almost as if he's always in control.
Edgar presents a captivating yet polarizing presence often leaving a strong impression on those who meet him for the first time.

Edgar is a formidable figure known for his exceptional communication skills and persuasive abilities. He has a remarkable talent for engaging and charming those he encounters, whether in casual conversations or high stakes negotiations. His eloquence creates immediate connections, allowing him to draw people in effortlessly. Driven by an unwavering ambition, he believes he can overcome anything through sheer determination.
This mindset fuels his personal goals but also inspires others to pursue their ambitions, fostering a sense of collective purpose. Edgar tends to have a sharp intuition at times which further enhances his interactions he can read people and situations pretty well which can tailor his approach on matters.

Edgar is a violent, dangerous man, but if you give him trust, he will give you full trust and respect in return.
When Edgar cares about someone, he’ll go to great lengths to defend and protect them by almost any means necessary. He'll treat their problems as his own, standing by them without hesitation, but if you cross him, he'll respond with even more scorn back.
He enjoys a challenge, eagerly accepting any rivalry and never hesitating to double down. If accused of something, he speaks his truth but if its pushed further, he won’t deny it, he’ll agree with it, embracing the accusation to dare them to act on it, just to see how far they’ll go or how they react.

Unlike many others, misery fuels him. Edgar thrives the most when there's chaos, pressure, setbacks, hatred, etc. It feeds him and motivates his desires, making him focus further. When there's disaster or obstacles, he sees opportunity. It's fuel to push harder, move faster, and hit back tenfold.

Five Year Gap[]
After surviving being dropped on Sanguine Isle from a helicopter by Barry Benson, Edgar was rescued by native Sanguianians, who took him in and nursed him back to health. Parts of the island had not been irradiated badly after the Sanguine War, and Edgar and the islanders survived in pockets that were safe from the nuclear fallout. After a year, Edgar recovered his health and made his way home to Guarma. When he was done mourning his cousin Cesar, he decided to return to Los Santos.

Soon after arriving in Los Santos six years ago, Edgar competed in the third season of Survivor, titled "Survivor: Blood vs. Water", and was awarded the five million dollar prize by host Andi Jones. With the prize money from Survivor, Edgar became obsessed with purchasing Sanguine Isle, which had been irradiated following their war with Los Santos. The mayor and the Los Santos government began blocking his attempts to acquire Sanguine and decontaminate it. In the meantime, Edgar crossed ally Yeager Demonblood by namedropping him and his bomb-selling capabilities in an LSBN article about Sanguine. Yeager sent his Sanguine War deputies, TJ Walker and Johnny Divine to kidnap and assassinate him, with the help of Solomon Walker and Pigeon. They stood him on the aircraft carrier looking out over the sea toward Sanguine before gunning him down. Edgar's quest for revenge against those who had robbed him of his dream of a clean Sanguine would consume him, and lead to the deaths of his beloved fiancée Rosabel Briar † and his best friend and cousin Cesar †. Although Bunny tried to talk Edgar out of violent retaliation, Edgar responded that he could not change his nature. Edgar and Cesar began investigating TJ's club, the BBMC, a large and violent terrorist organization that had led in the Sanguine War against Los Santos. While surveiling Vespucci, a helicopter full of BBMC members swarmed Edgar and Cesar, warning them that they'd go after their associates next time before carving a star into their backs and letting them go. While imprisoned in Bolingbroke Penitentiary for murdering Marek McFly of the HOA over a heroin deal gone wrong, Edgar and Cesar were cornered by HOA member Wade Wilson, who said, "TJ sends his regards," before shooting Cesar to death in front of Edgar. Edgar's Rosabel † tried to seek out the Hotel, run by TJ and Michael Simone, to hire an assassin to kill Wade Wilson. Shang Liu, a BBMC prospect she loved, kidnapped her for TJ Walker because they thought she had been digging into the Hotel for Edgar. Rosabel looked out at the sea before Shang shot her a dozen times in the head, killing her. Unbeknownst to TJ and Shang, Michael had planned on killing her if they hadn't. Edgar began recruiting a crew to go after his enemies, including the BBMC, finding willing mercenaries in OTT's Brouge Street Kingz. He gave them Pythons given to him by Benji, who had offered him millions for his war as long as he left Seaside alone. The Simones, convinced Edgar was hunting them, barricaded themselves and their allies in their mansion. Edgar and BSK descended upon Vespucci shot down the BBMC in their turf. They put Vice Prime Minister Collin McKinley into ICU the and finally dispatched of Sg Liu to avenge his murder of Rosabel. The BBMC worked with Michael Simone to hotdrop onto Seaside Tower to kidnap Edgar to a snowy mountainside. There he finally met the leader of the BBMC, Prime Minister Barry Benson. Edgar told Barry he regretted that they never worked together and said he had avenged Rosabel. He told Michael Simone that he had given his word to Benji that he wouldn't touch a Simone. Barry explained to Edgar that the BBMC weren't the good guys and didn't have to justify their actions against perceived threats. Barry let Edgar smoke one last cigarette before flying Edgar to Sanguine Isle, twhichhe had long dreamt of owning,and dropping him onto the snow-covered villa...leaving him for dead. Afterward, Michael had a falling out with Benji over it and both Simone brothers left Seaside. |

