Darcy Lane is a character role-played by itsjustasummerjob.
🏍️ General Description[]
Darcy Lane is the President of the Raiders MC. She goes by "Lane" or "Laney" because "Darcy" is derived from her abusive Chief of Police father Bill Darcy (Lane started a hit list of people who purposely called her "Darcy"). She maintains a deep-seated hatred of the police (and even ex-police) due to her father and all of the abuse and corruption she suffered in her past.
Lane struggles with an untreated bipolar disorder and a long history of drug addiction, both of which her club members repeatedly turn a blind eye to. During her manic highs, she tends to walk and run faster, pace, text in all caps, and/or become more disinhibited and more tempted by her darkest impulses (particularly if a Raider isn't monitoring her). Lane suffers a depressive state every other month or so, which can last anywhere from two days to several.
Lane is unlucky in love, and laments about a "curse" where every woman she sleeps with in Los Santos leaves the city forever. She also has a long history of sabotaging her own romantic relationships. Tragically, Lane broke her own rule against romantic relationships between club members--which had originally stemmed from her and Allie witnessing the violent destruction of a club because the then-President's husband, the then-Chaplain, had cheated on her with a prospect. Lane ended up cheating on her own Command member Rue Day with her friend Dr. Duke Ramsey as a self-punishment for Rue killing Lane's ex-husband Beverly Brekker in cold blood--resulting in Rue nearly killing Lane in a brutal attack and being permanently exiled from the Raiders MC as a consequence. By losing Rue, Lane concluded that she finally suffered and punished herself enough for killing Bev.
💀 Background[]
Darcy Lane was born to young unmarried parents in Tennessee who couldn't decide which last name to give her, so they gave her both of their last names. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a child, suffering bouts of mania and depression. She hated her abusive Chief of Police father Bill Darcy, and felt closer to her best friend Alice "Allie" Omen's mother than her own political activist mother Penelope Lane. Lane ran away from home at 16-years-old, and travelled with and hung around motor clubs for a long time. While town hopping at 18-years-old, Lane met an 18-year-old Beverly Brekker. Lane married him for one day in an agreement to rebel against his parents. She stayed friends with him following the annulment of their marriage.
At 19-years-old, Lane helped Allie kill her abusive ex-policeman stepfather to avenge his murder of Allie's mother (which Lane's father had helped him cover up). Allie's young half-brother Mason Calaway believed their Uncle Warner's cover story that he was the one who had shot Mason's father. Lane and Allie then bounced from town to town, leaving behind jobs and various girlfriends whom Lane ghosted--often having to skip town because of Lane's untreated bipolar disorder. They once skipped town because Lane's intoxicated driving resulted in a fatal hit-and-run accident. They also skipped town when Lane shot her enemy James (the best friend of her longest and most recent ex-girlfriend Meredith) half a dozen times during an argument during a manic episode, a murder which Lane has a recurring nightmare about.
Rue Day met and befriended Lane, a motel worker at the time, when she caught Lane stealing from her mini-bar. Rue's childhood had been scarred by her matriarch grandmother Ethyl Winkelfiddle, whose favorite daughter Sawyer had died giving birth to Rue. Ethyl considered Rue evil, and once tried to kill a 3-year-old Rue by burning down her house. Rue grew up in a motorcycle club called the "Raiders MC", founded in the 1970s by the people who raised her. They originally voted in their first President named Ruiz, who came up with the club motto "Riders of Fortune" on the wisdom that most important thing to do in life is to find out what your own personal fortune is.
Lane was once addicted to heroin when she tried to self-medicate the manic depressive episodes (to treat and sleep through the depression) that forced her and Allie to skip town, but got clean during a year in jail for assaulting a police officer. During that year in prison, she met Wade Wilson there and stabbed an attacker who was trying to stab Wade in the shower. Wade had no one after he had left his entire circle of Los Santos friends behind in California. Lane, Wade, Allie, Mason, Rue (joined by Wade's old friends Taylor Archer and Dax Marshall) revived and refounded the new Raiders MC in the Autumn of 2023. Everyone but an incarcerated Dax moved to a rebuilt Los Santos.
