General Description[]
Dee LinQ is an Officer for the Los Santos Police Department, Badge #455. The reason Dee picked #455 as his badge number is that it spells his name out, D is the 4th letter in the alphabet and E is the 5th.
Dee is an ex Balla prospect, during Dee's time in the Ballas Dee helped KTB establish themselves, through things like mentoring new members who joined, helping member learn how to make money, setting up heist jobs, pushing money through the gang, slinging weed, purchasing the Ballas first and only commercial property, and being Andre Tyson's ear around the changes he wanted to implement within KTB before his mysterious disappearance. After Andre had gone, the Ballas were in a really bad spot and decided to separate again, members were asked to pick between ESB and KTB, Dee picked ESB as he felt he could learn the most there, but ESB viewed Dee as a member of KTB and refused to allow him to join, Dee decided to leave the Ballas with this as joining KTB after picking ESB would have been spitting in Andre's face, something Dee would never do.
Dee also used to sell weed for The Manor, whilst also working quite closely with was was called MID, Manor Intelligence Division a specialised division aligned with what The Manor needed and wanted. Dee undertook a few different ops for them but ultimately it got disbanded by Spark Kane as the division was being led down a path he did not see fit for purpose.
After gang life Dee become a mechanic within the city, and spent a lot of him time in Big Tuna fixing and optimising cars for people, which led him to help officers with their cars, and often giving them advice so that they could save money and not get ripped off by others. During his time as a mechanic Dee worked for VDM meaning he would do a lot of repairs on LSPD cars due to the government led scheme.
Dee eventually spoke to Shiesty about becoming a cop, Dee and Shiesty knew one another through Dee's time as a gangster but also his time as a mechanic, often doing work on Shiesty's car, Dee also had an agreement with 4head to help him remove Shiesty's parts from his car, Dee never planned on going through with it, instead he saw it as a way to help protect Shiesty's car from the robbery. Another officer Dee got to know through his mechanic work was Hailey Maxwell, Dee often advised Maxwell on what parts she actually needed and provided a rough estimate on price should pay for each part. With Maxwell and Dee building a solid relationship, and Shiesty vouching for Dee, this led to Dee managing to secure a LSPD interview.