Edgar Reunited with his Friend, Bobby Beldrum who helped him fight the BBMC (now the ADMC) 5 years ago avenging his Fiance's Death, Rosabel. He finds out that Bobby is a part of a different BBMC led by Irwin Dundee. Edgar was then told by Jayna Pierce who was pushing weed outside of the Billabong, That the current BBMC is completely different from what it was 5 years ago. That BBMC is now the ADMC. Edgar told Bobby that he wanted to start The Hotel again, A secret organization led by TJ Walker and his close allies. It was a Document that had multiple names of Government officials and Police Officers with a Bounty attached to each of them. TJ gave Edgar a job from this document 5 years ago until Edgar and his cousin's name was on it one day. He wants to Bring this back and keep it exclusive from any gang involvement as it once was, A separate entity in itself. |

When Benicio arrived in Los Santos, He reunited with his older Cousin Edgar. After Benicio heard stories about his older brother Cesar and Edgar's ventures they had with "Tio" Benji back in the day, Edgar decided to introduce Benicio to Benji Ramos. Arranging the meet up over the phone, they arrive at the clothing store. Raymond Romanov was with Benji in the store who does not trust Edgar at all. Benicio tried cracking a joke about Benji's celibacy, one thing led to another and Benicio was shot in the foot by Benji as a warning. Edgar tried to save his little cousin, because of the PTSD of losing Cesar Delgado 5 years ago, he instinctively grabbed a weapon and tried saving Benicio from Raymond who was standing on top of downed Benicio with a baseball bat in hand. Which resulted in Edgar getting shot as well. Benji felt very bad and quickly took both Edgar and Benicio to the Hospital. Raymond robbed Edgar of his gun and any weapon he had after he was shot down, thinking he would retaliate. Edgar assured Raymond and Benji that he would never pull a gun on Benji, but he cannot say the same for Raymond. This resulted in an awkward situation for Benji and the old Seaside members in Hades that were close to Edgar. |