🐍 Season One (December 2023-July 2024)[]
A Grudge against Entitled "Legacy" Gangs is Born and First Manic Episode (December 2023-January 2024)[]
Synopsis: Led by their President Lane, the Raiders MC claim Chumash as their home turf (and Chumash Pier as their meeting spot) in pursuit of a dream to live in that neighborhood and build the area up. They also begin to socialize with other established MCs like the Lost MC and the Already Dead MC, but Lane's ambition to unite an MC voting bloc for the first mayoral election is misinterpreted as a personal play for power that she hasn't earned yet. As a result, Lane's hatred of entitled "legacy" gangs (who expect their reputation from the old Los Santos to carry over to the new Los Santos) begins. She does repair the bad start with Lost MC Vice President Oshiera Petros, however, and the two become friends. Lane and her VP Wade Wilson become exhausted from working sanitation--but feel obligated to keep going because they're the only two Raiders consistently around. Lane enjoys her first manic episode in Los Santos and worries her Chaplain and lifelong best friend Allie, who can recognize all of the symptoms. A meme starts that every Raiders MC member seems to have their own ADMC friend, but Lane loses her ADMC friend Sean "Irish" McQuillen when he neglects her in favor of Allie and leads an armed ADMC party onto the Raiders MC's home turf pier to threaten her brother Mason Calaway for asking too many questions about the ADMC. Lane is devastated that Allie leaves the Raiders MC because of a final straw where Mason thought she set him up on the pier (Allie later blames Rue Day's stirring as a primary reason).
Convinced that the new City Council and first mayoral election would be pivotal to the future of Los Santos and all of the MCs, Lane began pitching to the The Neon Tigers MC, the Lost MC, and Chaos Legion MC that all MCs unite together as a singular voting bloc to leverage the City Council toward MC interests such as priority in buying and servicing motorbikes. On December 26, 2023 after the debate for Mayor of Los Santos, the Raiders MC met with the Lost MC (her VP Wade Wilson's old group) at the Chumash Pier to discuss whether to support mayoral candidate Maximilian Thoroughbred and his likely Chief of Staff Juno Sweeney. Lane reasoned that an MC voting bloc having influence over whom the Mayor appoints as their Chief of Staff could lock in two votes and a tiebreaking vote for a City Council with only eight seats on it, making only two additional votes necessary to pass legislation. Lane also saw potential power in a clean MC loyalist, such as Lost MC Treasurer Charlotte "Lottie" Thomas, applying for the Treasurer seat on the City Council. Lane strove for transparency to avoid looking like a schemer or politician. Having already met mayoral candidate Stelio Lambros, the Raiders MC met with mayoral candidate Maximilian Thoroughbred (with his chief campaign manager and confirmed Chief of Staff Juno Sweeney and campaign manager Penelope Farthing) at the Chumash Pier on December 28, 2023. Although Max promised vague legislation for MCs to sell and repair motorbikes, Lane debunked his claim that he already had a lock on five of the eight seats of the City Council. Max asserted that the federal government would have less power than before as a consequence of the City Council. Lane floated Lottie's name for the Treasurer seat, but Max answered that an unnamed individual appointed that seat. Everyone agreed on their hatred of the police. The next day, Lane informed Jack Kettleman and Stelio that in light of the news that the Mayor could only appoint a Chief of Staff and not a Treasurer, she didn't expect them to uphold their promise of a City Council seat to Lottie. Lane also advised them to broaden their main points to much more than just the lumber union. As former BBMC members began socializing with different members of the Raiders MC, Lane noticed they were asking a lot of questions. Lane especially distrusted Allie's suitor, fired police officer Winston Walker--particularly with how he pried for information about the Raiders MC. Following Winston's sudden outreach to Lane about wanting to earn her trust, she informed high command (Wade Wilson and Taylor Archer) that their own Chaplain Allie had leaked what she had said in confidence. Taylor advised Lane not to burn a bridge with the BBMC prematurely. During Taylor's investigation, she concluded that Winston was purposely causing issues and wanted to give Allie an ultimatum between him and the club. During a make-up conversation, Allie admitted to Lane that Winston was "too curious"; and Lane suspected that Winston had been sharing information with other former BBMC members like her new friend Sean "Irish" McQuillen. Irish cautioned Taylor that Lane's organization of the MC summit rubbed a few members in long-established clubs the "wrong way" because of the perceived threat against any leakers and also the MC members' cynicism that the first Mayor of Los Santos would actually do anything they promised. He referred Taylor to Lost MC Vice President Oshiera Petros, who had felt slighted that Lane had not introduced each Raiders MC member during their meeting. After Taylor advised Lane that the MC summit looked too much like a play for power, Wade agreed with Taylor that they focus inward. Lane left it up to the Lost MC to organize the MC summit themselves since they were the