Duke Ramsey is the Chamberlain of the Raiders MC, and was once the Old Lady of the club's President Darcy Lane. He was formerly an Attending Doctor and Therapist for the Los Santos Medical Group.
Duke's Raiders MC Old Lady kutte showed his then-wife Lane's lipstick kiss patch, an eagle patch, a "do harm" matching skull doctor patch with Veronica Calaway, a Picking Flowers Patch given by Lane, a red "SNAKE" side rocker, and "Y.C.I.C" spray painted on the back (acronym for "You Call I Come").

Before moving to Los Santos, Duke was a firefighter and EMT with the Armed Forces.
Living in the Historical District of Los Santos, Duke got his start as a hangaround with the Ballas. He mainly worked to sell joints and lock picks for the gang at the Forum Drive Gas Station. When the population collapse occurred, Duke and two other hangarounds ended up taking the mantle of co-leadership. Eventually this lead to Duke taking the mantle of leader while remaining clean. The group eventually moved out of the Southside and rebranded as a group named Skyline.
To remain clean, Duke worked as Head of Security at PDM, and was given the 2nd gun license by Maisy Graves, and later as a legal aid at the behest of Elizabeth Remington.
Post collapse of the Historical District, Duke was encouraged to apply to work at the hospital by friend, and fellow Historical District refugee Alexander Bones.

  The Raiders MC on Chumash Pier on July 6, 2024 Around the middle of 2024, Staff Doctor Duke Ramsey befriended the Raiders MC--a 1% outlaw motorcycle club based in Chumash--and often provided them with medical supplies. On July 5, 2024, Raiders MC co-founder Mason Calaway first proposed making Duke a "club doctor" and clean face--but the Raiders MC President Darcy Lane did not believe in having shadow members. Duke's good friend, Raiders MC Enforcer Rue Day, also brought up Duke's interest in being a clean face during their July 24, 2024 chapter meeting--and although Lane considered transferring ownership of their Chumash laundromat to him, she ultimately believed that clean faces should never join the club. Lane also sharply rejected an idea by Rue and Patched Member Wally West to make a new role for Duke where he could wear a kutte and attend chapter meetings, counterarguing that Raiders must always wear their kuttes loudly or not at all. |

  Rue and Wally gunning down hangaround Bev and two BCSO officers at the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office on August 4, 2024   Lane and Rue were secret lovers in a relationship that directly violated a club rule mandating that one of them must demote themselves to Old Lady status. But Lane's love for Rue soured when she impulsively gunned down Lane's ex-husband Beverly Brekker on August 4, 2024, for making Lane cry by sneaking off to fraternize with BCSO officers. During transplant surgery for a new artificial lung and heart for Bev on August 6, 2024, Duke successfully placed both the artificial lung and artificial heart in Bev's chest cavity--but couldn't get the synthetic heart to start and had to put the old heart back in. Afterward in the ICU with Lane at Bev's bedside, he flatlined. Duke failed to resuscitate him and called his time of death at 8:55pm EST. For the autopsy report, Duke downplayed the Raiders MC involvement in it and controversially attributed the death to natural causes due to heart failure--saving an inconsolable Lane from a murder charge when she falsely confessed to Bev's shooting to atone for it. Although Bev's grieving friend Mickey Sinclaire convinced medical intern Dr. Celine Jaxx to perform "Autopsy Round 2", she similarly concluded that Bev's cause of death was a "Failed Heart Transplant" and that the manner of death was "Accidental". Duke warned Lane that the police had questioned him three different times at MRPD about Bev's autopsy. Chief of Police Daisy Moss and Snr. Officer Loki Skylizard emphasized that Duke's statements would be the difference between second degree murder and attempted second degree murder for Rue. Also despite Duke's denial that his autopsy findings misrepresented the truth, the police began scrutinizing his relationship to the Raiders MC. Lane affirmed to Duke that she considered Bev's death a murder. But Duke affirmed his belief that Bev was actually killed by a freak accident, i.e., the artificial heart failing to start.   The Raiders MC admitting insomniac Rue into the care of Duke on August 14, 2024 Slowly dying from a week's worth of insomnia and soul-crushing guilt over all of the hurt she caused Lane and the Raiders MC by killing Bev, Rue kept reacting to someone who wasn't there, held onto a gun for protection from whoever was haunting her, and refused to relinquish it to the club. Fearing that sleep-deprived Rue had given up on life, the Raiders MC admitted her into the care of Duke on August 14, 2024 for a 72-hour hold--and conspired for Wally to grab the gun off her once she finally slept. |

