Background[]
Echo Gray moved from California to Los Santos after leaving a social media management job. Her father is a software engineer and her mother is a stay-at-home mom. Echo's sentiment that people are too needy has historically led to commitment issues. Echo also gives people tarot card readings.
Echo went to Middle School and High School with Asher Brooks, Marek McFly, Taryn Adler, Katie Adler, and Rowan in California. They've been friends for over 10 years. The friend group have a famous group chat where they tell each other everything that's going on in their lives.
History[]
Echo Gray started out in Los Santos as a trainee at UwU Café and worked her way up to Assistant Floor Manager. She befriended Wade Wilson, Corey Graves, and her UwU Café co-worker Brady Johnston. Echo eventually chose Brady as her boyfriend, but after awhile broke up with him. Wade introduced Echo to the HOA and got her a bartending job at the Liquid Library.
Echo's Disappearance[]
After Corey's girlfriend Dr. Annie Omen left him, she began officially dating Echo on August 6, 2023. Corey kidnapped Echo and held her hostage for four days, finally shooting her and leaving her on a beach where Annie and Wade found her. Weeks later when Echo confronted Corey that she planned to marry Annie, Corey shot her in the head and left her for dead. Although Echo suffered long-term amnesia and forgot Annie, Annie took care of her until her memory could return.
The Murder of Dr. Jeffy Coldiron[]
On September 15, 2023 inside of Forever Inked with Echo watching, Dr. Jeffy Coldiron yelled at Annie over Echo's death threat to Basil Barbera for endangering his girlfriend Shirley Lemons' life with negligent driving and a reckless friend group. Afterward, Echo radioed to Wade how much she wanted to shoot Jeffy in the head for screaming at Annie. Wade responded, "I'm killing him." Echo replied, "Ok." Wade (dressed as Wanda) approached Jeffy and his adopted daughter Dr. Rosabel Briar, announced "Welp, it's your time asshole," and shot Jeffy twice in the head with a silenced gun. Following emergency surgery, Jeffy died from his injuries in the ICU room.
Engagement to Annie Omen[]
Once Echo's memory began to stabilize, she asked Annie to marry her with Wade and their other close friends around to witness. They were officially engaged on October 6, 2023. Then in a plea agreement with Det. Eryn Carter to protect Echo and Annie, Wade pleaded guilty to Jeffy's murder and went to prison for 15 years.
The Murder of Cesar Delgado[]
On November 30, 2023, Edgar Del Castillo and his cousin Cesar Delgado fatally shot Echo's good friend Marek McFly at the Davis Quartz quarry because Edgar believed he had set up Rosabel Briar (Edgar's fiancé) for Echo to shoot her in the head at the lighthouse. Edgar told Marek to warn Echo that Edgar's coming for her next. Wade Wilson, Rod Long, Lavante Lamano, Asher Brooks, and Echo kidnapped Rosabel to bait Edgar and Cesar to the Mirror Park dam. Edgar (still with the hot gun), Cesar, and four guns-for-hire from The Saints pushed the dam and successfully rescued a downed Rosabel. However, the police caught Edgar and Cesar and held them until trial for Marek's murder. Taryn Adler grappled into Bolingbroke Penitentiary with guns to grab the duo with inmates Wade and Asher. In the prison showers, Wade stated, "TJ sends his regards," before shooting Cesar to death in front of Edgar. Taryn and Wade then shot up Edgar, and Asher cut his ear off. Inside of the prison hospital with the lockdown sirens blaring, Edgar grieved over Cesar's dead body.
Endings[]
On December 11, 2023, Wade Wilson wound up in the ICU from a gunfight where he and Taryn Adler shot down their enemies Lt. Anita May and her wife Cadet Nadia Valentine. Asher Brooks (disguised in scrubs) and Echo (the pickup driver) rescued Wade from the ICU (Wade was cuffed to the bed and had to break his wrist to free himself). Annie Omen treated a mute Wade for the ricin that Dr. Alexander Bones had poisoned him with. Echo helped Wade hunt their long-time enemy Cpl. Eryn Carter next. Echo got shot down after gunning down Cpl. Eryn by her Paleto house. The police arrested her and a downed Wade. Wade got 30 years in prison for breaking his parole. Annie, Asher, Echo (who still had her weapons license), and Taryn hunted Dr. Bones for poisoning Wade. The Hidden kidnapped Echo to Mount Gordo, where Taylor Briggs (from UwU Café) shot her down to avenge his "sister" Cpl. Eryn. Echo survived with a gnarly face scar.
Echo moved to California with Annie Omen, Wade Wilson Taryn Adler, and Asher Brooks.