ones who originally suggested it, and gave up on outreach to the other MCs about the first mayoral election. As a way to screen which MC members actually wanted long-term relationships rather than just information, Lane set a temporary new club rule to be reactive toward them rather than proactive. Lane also instructed that the Raiders MC always dodge questions about club business. During the Raiders MC's meeting with mayoral candidate Pilbis Shonley (and his campaign team), Lane was pleasantly surprised that he was considering Stelio Lambros as his Chief of Staff and suggested the two of them run together against the perceived frontrunner Maximilian Thoroughbred. Although Pilbis' ideas didn't impact the MCs that much, Lane and the Raiders MC considered splitting their votes for him and Stelio to at least win Deputy Mayor over their least favorite mayoral candidate Vivek Ramasquamy. Already irritated with Road Captain Mason Calaway for offending Irish with a joke that he was weird, Lane rebuked Mason on January 4, 2024 for complaining about her with Enforcer Rue Day and former BBMC member Flops Rainman in the car because Lane wouldn't let him pick up his friend (and former BBMC member) Aubrey Synnefo right away. Lane called it Mason's final warning, said she'll find out if he complains about any of the Raiders outside of the club again, and emphasized "I'm not your friend, I'm your President." On January 5, 2024 at Chumash Pier, Lane and Mason heard out late mayoral candidate Michael Simone (and his campaign team), who advocated for more food establishments and transportation plus air certification. Michael had his Chief of Staff narrowed down to Jenny Hall or Jackie Snow. Lane agreed with Michael's and Reggie Might's hard stance against police corruption, but was skeptic about their ambition to win a majority in the City Council with Reggie Might competing for the Head of the Bar Association seat and Nicholas Simone competing for the Healthcare Liaison seat. Lane decided against bringing up MC concerns like motorcycles and kuttes to Michael, as she didn't want to promise votes from the other MCs. Lane finally had a one-on-one conversation with Lost MC Vice President Oshiera Petros on January 7, 2024 to fix their bad start. Oshiera admitted disappointment in their first meeting with the Raiders MC due to what she perceived as brash, "unwarranted aggression" without any pleasantries or introductions. She had also been irked by Lane's advice on what to ask a mayoral candidate. Oshiera appreciated Lane's self-awareness that her opinionated passion for the first mayoral election could come across as abrasive and pushy. Oshiera proposed a meeting "redo", and bonded over the similarities of their struggles. Lane concluded that she was still interested in an MC voting bloc and/or MC summit, floated aligning with the mayoral frontrunner (Maximilian Thoroughbred), and that the MCs could consider splitting votes for a Deputy Mayor. Later that day in a Raiders MC meeting, Lane ended the grace period and cracked down on interruptions and sassy attitudes during non-personal club talk. After the Raiders MC voted 7-0 to buy a smaller clubhouse, Lane successfully purchased the El Burro Heights,Amarillo Vista,5 house property for $185,400 before storm hit. By January 9, 2024, Lane and Wade Wilson were completely exhausted from working sanitation--but felt obligated to keep going because they were the only two Raiders consistently around. Lane explained to Wade that some people in the city already had the advantage of five-year-old relationships, and wanted the Raiders MC to similarly build good relationships with people outside of the club instead of just handling everything themselves. Lane's friend Irish became the Vice Prime Minister in Prime Minister Barry Benson's replacement club for the Bondi Boys MC, the Already Dead MC (ADMC). Due to commitments in another city, Sergeant At Arms Taylor Archer stepped down from the Raiders MC high command to the rank of "Nomad" (reserved for founders who retire). With mayoral candidate Maximilian Thoroughbred leading comfortably in the exit polls, the Raiders MC decided 5-1 to vote for current runner-up Stelio Lambros to help him win Deputy Mayor. Ultimately, Maximilian Thoroughbred was elected the inaugural Mayor of Los Santos on January 20, 2024 by a landslide victory. He appointed Juno Sweeney as his Chief of Staff. Michael Simone won Deputy Mayor as the runner-up, and three-time Deputy Mayor Etta Hawthorne was appointed as the Treasurer. |
Lane's first full manic episode in Los Santos started on the night of January 21, 2024, when she went out drinking, twatting, and texting Allie terrible drunk selfies. The next day, Lane energetically ran sanitation with Wade Wilson and hangaround Thomas Aoki. Wade asked Lane why she was running so goofy and walking faster like Beverly Brekker. Lane openly floated investing in stocks. With Allie, Rue, and Wade all picking up on Lane's manic symptoms, Lane binged alcohol with City Council Chief of Staff Juno Sweeney on January 23, 2024 at the Liquid Library. They drunkenly swung at each other before Juno electrocuted herself on the sword and started choking on her own vomit in front of Tessa Lamb. Lane drunkenly twatted out a selfie with them. Paramedics, Wade, Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred, and Brick James all showed up. After Lane sobered up, she paced around Wade in a circle