Overview[]
Dow Jones is a South African-born Forex Trader that had to leave Cape Town South Africa due to his father making some bad business decisions trading the "Dow" during the American Elections in 2020. This was unfortunate as this was the same trading instrument that Dows father traded back in the 80's that made him a multimillionaire hence naming his son Dow Jones whom he also taught how to trade
After things went sour in Cape Town Dow fled to Los Santos where he wanted to start fresh and thats what he did. During his first week in Los Santos Dow was learning the ropes and doing things like Fishing, Hunting, Dodo deliveries etc to make a living. It wasnt long before he got caught up in House robberies in which he was quite good at until his luck ran out in Vinewood hills and he stepped out of the house only to face a few cops pointing guns at him. That was Dows very first arrest and criminal charge.
After a month or two in the city Dow reached out to Abdul AlRahim
for a Job as a Taxi Driver and was officially employed by Abdul on August 19 2021 and thats where Dow met lots of people in the city and heard many stories about whats happening in and around town. Dow took pride in his Yellow and Purple coloured taxi in which he received many compliments regarding the colour and how clean he always kept it.
He attended a South Side car wash one day and this is where he met Mando Thompson the OG ESB at the time, they spoke a little, Dow handed him some bands and rolls which he had no use for and Mando gladly took them off his hands, hugged him and said thank you, he told Dow he should pop in on Grove street sometime. It wasnt long before Dow was back into breaking houses and stealing chemical products for the Ballas and soon got the title "hangaround" Mando took a liking to Dow and started inviting him to the Meth lab where Mando taught Dow how to cook meth amongst other things. Soon Dow became a "Prospect" for the Ballas and met other ballas at the time like Yair Lamas Lucas "Wolfy" Frank Molly Rollin
Long story short, Dow started distancing himself from the Ballas after Mando was overrun by the others and stopped wearing Purple completely even selling his purple yellow taxi he was so known for. Dow started hanging out at the fishing spots again making friends with Jose Santanna and Heli and this Trio started doing Boosting Chopping and anything they could do to make some extra cash in the night time. The 3 of them were so bad at doing certain jobs they even named themselves the "Scuff Boyz"
Many months later Dows old friend Colson Rockefella lands in Los Santos and they start chopping cars left right and centre it was a grind they were good at and supplied many people in the city with materials, In the Interim Dow was growing weed in the hills despite of been bullied at the packing spots forced to buy other gangs weed he persisted at the growing and the slow selling of his weed called "Fibonacci Stonks" . Espinoz is one of the few cops that knows Dows a huge weed dealer and has busted Dow a few times.
One day Dow and Colson bump into OTT at Ottos Autos, have a good chat and exchange numbers. They eventually meet OTT in the South Side where OTT offers an Oppurtunity to buy BSKs meth and corner in Cypress with protection. This then leads to Dow becoming a BSK hanger round where he tells OTT he has a weed strain that can be the best in the city if he gets the chance to push it harder in the South side which OTT happily obliges too.
On the 27 February 2022 Dow was blooded in as an Official BSK member and the same week his weed rep hits the "Admired" status where baggies sell for $215 . He said it will be the number one strain in the south side and thats what happened, his journey as a BSK member continues...