Still hurt that Rue had killed Beverly Brekker and admitted to not regretting it, Lane subconsciously felt like they didn't deserve to be happy and kept cheating on her--using sex with other people to punish herself. Having failed to have sex with Hades co-leader Benji Ramos (he kept passing out and they ended up just watching "Star Wars" together), she had sex with Duke and later with her heroin connect Dalton in Las Vegas. Having told Duke she loved him, Lane came clean about all of it to her Raiders MC Vice President Wade Wilson on September 3, 2024. Wade forecasted that nobody in the club would let Lane step down as President to become Rue's Old Lady, and worried that Rue would snap over Lane cheating on her with Duke (and hurt him in violation of the club rule that protects Raiders' loved ones from each other). Lane wanted to come clean with the club, but Wade felt like the Raiders MC wouldn't follow him if she stepped down. She added that Mason had been threatening Duke over his relationship with Lane.   Rue's attempted murder of her own President Lane on September 9, 2024 In a fateful private conversation with Rue on September 9, 2024 on the Sonar Collections Dock, Lane finally confessed that she tried to cheat on her with Benji and that she was now in love with Duke. Rue felt manipulated just like Lane's past ex-girlfriends, and accused her of lying that she loved her. After finally admitting that their relationship changed ever since Rue killed Bev, Lane called herself a coward and confirmed she was letting go of Rue. Declaring "You don't get to fucking leave me," Rue fractured Lane's skull with a wrench and tossed her off the dock into the water without her phone. Rue texted Wade, "She left me". Retired Raiders MC Prospect Georgia Priestly spotted a dying Lane in critical condition in the ER, getting treated by Dr. Beatrice Merzhin for a severe head wound and for water in the lungs. Wade and Georgia waited nervously as Duke (with Beatrice assisting) clutched out the surgery, successfully screwing a plate into her indented skull and fixing her broken ribs. Although Rue was on Lane's emergency contact list, Duke knew the two of them had been talking and ordered Rue be trespassed from the hospital. Wade swore that if Rue hurt her she's going to be killed. Mason admitted that Rue's archnemesis Alice Omen was right that Rue would burn down the Raiders MC, and vowed to kill her before that happened. Duke reminded Lane of something they agreed upon when she successfully ran up a hill, that she's really strong. Raiders MC Prospect James Callahan guarded a comatose Lane in the ICU. Wade removed Rue's access to the Raiders MC's storage and club money.   Duke notified acting President Wade that Rue was texting him vitriol. But because Rue didn't remember hurting Lane and didn't have her missing phone, Wade didn't feel certain enough of Rue's guilt to blood her out--and exiled her from the city instead on September 11, 2024. Wade promised to kill her if she ever stepped one foot back into Los Santos. His decision polarized the club. In the Central Los Santos Medical Center on September 12, 2024, the Raiders MC nervously waited for the results of Duke's extremely high-risk pacemaker surgery on Lane. To the relief of Lane's loved ones, Duke announced that she'll recover. Lane woke up in the ICU on September 13, 2024. Traumatized by her near-fatal head injury and the nightmare of her current reality, Lane always felt like she was dreaming and repeatedly used Duke as her "totem". She eventually became convinced that she had never woken up after Rue injured her brain, and that the real Duke was trying to wake her up. |

Duke and Lane unofficially married on September 20, 2024.   On October 23, 2024, Mason shot Raiders MC enemy Fenyx Fahey (for bad-mouthing Mason's newlywed wife Veronica Calaway) and barred both Alice Omen and ADMC High Command Shang Liu from visiting Fenyx in the ICU. When Shang and the ADMC pressed the Raiders in Chumash and asked Lane and Mason to be unbarred, Mason fake-agreed and called the doctor to double-down on the barring instead. In response, Shang (who blamed Duke for tipping off the Raiders), Finn Milton, and JT kidnapped Duke to the oil fields, interrogated him, and looked through his burner phone. After condemning Duke for being the man whom Lane cheated on Rue with, Finn slashed Duke's throat, carved "SNAKE" into his chest, and shot him several times. Duke's best friend, ADMC Patched Member Ivy Grayson, crashed out over Shang doing that without telling her.   