before they decided how to punish their third-in-command Mason Calaway for throwing Rue Day off the pier in front of the hangarounds. Lane's mind was then blown by Wade's news that Irwin Dundee wanted to form a brand-new Bondi Boys MC in Vespucci Beach independent of his former second-in-command Barry Benson's Already Dead MC. A worried Allie cautioned Lane that she recognized the symptoms of her latest manic episode all too well, e.g., not sleeping, extra energy, bad choices, drinking too much, and live-twatting it--and that they couldn't run away from the city this time. Lane confessed that she enjoyed feeling good despite the inevitable crash. For Mason's punishment on January 24, 2024, Wade gave him one final warning that they would strip him of his third-in-command Road Captain rank the next time he showed any kind of disrespect to a club member. Wade fined Mason $500 for the pier incident and another $5000 for overdue fees, said he was on the "thinnest of ice", and punitively beat Mason down in front of Lane. On January 25, 2024 in a pier meeting with Lost MC Vice President Oshiera Petros, Lane was shocked by her news that she was in a romantic relationship with Senior Officer Kian McNulty (the Raiders MC's cop nemesis); and that the Already Dead MC had found out about it. Oshiera assured her that McNulty was no longer investigating the MCs, just weed (Lane later requested to the Raiders MC that they don't date cops). In a pier meeting with Kermy Fulker of the former HOA (Wade's old group that often bought materials from the Raiders MC), he shared important sanitation secrets with Lane, Wade, and Rue. Later that night, a local shot Rue during her weed run with Patched Member Maxx McAllister, Wally, Tom, and Mason. With Rue in surgery at the hospital, Maxx left hangarounds Wally and Tom posted outside of the operating room. As Maxx and Mason stood guard in the hospital lobby watching for police, she saw him on his phone and angrily threatened to bash his head in. Lane and Wade fined Maxx $250 in her next club dues after she admitted that she shouldn't have said it. Afterward, Lane and Wade told Mason that as third-in-command, he should have taken control of that situation and that Maxx felt let down by him. Although Lane believed his defense that he only used the phone to look inconspicuous and was just fidgeting with it out of habit, she said it didn't change Maxx's perception of him. Mason confessed that he was afraid to forcibly pull rank in that situation because of the club's perception that he had abused his rank in the past. Lane and Wade decided to sleep on whether to derank him, privately agreeing to each other that he wasn't ready to be Road Captain. Rue confided in Lane that she respected the Road Captain position but not Mason, because he didn't care about Rue and is the only one in the club who doesn't show up for her. Later in the night after Mason's talk with his sister Allie, he admitted to Lane and Wade that despite a desire to be command, Mason realized he wasn't ready for it. Mason voluntarily stepped down from Road Captain, saying that he wanted to earn it. Lane and Wade respected his decision and remained open-minded to the possibility that he could earn his club members' respect and get voted back into command. Afterward to fulfill Lane's order to Tom to get her a stolen motorbike to ride, he and Maxx had Lane ride a non-functional motorbike on the bed of their moving tow truck. Although Lane had tried to be lenient about Raiders MC members socializing with the Already Dead MC, she and Rue Day had grown annoyed by the end of January 2024 with how often Allie hung out with them over her own club and her own best friend Lane--especially when ADMC Vice Prime Minister Sean "Irish" McQuillen began hanging out with Allie and neglecting his friendship with Lane. Allie had ended her fling with former BBMC member Winston Walker, and was now casually dating ADMC member Shang Liu (whom she often spent time alone with). Lane half-joked that Allie had become the ADMC's "temporary chaplain" doing emotional labor for them. Lane's misgivings about the ADMC were confirmed on January 28, 2024 when Irish led a melee-armed ADMC party onto the Raiders MC's own turf Chumash Pier, where Allie was privately ordering her brother Mason Calaway to stop prying into ADMC business with ADMC patched member Rue Minmi (to which he agreed because he sensed that Rue had lured him into some kind of "performative" mind game). Irish called Allie to warn them to drop their phones and knives on the ground, which she and a confused Mason both did (Mason dropped his wrench). When she refused to swim away with Mason (who wanted to escape instead), he asked her whether she had set him up. Irish accused Mason of prying into ADMC business with both Rue Minmi and EMS Deputy Chief Veronica Westfield (an ADMC associate). After Irish saw multiple personal texts to former BBMC member Aubrey Synnefo in Mason's phone, Irish warned and threatened him, and left with his phone. Afterward, Wade Wilson beat Mason for saying Allie had set him up (which if true would be punishable by death). After sending snapshots to Wade and Allie of Mason's month-old texts to Aubrey about the BBMC, Irish invited Wade to the Yard (the ADMC's turf)--and when Wade arrived, all of the available ADMC were congregated outside as a show of force. Wade told Irish that that he'd rather have a good relationship between clubs