 Friends forever  Their final moments After returning Edgar had only been back in the city for a couple days when the then mayor Nino Chavez introduced him to Aaliyah. At that time Aaliyah was still working as a DOC guard shortly after Al Saab had left the city leaving her essentially alone. Edgar quickly grew to like and admire Aaliyah for her ability to think outside the box and continually progress towards her goal. A couple weeks later Edgar had come to consider Aaliyah as one of his closest friends and business partners when the downfall of Aaliyah started. At their next reunion Aaliyah informed Edgar of her misfortune. Aaliyah had been stealing guns from inmates and government workers with the intention to sell on the black market. However one day Justice Bailey had caught on to her scheme and demanded she be searched. A stolen weapon was found on her possession and in a panic she fled the scene to her apartment to conceal her cache of stolen goods. Unfortunately she had been in such a hurray that she forgot that she was still wearing the DOC tracking equipment, at which point the police intercepted her as she exited the apartment building. Having found another 7 stolen weapons the police now used this as justification to raid her other properties one of which was a massive warehouse housing the The Manor's weed growing operation. The result of this fallout meant that the warehouse was now frozen to be auctioned and Aaliyah was facing life in prison and a 1.6 Million dollar fine. With both the police and The Manor now hunting for Aaliyah she turned to Edgar for help. Any reasonable person would distance themselves from this mess but Edgar having experienced a similarly hopeless situation in the past stepped in to guide his friend. Edgar first instructed her to confront The Manor directly before they find her which proved to be good advice as this action likely saved her from the The Manor's wrath. With the slow mechanism of the law working in the background life went on and both Edgar & Aaliyah continued to support and advise each other in their business ventures. A few months later the court date was set and the tight grip of the law started to form around Aaliyah's throat again. Once again Aaliyah approached Edgar whom she had learned to rely on. Many crazy and gruesome options for escape where discussed but after a vigorous debate the pair decided the only realistic option was to fake Aaliyah's death. To achieve this Edgar enlisted the help of his gang Tripas and after kidnapping Naya the then old lady of BBMC's VP Rusty to operate on Aaliyah and fake the autopsy documentation, the mission was a success; Aaliyah got away and the marshals believed her to be dead. During this time Aaliyah hidden in Tripas facilities until she could recover. Having escaped the government, Edgar organised a solo meeting with SK the leader of The Manor inside the Tripas HQ so that Aaliyah could finally get closure on this chapter of her life. To Edgar's surprise Aaliyah used this opportunity to berate and slander SK for his behaviour during this entire fiasco. This upset Edgar and other members of Tripas as they saw it that Aaliyah had used the military strength of Tripas in order to put SK at a disadvantage. This led to Aaliyah being evicted from the house while SK swore that next time he saw her he would kill Aaliyah. Edgar was now placed in an extremely difficult position as his heart did not want to abandon Aaliyah to her fate but his gang and his obligations demanded that he at the very least separate from her. After introspection Edgar realised that he could never abandon Aaliyah and would always be compelled to protect of avenge her. The crew had already questioned Edgar's commitment to Tripas; this along with his blood oath to the gang drove him to execute Aaliyah using the same scorpion he used to fake her death. Edgar being a very superstitious man believed that a blood oath carried serious repercussions if not upheld which compelled him to the point that he would even execute one of his closest friends. Later Aaliyah was confirmed to be actually dead. This however is not the end of the Edgar & Aaliyah story as this decision would continue to plague Edgar's soul to the point of madness and desperation to revive the person he should never have killed. |

The Faceless organisation was also one of the masterminds behind the death of Rosabel Briar/3.0 and Cesar Delgado/3.0. After a couple months of being back in the city The Faceless approached Edgar for a job to retrieve information from Dr Asher Murphy that a mercenary group had stolen after a interaction at the Humane Labs and Research facility. Since then Edgar has repeatedly done missions for this organisation including transporting of Nuclear bombs and the execution and torture of many people suspected of being leaks. |

Confinement Property[]
| Edgar was placed under temporary house arrest following the multiple murder charges against him, confined to his residence under strict surveillance and heavy restrictions on his movements.
The property was provided by Delver Lee the "landlord". The home consists of 7 rooms which Edgar chose the 5th. Lang Buddha became a shared resident of the same home with Edgar. Lang choosing the last room #7 at the end of the hall. Windsong and Happy being part of the management and construction team. Cursed Bloodline[]
A very long time ago, on a mysterious island, a deal was made with a witch named Delilah, who was The Brujah of Guarma, she would oversee the entire island. People would come to the island for vacations, to have a good time, and then leave the island. But, if they wanted to remain, a deal had to be struck and it was always a dangerous one. No two deals were the same, but all came at a heavy cost.

For Edgar’s family, the price was a blood sacrifice. The aftermath was horrific. People dying in unspeakable ways, it was as gruesome as one can imagine, heads put on stakes, skin stretched and painted on like a canvas. Many people died on a scale comparable to that of a plague. In return, Edgar’s family was granted riches, a castle. Everything they could ever desire was given. But there was one catch: they could never leave the island. If they did, the witch’s curse would unleash horrors beyond their imagination.
As the years passed, Edgar's cousin Cesar, grew determined to ensure nothing terrible happened to Edgar. When Cesar left to protect Edgar, though, things went horribly wrong. In a tragic twist, Cesar gave his life to save Edgar, and the curse of The Delgado family was sealed forever. Edgar survived, but Cesar’s death meant The Delgado bloodline was bound to the island, unable to escape the witch’s power.

