Donie O'Sullivan is a character role-played by HasanAbi. He is an investigative journalist with a large body and small head of tawny hair, whose trademark look consists of a white suit and friendly mutton chops.

Donie O'Sullivan arrived in Los Santos on December 15, 2028 instead of going to Tokyo. While Los Santos may not be Tokyo, Donie heard about the Los Santos collapse in the past five years and saw a valuable economic and social opportunity: he hoped to join up with (emerging) yakuza gangs to live out his dreams he learned existed through the 2005 videogame titled Yakuza. He was also very excited to use the public transit system in Los Santos.
He is a journalist, briefly working for Weazel News, and is very active on Twatter. His first investigation developed from a tip Spencer Smith gave him about The Sewers and its inhabitants. His next investigations revolved around the mayoral election, with Vivek Ramasquamy being his first candidate interviewee. After Donie spent the holiday season back home in Ireland, on January 4, 2024, Maximilian Thoroughbred became his second.
During Vivek’s uprising at Davis City Hall on January 6, 2024, Donie O'Sullivan revealed he was autistic.