than this information prying drama, that the leadership from both clubs should sort out issues like this going forward, and that he was unhappy with how it happened but was against retaliation. Irish promised to return Mason's phone. Afterward, Wade put a hold on Raiders MC members socializing with the ADMC. Lane woke up and agreed with Wade to not retaliate. Although she fumed at Mason (for his accusation against Allie and for repeatedly hanging out with Rue Minmi), she also found Irish's accusation hypocritical and his "big-dicking" disrespectful. She angrily ordered Wade to only talk to Prime Minister Barry Benson going forward instead of Irish. After Lane cooled off and began coming down from her manic episode the next day, she called Irish in one final attempt to fix their friendship. She wanted to figure out what she had originally done wrong to upset him, and to potentially admit her bipolar disorder to him--but sensed hostility from him and decided to give up (Lane didn't believe his excuses that he was too busy to contact her and was "terrible" at reaching out, because of the three times he had met up with Allie). Later that same day on January 29, 2024, in a heartbreaking conversation with Lane, Chaplain Allie left the Raiders MC. She said she felt like she didn't fit into their group dynamic and didn't have the trust of the club (particularly from her own brother Mason Calaway, Rue Day, and to a lesser extent Wade Wilson). Allie said that she only felt loyal to Lane, and not to the rest of the club. Afterward, a devastated and disappointed Lane announced Allie's decision to leave to the Raiders MC. As a founder of the club, Allie was allowed to walk away without being blooded out. |
A Five-Year Handicap and First Depressive Crash (February 2024-March 2024)[]
Synopsis: Vowing to never forget how the Already Dead MC disrespected the Raiders MC, Lane commits to strengthening alliances with her VP Wade Wilson's former groups the Lost MC and the former HOA. She also encourages the Raiders MC to build relationships outside of the club (but to beware of snakes). Lane sends the club to hunt Kirk Jerkems when his trolling goes too far, and against a group of EMS who offended the MCs and wore denim kuttes. She loses her friend Oshiera Petros over the latter when she leaves the Lost MC because the ADMC accused Oshiera of snitching to the police over it. Lane suffers her first depressive crash in Los Santos and tries prescription medication for it--but eventually throws it all in the ocean. Irish makes a sworn enemy out of Lane by secretly trying to poach Allie into the ADMC. Lane bans romance in the club when a prospect sleeps with a hangaround.
Although Lane generally grants people a default amount of trust, they have to keep building upon it (like filling a cup) to fully earn it. Her trust is also very easy to lose. Lane still cared about and fully trusted her lifelong best friend of two decades, Allie, despite her departure from the Raiders MC. However with Allie no longer under the Raiders MC's official protection and about half of the club (Rue Day and Maxx McAllister) angry with her, Lane began probing for who would be there for Allie if she ever needed help. She concluded from ADMC Patched Member Shang Liu's hesitant answers that he didn't know her well enough. Both Mason and Wade affirmed their loyalty to Allie, though both Lane and Wade agreed that Allie would lose her founder status if she ever came back. Also in the aftermath of the Chumash Pier incident, Lane lost all interest in a relationship with the Already Dead MC as she now considered them too disrespectful and egotistical from a legacy they had built five years ago as the Bondi Boys MC. Lane and Wade fully committed to strengthening alliances with the Lost MC (particularly with their VP Oshiera Petros), the former HOA (particularly with Kermy Fulker), and the Chaos Legion MC. In the Raiders MC chapter meeting on February 2, 2024 (where they unanimously voted hangarounds Wally West and Tom Aoki in as prospects), the Raiders MC voted 5-0 to claim a turf to push weed in Sandy (a turf they would go on to share with other MCs). Lane also withdrew the temporary rule against reaching out to MCs to build relationships with them; but emphasized that they beware of snakes and cut them off at the head (and to keep personal relationships personal without prying into other groups). She added that members were no longer obligated to spend time with hangarounds, and encouraged the members to spend time with friends and to build relationships outside of the club. In a "meet-and-greet" with The "Paleto District" on February 3, 2024, Kermy Fulker introduced Lane to Nico Kanto, Erin Cox, Siz Fulker, and Andi Jones. As they compared notes with Lane and Wade on the various jobs in the city, she transparently discussed her plan to work with other MCs to sell weed in Sandy--in theory, separating production and distribution (of ideally one weed strain) between groups to reduce the risk of a hefty drug trafficking charge. She explained that she didn't want the Raiders MC to be good at everything--she wanted to work with and earn the trust of other groups, especially given how new the Raiders MC were to Los Santos. Everyone present liked the idea of conspiring together on one weed strain. Convinced that she was too emotionally unavailable to love anyone romantically enough to be an Old Lady for the Raiders MC someday, Lane