New ADMC Hangaround Alice helping them shoot down Wade, V, and James on October 28, 2024 Despite the Raiders MC precedent against going to war for loved ones, the club rallied around Duke against the ADMC. Lane gave a club order to formally blood out Shang's closest loved one, Alice, from the Raiders MC at their next available opportunity (but Alice stayed at the ADMC Block with her friend Ivy for protection from them). On October 25, 2024, Shang's ADMC war party successfully stormed Chumash. The next day, the exiled Rue Day twatted that if Duke dies, she's the one who did it. On October 27, 2024, a Raiders MC war convoy unsuccessfully counter-attacked the ADMC's home block. In the final day of war on October 28, 2024, Alice helped the ADMC shoot down Wade, Veronica, and James Callahan at Big Ouch. Per an agreement to end the war, Lane apologized to Shang for her pettiness in being the one to order Mason to bar him from the ICU; and Wade gave the ADMC $50,000. Afterward, Shang ordered the ADMC to stop taunting the Raiders MC for awhile to let things mend.   Rue shooting Duke on December 5, 2024     Duke gave Lane a double barreled shotgun for her 27th birthday. On the night of her birthday on November 30, 2024, Duke got called into the hospital and got kidnapped by Rue. Rue texted Lane "Breath on your neck, eyes in the dark" from his phone, matching the same text that Rue had texted Lane earlier. In a secret location on December 5, 2024 where Rue had been torturing Duke, she lied that Lane hadn't texted him in five days, condemned him for abusing Rue's trust, taunted him with the Picking Flowers Patch Lane had gifted to him (to sew onto his future Old Lady kutte), left a polaroid photo of her and Lane next to him, broke and pried off a finger, and quipped "Say hi to my grandma," before leaving. Rue called Duke's best friend Ivy Grayson from his phone to taunt her; then called 911 for him. After Rue drove to north Chumash and shot up Big Ouch, Wade pursued her in his Caracara and shot her car until she crashed. Following through on his threat to kill her if she ever came back to Los Santos, he shot her down; then drove her to the Sonar Collections Dock and pinged Lane there. A dying Rue professed her love for Lane, and admitted to watching her. Mason and James brought a speedboat for Lane to take Rue out to sea. Rue requested that Lane be the one to kill her, adding that she wanted Lane to be the last thing she ever saw. Lane admitted she wished they had never come to Los Santos, and Rue agreed they should have stayed in California. Lane declined Rue's offer to run away together. They affirmed their love for each other. In response to Rue's final words of "I would do anything with you," Lane replied, "I would do anything with you," before fatally shooting Rue in the head and dropping her in the open water. Rue was pronounced deceased at 11:46 p.m. PST / Los Santos time in the hospital. Duke suffered severe nerve and tendon damage in his hands. While the Raiders MC were visiting him in the ER, they overheard the autopsy on Rue. |

  Duke formally requesting to become a Raiders MC Old Lady on December 15, 2024 In the Raiders MC chapter meeting on December 15, 2024, Duke formally requested the honor of becoming an Old Lady of the Raiders MC. The club went in a circle asking him questions and voicing their opinions. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 6-0 to blood him in (V got to vote) as their second-ever Old Lady of their club, with two required votes still outstanding. The next day, Patched Members Faraday Murphy and an unenthusiastic Flynn Bobarge both voted yea to blood in Duke as an Old Lady. Some time later, a jealous Benji Ramos blew up Duke with a grenade, and a Hades guy branded "BR" on Duke's forearms.   The Raiders MC blooding in Duke as their second Old Lady on January 7, 2025 During the snowy Paleto coast ceremony officiated by Wade on January 7, 2025 to blood Duke into the Raiders MC as their second-ever Old Lady, he stood in a circle of candles lined by Wade, Lane, James Callahan, Rylee Kenwood, Faraday Murphy, Mason Calaway, and Veronica Calaway. Duke recited the Raiders MC's Old Lady vows, and exchanged custom vows with Lane. For the ritual, Lane joined Duke in the circle. They both drank snake venom wine from a chalice. James tied a rope onto Duke's left arm, and Lane lit it on fire with a lighter. The rope burned Duke's arm before finally falling to the ground. Wade concluded the ceremony welcoming Duke into the Raiders MC. The club came across BCSO Sgt. Kian McNulty, who had been spying and snapping pictures of the Old Lady ceremony thinking it was a cult ritual. Afterward, Duke tried on the Raiders MC Old Lady kutte for the first time. He also attended his first Raiders MC meeting in the chapter room.   