Edgar’s family has gone through the most. They were the richest of the 4 kings (Edgar, Delgado, Sebas, and Candycane); no one would ever dare to mess with them.
Edgar is the most cursed out of all of them from the island. Edgar's little cousin Benicio Delgado, as a child, had been told to stay away from Edgar. The curse was dangerous, and it was better not to get involved. But Cesar hated the idea, and Benicio, following his brother’s lead, hated it too. They didn’t understand the full weight of the curse back then, but they knew Edgar’s life was forever marked by it.

January 10, 2026. After volunteering to donate a lung to save Edgar, Daniel made the arrangement with Hassan. During the procedure, Edgar survived, but Daniel did not. Daniel died facing acute respiratory failure followed by cardiac arrest.

 In the end Edgar chose too save his soul and that of AK & Aaliyah by refusing to sacrifice Sonya Summers and instead accepting his fate in purgatory. Ritual Sacrifices[]
Bruce Baylor[]
Contemplating on whether or not to kill or be on good terms with Bruce Baylor. Edgar had been holding onto Bruce's weapons for his gun dealing business or a while, Bruce asked for it back. Due to Bruce's treacherous behavior towards Aaliyah when she was still alive along with other actions Edgar disliked from him. Edgar and some of his friends kidnapped Bruce and took him to mount gordo lake and confronted him about it. After a long conversation with him, Edgar took his machine gun and shot him multiple times on film to advertise an armory business for her. They then drove to the lighthouse where Edgar laid out Bruce's unconscious, bleeding body to the front of the lighthouse as a sacrifice for Norman Bones. Serving him the offering of "the wealthiest man in Los Santos".
Charles Danger[]
While Edgar had snuck into the morgue of the hospital to take Aaliyah Court's body, there were a few people there at the hospital, Edgar skeptical if the people there spotted what was happening, decided to kidnap one of the people there named Charles Danger along with the mans friend, Patrick Desseault. Edgar and his crew then drove to the lighthouse, forced the two to get out of the car and stand at the edge of the cliff. Edgar asked both of them who is willing to die. Both of them vouching to take the bullet, Edgar then shot Charles as Patrick yelled and screamed at the top of his lungs in extreme agony for his friend being shot. Edgar swam, dragging Charles's body to the lighthouse as he pleaded out to Norman Bones after bringing the offering of an innocent man to his doorstep.

Judgebo Button[]
January 7th, 2025: A "snack" for Norman Bones. As Edgar's pondering at the lighthouse, he gets a random call from someone named Judgebo, wanting to speak to him in person about his judge campaign. Judgebo insisted on meeting Edgar despite him telling him he's currently at the lighthouse.
Judgebo arrives by driving his car over the cliff and landing it into the lighthouse where Edgar was standing. Unknowingly disrespecting the place, "this place is sacred you fucker, why did you bring this car here?!" Judgebo seemingly unaware of the significance, attempts to fix the situation by attempting to move the car from the lighthouse, but it's stuck. Edgar becoming more angry tells him "you need to figure something out this is a sacred alter and you have just defiled it".
The tension escalates as Edgar demands to know why Judgebo wanted to meet, leading the man to explain that he’s running for judge and lighten the mood about his unconventional campaign ideas. Edgar again tells Judgebo that he defiled the alter of death. The conversation is filled with more tension as Edgar is increasingly furious. Beric Johnson who was with Judgebo shouting from below, apologizing on his behalf for his foolish actions. Edgar walks over to Judgebo and pulls out his gun, pointing it at Judgebo, "COME FORWARD YOU FUCKER" "You asked how you can make this right after ruining the situation and the sanity of this place. You have dishonored it.".
Judgebo pleading for another way to make the situation right as Edgar isn't having it. All he can see it red. "You can scrub the place clean... with your blood" Judgebo pleading "no no no maybe not with blood" as Edgar continues, "blood washes out dishonor" symbolizing the severity of his actions.
Edgar tells the man "look at this mockery you turned this in", "i want to shoot you in the belly button... cut your guts open and put them on display..." as Judgebo shifts the topic, Edgar shoots him, sacrificing Judgebo as an offering. Edgar shouting to Norman about granting time and leaving Norman "a little snack", The blood of a state official. "Maybe Noxee can poke out his eyeballs as well." He violently kicks the mans teeth in and leaves.