felt like her ex-husband Beverly Brekker of The Company would be the closest she'd ever get. However, the only holdout vote blocking him from becoming an Old Lady was Rue Day, who didn't know him very well, didn't trust very easily (even though Lane and the rest of the Raiders MC trusted him), and was fully aware that Lane was not in love with him. On February 4, 2024 at Chumash Pier, Rue conversed with Bev so that she could make an informed decision about whether to change her nay vote to a yea vote. But Bev felt like he was being interviewed, and eventually went off about the unwillingness to trust him--including an uninformed opinion that Allie never would have left the Raiders MC had they really been a family. He stormed off before Rue could respond. After concussing her head trying to catch back up to him, she declined his subsequent effort to make up. Afterward, Rue upset Lane with a comment about now feeling justified for the nay vote against Bev. Both Lane and Wade privately fumed that club members kept putting their petty personal feelings before the good of the club. She resolved to change the Raiders MC's Old Lady precedent some time in the future. Rue explained to Lane that she genuinely wanted to meet Bev to give him a yea vote, but lost respect for him for poking her fresh wound about Allie and storming out. Lane advised Rue not to count Bev out over one bad conversation, but declined the option Rue floated to override her nay vote. When Rue remarked that she was glad she went with her gut, Lane responded that it hurt to hear how vindicated she felt going against Lane's trust of Bev. Afterward, a sad Lane admitted to Rue over the phone about not being sure anymore whether Bev was good for the club--given her track record of thinking that Allie, Mason, and Taylor would be good for the club. But Lane affirmed that she would die before she gave up on the Raiders MC. The next day in a private Chumash Pier conversation with Lane, Bev admitted to assuming that Rue was trying to trap him--an assumption based upon his belief that the Raiders MC judged each other for their worst moments, as well as his hurt that they hadn't trusted him as a leap of faith. Fixating upon Bev's statement that The Company had never once judged him for repeatedly failing, Lane voiced her conclusion that they'll always be friends but that he was looking for The Company--not the Raiders MC. Bev winced at that. Lane elaborated that if he was looking for blind faith and trust, then he belonged in a business or a friend group rather than a 1% motorcycle club where members were held accountable for mistakes that could mean life or death. Also given that the MC members had to put their lives on the line for each other every single day, she found it completely fair for someone to want 100% certainty before bringing an outsider in. Finally, Lane explained that Bev had gone into the conversation with Rue in bad faith by assuming she distrusted him based upon his own prejudgments, when really Rue just wanted to get to know him. Bev walked away dejected. |
Kirk Jerkems was a Guber driver who had saved Patched Member Maxx McAllister from bleeding to death in his car. He later called in a favor from Lane to get picked up from a mine shaft where he, Chatterbox, and Bozo were stranded (Lane sent Beverly Brekker). As a long-time clown, Kirk had a penchant for mischief and pushing boundaries with his trolling. Disguised as vaudevillian and "Bread Gang" leader "Humphrey Pumpernickel", Kirk kept prank calling the Raiders MC daily--but went too far on February 7, 2024 when he sliced Wally West with a knife in the waters of the Vespucci canals. Kirk had been running from Rue Day, Wally, and Thomas Aoki over the prank calls, and wound up slicing Wally over his falsified claim that Rue had stabbed Kirk's friend Pico Pingafria (disguised as "Tony Tortilla"). In retaliation, Rue stabbed Pico for real and left with his phone (with contacts) and hunting rifle. Lane and Wade Wilson also went looking for Kirk in Vespucci Beach, but left because they were in the middle of a Grime job. As a fake alibi, Osvaldo Pingafria lied to Lane that he and Kirk had been hunting. Kirk offered to pay Lane to rough up his friends Osvaldo and Jamal (for $750 each) at Snr. Buns--but Rue, Wally, and Tom didn't find anyone there. While running from the Raiders MC near Mirror Park, Kirk tried to mount a slowing semi-truck but got dragged underneath the wheels instead. Laughing, Wade took him with Rue to a remote location. They let Kirk off with a warning without bothering to unmask him, and Wade took his IFAK and phone before they dropped him off at the hospital. Wade returned Kirk's phone afterward. Both the Raiders MC and Kirk moved on from the incident, with Rue hiring him to kidnap Harper Bazaar for stabbing her and four ADMC members. On February 9, 2024, Kirk phoned Lane to properly introduce themselves and to give her a Moonshine Bottle as a gift. To Kirk's confusion, she invited him to Chumash Pier to guard her in a meeting with the Mayor's wife Siobhan Thoroughbred and her lawyer friend Atty. Sebastian Birch. However after Lane got really drunk on Kirk's moonshine, Mayor Maximilian "Yung Dab" Thoroughbred showed up unannounced to confront her with Siobhan and Sebastian. Yung Dab and Siobhan became uneasy about Lane's odd behavior and Kirk's obvious attempt to hide behind a fence, saying they had already been kidnapped from Davis