Duke's first cash exchange heist with the Raiders MC during his suspension from the hospital on March 10, 2025   The Raiders MC shocked to see Beverly Brekker back from the dead in Chumash on March 12, 2025   The police breaching the Raiders MC's sixth cash exchange heist of the week on March 15, 2025 Duke openly wore his Raiders MC kutte to work at the hospital, and continued to provide medical supplies to the club. But due to his two criminal trials for pushing weed in Chumash and for shooting Ember Quinn (as revenge for the murder of Alexander Bones), the hospital suspended Duke. He also got shot down and arrested in a Raiders MC cash exchange heist on March 15, 2025 when the police breached on Sgt. Wade Bradford's orders because LSPD PPO Orabelle Winchester had radio'ed that Mason wasn't pointing his gun at either hostage. Finally on March 17, 2025, Duke got fired from the hospital with an indefinite warrant and $275,000 fine as a result of the "guilty" summary judgement against him for all of the charges. Having come back from the dead as a cyborg (and blaming Duke for his death), Beverly Brekker convinced Lane on March 18, 2025 to finally get a brain scan with Duke. Dr. Beatrice Merzhin's CT scan showed scarring on the prefrontal cortex, low swelling, and some atrophy in the general area of the temporal lobe. It explained Lane's symptoms of always feeling like she's dreaming.   The Raiders MC posing with the new kuttes on March 31, 2025 At the Chumash clothing store on the night of March 31, 2025, Rylee Kenwood, James, Faraday, V, and Duke stylized their kuttes with new patches and Lane's spray paint. Having no-showed at his second court case that day, Duke was riding with Lane on his motorbike when a police unit spotted him--leading the police and Air-1 to chased him for his warrant. The Raiders MC played hot potato with him during a 40-minute police chase that finally ended once the police mistakenly chased James' Draugur instead of Wade's smoking club Draugur.   Marshal Ray Lee escorting EMT Flynn after he, EMS Chief Vivi, paramedic Roux, and Old Lady Duke got shot down in a wild gunfight between the Raiders MC and EMS at the CMC on April 15, 2025 The police eventually caught Duke for his two indefinite warrants (the second one being for illegally distributing medical supplies). Shortly after on April 15, 2025, the Raiders MC's beef with blooded-out EMT Flynn Bobarge wildly escalated in the ambulance bay of the Crusade Medical Center. EMS Chief Geneviève Toussaint had reluctantly phoned Duke and invited the Raiders MC to meet there. Having been alerted about the meeting beforehand by Vivi, San Andreas State Marshals Field Director Craig Barrett had half a dozen Marshals in the vicinity for overwatch. Lane, Wade, Wally West, and Marty Holiday met with Vivi, EMT Flynn, and paramedic Luke Roux in the emergency lane of the hospital. Vivi protested Lane's stipulation to meet elsewhere on Raiders terms, i.e., off-duty with no police. After Lane threatened to keep attacking EMS until that happened, she got back in the Draugur. Wade shot Roux in the head as a message. When Wade, Wally, and Marty turned to leave, both Vivi and Flynn pulled out guns (despite the EMS SOPs against carrying guns on-duty). Vivi shot Lane--the only Raider there not holding a gun--while she was still sitting in the Draugur. The Raiders immediately gunned Vivi down. At the southwest corner of the hospital where Duke was waiting on his motorbike for the meeting to end, Flynn opened fire on him--forcing Duke to reload his Deagle and return fire. Duke shot down Flynn, and LSPD Officer Louis Brickston (who had been trying to provide overwatch for Vivi from an RC car) gunned down Duke. Vivi and Flynn wound up in the ICU, their gunshot residue washed off from receiving medical. The police helped the Marshals chase the Raiders after their smoking Draugur went into the ocean, and disregarded a controversial Marshal order to proactively shoot fleeing suspects just because they were wearing a Raiders kutte. The police caught Lane, Wade, Wally, Marty, and motorbike driver Mason. A downed Lane warned Violet Waters that now's the time to quit EMS. The Marshals interrogated Marty and Duke, and noted that four different Raiders had corroborated the same story that EMS fired first. Field Director Barrett jailed Lane and Wade on 72-hour investigative holds for a terrorism charge. Wally, Mason, and Marty received 24-hour investigative holds. Marshal Krystal Bordier released Duke without any charges. V and Faraday Murphy cleaned out the Chumash houses in case of a raid. Duke pressed charges against Flynn. After initially scoffing at the Raiders defense that the EMS fired first, the Marshals were forced to start investigating EMS because of the forensic evidence of two different 1911 handguns on the scene--one belonging to Vivi and one belonging to Flynn. On the night of April 23, 2025, investigation head Marshal Ray Lee and Marshal Krystal Bordier separately interviewed Flynn and Vivi (both represented by Atty. Robin Ferrara, Esq.). Flynn