The Murder of Derek McNulty[]
On September 13th, 2022, Senior Deputy Edward "Moosebeard" Thatch responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at the Alta Street Apartments. Upon entering the apartment, Moosebeard found McNulty laying in a pool of his own blood in the bathroom and his apartment in disarray. McNulty was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, at which point Sheriff Kyle Pred ordered the launch of a full investigation. To this day, the matter of his death remains a mystery as it was discovered McNulty was an Federal Investigation Bureau Agent and possibly was collateral damage.