City Hall by Sonya Summers, her "goons", and Jessi Adler. As a prank, Kirk texted "its a trap" to Yung Dab and glared at them (as Siobhan called moonshine "toilet booze") from behind the fence holding a wrench. Afterward, Lane left with them and Kirk discovered that Patched Member Mason Calaway had been watching them all though a hunting rifle. The "Los Santos Medical Club"--advertising themselves as the LSMC in the yellow pages--was a group of Emergency Medical Services workers who offended the MCs by wearing denim kuttes (with a paramedic patch on the back) and jokingly masquerading as MC members. In a Chumash Pier meeting with Lane and Wade Wilson on February 11, 2024, VP Oshiera Petros explained that the Lost MC had blooded out Lottie's Old Lady Dr. Ryan Wilson who had cheated on her with PD officer Louise Campbell--and suspected that "LSMC Old Lady" Louise wanted to bait the Lost MC into attacking EMS to push the new E.G.O. Act. That same day, "LSMC Road Captain" Charlotte Spade fired ADMC Patched Member Finn Milton from the EMS. EMS Chief Kiki Pendragon cited several complaints that people "didn't feel safe" around him (he kept talking about crime and threatened to stab a colleague), and also informed Irish that Finn had been threatening Charlotte and other "LSMC" to take off the denim or else he and his gang will come after them. The ADMC, Lost MC, and Raiders MC united in a twatter war against Charlotte Spade over the kuttes. The three MCs met at The Boneyard for an "MC summit". Lane had VP Oshiera Petros explain the context around the LSMC and her Louise theory to the ADMC. Lane also pointed out that the E.G.O. Act would not apply if different gangs kidnapped the LSMC members. Finn singled out Louise and Charlotte as the instigators, to which all of the MCs agreed to look for them. After they split up, VP Irish and Finn used "LSMC Sgt at Arms" Franklin "Happy" Lee to lure Charlotte down to the beach--where Lost MC President Floki Bartram, VP Oshiera, VP Wade Wilson, and Rue Day showed up in solidarity on Irish's invitation. Floki rebuked Charlotte and stabbed her in the gut to send a message to the rest of LSMC. The MCs returned Happy's phone and left him unharmed. |
Later on February 11, 2024 in a surprise prospecting ceremony beginning at Chumash Pier, both Wally West and Thomas "Tom" Aoki accepted Lane's offer to join the Raiders MC as their first two prospects. She forewarned them that from this point on, this commitment was for life with "only one way out". In Sandy, Lane tasked them to each catch a rattlesnake in a black silk bag and then walk back to Chumash together. At Chumash Pier, Wally and his sponsor Rue Day recited the prospecting oath. Tom and his sponsor Wade Wilson recited the prospecting oath. Rue and Wade then coaxed the snakes into biting their prospects (which the prospects later had to name and take care of for the duration of their prospecting phase). The Raiders MC took the poisoned prospects to the hospital to get treated with antivenom, then dressed the prospects up in their kuttes at the clothing store. Afterward in the chapter meeting, Tom (the only prospect still awake after storm) was allowed to listen in on their chapter meeting without speaking. Lane announced that she and Wade agreed to resist spending club money and to keep it in a safe for big purchases such as motorbikes or a house. She also announced that the Lost MC agreed to push Snake Pit in Sandy while she and Wade helped them to get to 100 rep and gave the free non-Snake Pit weed. Wade announced an agreement with Nico Kanto that the Raiders would push DINO NUGZ in Paleto for a week on The Paleto District app in exchange for the Paleto District pushing Snake Pit for a week on the Raiders MC app. Mason Calaway talked about sewers runs, Wade talked about pawn runs, and Rue talked about roof runs. Lane and Wade recapped the LSMC situation (with a final to-do to kidnap Louise Campbell for the Lost MC), and Rue Day warned she and Wade might have warrants for Floki Bartram stabbing A-EMT Charlotte Spade. Lane's first depressive state in Los Santos began on February 15, 2024. That same day, Kirk Jerkems called with a $2500 offer to hunt Bobby Beldrum. When she declined because Bobby is her "best friend's grandpa", Kirk mocked her and called the Raiders MC a "book club". On Lane's orders, Wade Wilson, Maxx McAllister, Thomas Aoki, and Wally West rolled up on Kirk outside of Snr. Buns. After Wade stabbed Kirk, Lane twatted, "I love my book club :)" Afterward in a phone call with Kirk, she told him that she knew he was in the "Bread Gang", that he had stabbed her prospect Wally, and that he and Osvaldo had lied about hunting. She explained that the disrespect in his last phone call had finally crossed the line. In the chapter meeting on February 16, 2024, Lane announced that she bought Hank Marston's Pounder for $15,000, set club member goals for the week that she's on vacation (including meeting one new person), initiated a "me time" rule where members take a club-mandated break, explained that hangarounds are allowed to say "no" because they don't know they're being evaluated, dropped Cody Stewart as a hangaround without any objections, asked that the club familiarize themselves with getaway strategies, mandated that members always have food and bandages on them (including a punitive 30-minute shift at Snr. Buns if they ask for food), went over club lingo, and had the club