claimed that Wade shot at him and that Duke shot Flynn from behind, unaware that Ray had personally witnessed Flynn flanking Duke instead. Ray frowned upon Vivi's admissions that a) Vivi shot Lane in the Draugur despite her never pulling a weapon, and b) Vivi lived together with the anti-Raider eyewitnesses Brickston and Roux as friends. Despite both Flynn and Vivi trying to detail a pattern of violence from the Raiders MC, both Ray and Krystal did not see enough documented evidence to substantiate terrorism or serial assaults and killings--especially because the Raiders hadn't actually attacked Flynn or Vivi before the CMC shooting. Ray and Krystal also saw it as evidence tampering to rush Vivi and Flynn into treatments that would wash off their gunshot residue. |

In a big chapter meeting at the Chiliad viewpoint in Sandy Shores on June 9, 2025, Lane stated that the club is at a tipping point, and asked what they wanted for the future of the club. She had each club member answer one at a time apart from the rest of the group. Duke answered members being "club first", a united front, a reputation of respect and traditional MC values, making Chumash a social hub, more recruiting, and helping people with personal goals.   Duke granted a vote and promoted to Chamberlain on June 9, 2025 Back at the chapter room, Lane announced a shake-up where she, Wade Wilson, and Wally West promoted all Patched Members and Old Ladies into the historically vacant Command and Officer roles for a two-week trial period. Duke was granted a probationary vote (the highest honor for trusted Old Ladies), and assigned the probationary Command role of Chamberlain. The Raiders' other Old Lady Veronica Calaway was also granted a probationary vote, and assigned the probationary Command role of Chaplain. Outrider Rylee Kenwood was promoted to the probationary Command role of Warden, the second highest Command position. Patched Member Mason Calaway was promoted to the probationary role of Road Captain, the highest ranking Command position under High Command. Patched Member Faraday Murphy was promoted to the probationary Officer role of Enforcer, and Patched Member James Callahan was promoted to the probationary Officer role of Tail Gunner. Lane stipulated that the roles cannot be contested for two weeks, and that they can be voted out of the position with majority approval after that. In the first week of the club shake-up, the new Command and Officer members were immediately tested by two emergency situations. First on June 11, 2025, one of the Raiders' earliest Hangarounds Hank Marston sought asylum in Chumash because his tow crew had shot and pocket-wiped a Hound member. Having just gotten out of a war with the Hounds, Lane told Duke to let Hank hang out at Chumash--but stopped short of hiding or protecting him. Three Hounds came hunting for Hank (going by the fake name "Jordan") and even spoke to him at Chumash, but didn't recognize him. Then in Chumash on June 12, 2025, five ex-Saints members false-flagging in Mayhem kuttes trolled on Marty's motorbike. When Wally walked up with his gun out, they opened fire. The Raiders shot down and robbed four of them, and warned the other MCs about the group. Although the Raiders drove them to the hospital and Wade offered to return their possessions, the ex-Saints continued to camp and attack Raiders members until Wally returned their rifles. Having finally admitted her sleep disorder to the Raiders MC, Lane (and Allie) boarded a plane for Germany on August 1, 2025 to seek neurological treatment for Lane's brain trauma. Lane's half brother Dorian Darcy agreed to meet them in Germany while Duke might also fly in at some point. Early Friday morning on August 29, 2025, the doctors performed non-invasive brain surgery on Lane to increase blood flow to the atrophied part of her brain, as well as a prescription of hormones to regulate the brain chemistry imbalance causing her apathy. Given the limited motor function and slurred speech, she required physical therapy and speech therapy. Allie phoned Acting President Wade Wilson that Lane will need four weeks of recovery in Germany. When Wade informed Duke on October 16, 2025 that Lane (now discharged from the Germany hospital) will return to Los Santos next Friday for a gun drop, Duke doom spiraled that she was going to blood him out of the club when she returned (based on their disunity when she flew to Germany)--and binged tequila until he passed out from alcohol poisoning. Mason Calaway also told Veronica Calaway that he was failing her as a husband and wanted to end their marriage--but ultimately agreed to V's counterproposal to separate until the end of November. Once V left town to stay with the Bundys, Duke started handing out her pre-written de-escalatory letters (in case of divorce or separation) to the club.   Pilot "Daria Lahn" and passenger "Donner Mickey" at their crash-landed cargo plane with decoy cargo on October 24, 2025 On October 24, 2025, Wade, Wally, and Rylee narrowly managed to smuggle out Dorian Darcy and all of the illegal guns from the cargo ship while Lane and retired Raiders Chaplain Donna Michaelson kept the police distracted with their decoy cargo plane. Later that night, Lane admitted to Duke how hurt she felt that the entire club had betrayed her by voting Reina Vergara into the Raiders MC as Wally's Old Lady. Lane also confessed to Duke that she didn't love him the same way that she used to--but given the hypothetical choice between life as a Patched Member or death as her Old Lady, he reaffirmed the latter. During Lane's stay in Los Santos, she floated to Duke that she wanted to leave the Raiders MC--alarming him because he'd rather be blooded out than stay in the club without her. But Wade ultimately talked her down. Lane and Dorian departed back to Germany on October 27, 2025 so she could transfer to a California hospital for further cognitive therapy care (for her lingering long-term memory problems). |

Having broken up with Duke romantically to go back to sleeping with women, Lane got the blessing of him and Mason Calaway to sleep with the Old Lady he was divorcing, Veronica Calaway. Although Lane reaffirmed her non-romantic love for Duke and her desire to keep him as her Old Lady, she grew close enough to V where she wanted to adopt her as her Old Lady instead when Mason didn't want her as his Old Lady anymore. On November 23, 2025, Lane broke the news to Duke that she wanted him to take a patch. She explained that by adopting V as her Old Lady instead, it would solve the tensionship between two Patched Members which had previously resulted in Rue Day's death. Duke accused Lane of lying, and called her "Mason" for breaking her Old Lady promise just like he did. Lane rephrased that she didn't want to shoot Duke dead. When she reminded him that she wasn't in love with him anymore, he angrily agreed to take the patch and stormed off--but then phoned her with an apology and moved his stuff out of their apartment.   Sergeant At Arms Wally retiring from the Raiders MC on November 24, 2025   Sponsor Duke and Chaplain V patching Lotte into the Raiders MC on November 24, 2025 Lane secretly forewarned Mason that he was going to be blooded out for shooting at V's feet, cheating on her with Faraday Murphy, and too many other reasons to list. He fled his blood out and no-showed the chapter meeting on November 24, 2025, where Lane announced that he was stripped of his Founder status and no longer a member of the Raiders MC--summing up that she no longer trusted him to represent the club. The club unanimously voted 5-0 (Duke did not vote) to convert Duke from Lane's Old Lady to Patched Member. With Mason now gone, Chaplain V announced her decision to stay in the club as an Old Lady. The club unanimously voted 5-0 (V did not vote) to transfer V's Old Ladyship from Mason to Lane. Lane brought forward sponsor Duke's request to patch Prospect Lotte Breeze. The club unanimously voted 6-0 to patch Lotte in. The meeting concluded with retiring Sergeant At Arms Wally West and his Old Lady Reina West saying their tearful goodbyes. Afterward as Duke mourned the loss of the personalized Old Lady kutte he had been so proud of, he helped V patch Lotte into the club (giving Lotte her prospecting snake's broken fang as a necklace) and saw Reina off at the bond-breaking ceremony where she retired her Old Lady kutte. On the eve of Lane's 28th birthday on November 29, 2025, Duke was rushed into surgery after the police found him unconscious at the power plant near a blown-up propane tank. When Lane, Wade, Rylee, V, Benny Razer, and Flossie Grey visited Duke in the ICU, they learned that he had third degree burns, a concussion resulting in a brain bleed, and ruptured eardrums. Although officers weren't forthcoming with information, Rylee overheard one of them earlier mentioning a 911 from the power plant. Benny and Flossie volunteered to investigate for clues, and found "I'm sorry" written in blood at the spot where Duke was. Back at Chumash, both Lane and Wade privately suspected Wally given the "I'm sorry" clue, V's information that Duke never returned from his meeting with Wally, and Wally's own private admission to Lane that he had blamed Duke for the death of his best friend Rue Day. Although Lane had mixed feelings about the situation, Wade reminded her that he would have shot Duke just for the disrespectful way that he accepted his Raiders patch. Lane and Wade agreed to not ask Wally about it, and would only deal with the situation if Wally was confirmed to be the culprit. Newly-hired doctor Snoopy Sauce oversaw a comatose Duke's medical care, which included skin graft treatments. |