members pick out their motorbikes ($25,000 of each purchase covered by the club funds in ranking order). Afterward in the Raiders MC clubhouse, Lane shared with the club that she had entered a depressive state--and informed Wally and Tom that it happens to her every other month or so. The Raiders MC and the Lost MC began actively cornering the Snake Pit strain on the Sandy Shores weed turf at the same time that The Company was cornering their ANITA strain there. On February 17, 2024 on the Sandy weed turf, Wade Wilson verbally agreed to friendly competition with KJ of The Company so that they could co-exist on the same Sandy weed turf rather than conflict. Later that same day in a hypothetical conversation with Rue Day, Patched Member Maxx McAllister admitted that she could see herself in a Raiders MC Command position as a Road Captain. Both Rue and Lane fully supported the idea. Afterward in an impromptu chapter, Lane put forward Maxx's name for a majority vote to promote her to Road Captain (the Raiders MC's highest Command position as well as the current third-in-command). The Raiders MC voted 3-1 to promote Maxx to Road Captain (Maxx did not vote). The previous Road Captain Mason Calaway voted nay even though he had declined to say anything when Lane had gone in a circle getting each club member's opinion prior to the voting. As soon as Lane closed the chapter, he walked away before she had finished talking. Devastated that everything he had been working for was now taken from him, Mason told Lane that he wished she'd talked to him first given how hard he had been working to earn that Road Captain position back. Lane explained to him that it wasn't "his position", that they weren't holding it for him, that he wasn't entitled to anything, and that she still distrusted him for accusing his own sister Allie of setting him up for another MC. In denial of Lane's take that his nay vote proved he only wanted the position for himself rather than what's best for the club, Mason claimed that he had only voted nay because he had instead wanted Maxx in High Command as a Sergeant At Arms. (Mason later confessed to Maxx that she deserved to be Road Captain, and that he had been petty over not getting a heads-up conversation beforehand.) Lane left Los Santos for a week to work through her depressive state. She decided to try prescription medication again for her bipolar disorder, and noticed an improvement in her mood. |
During the police investigation of the Charlotte Spade stabbing, Officer Anita May subpoenaed the phone records of both Irish and Finn Milton with "several" witnesses including a redacted one. Irish, Finn, and Wade also got warrants--but curiously, not Lost MC President Floki Bartram or his VP Oshiera Petros. In a Chumash Pier meeting on March 1, 2024, Wade and Lane forewarned their close ally Oshiera that Irish was questioning why neither Lost MC member had a warrant. Lane's bad gut feeling became validated when the ADMC pinged Oshiera to her own house. Wade expedited his warrant investigation, found out that Officer Alex Suarez had issued it, and phoned Irish that it had nothing to do with the Charlotte stabbing. At Oshiera's house, she admitted to Irish and the ADMC that she had given Anita a statement that claimed ignorance to Charlotte's stabbing. Irish pressured Oshiera to retract the statement as a test to see whether the warrants get dropped as a result, but she refused because she didn't like being bullied. Irish gave her 24 hours to retract it. In a Kortz Center meeting between the ADMC and Raiders MC, Irish and Finn informed Lane, Wade, Maxx, and Rue that Oshiera had refused to retract her police statement. Lane agreed on principle that Oshiera should retract a police statement that she shouldn't have given in the first place, and that Oshiera dating Senior Officer Kian McNulty was a problem. Afterward, Lane convinced Oshiera to retract the statement given how bad the optics looked for both her and the Lost MC's reputation. Later that same day in the chapter meeting, Lane congratulated everyone on exceeding their goals while she was gone, and set a daily quota of 50 weed bags to push in Sandy, encouraged the club to invite hangarounds to activities, relaxed the rule of when to tell a hangaround that they are being considered to become a prospect, and told the Raiders MC to stay out of the Charlotte Spade fallout. Nobody vetoed the proposed Raiders MC hangarounds: Mason nominated Aubrey Synnefo, and Lane nominated Tatum "Tate" Ross. Afterward, Lane introduced the club to Oola Lafayette. The Raiders MC then attended a 1% MC BBQ hosted by the Lost MC. Tired of being the Vice President of the Lost MC with so few members around, Oshiera decided to leave the club. She confided in her cop boyfriend McNulty how she had to meet the ADMC alone outside of the house she and McNulty shared, and felt caged from always having to worry about the politics of the different MC cultures. Although President Floki Bartram preferred a retirement vote for Oshiera, she opted to be blooded out of the Lost MC instead. Oshiera was "sent home" on March 7, 2024. |
Lane's personal rule against romantic relationships between club members stemmed from her and Allie witnessing the violent destruction of a club because the then-President's husband, the then-Chaplain, had cheated on her with a prospect. Romance started to become an issue within the Raiders MC when Lane began distrusting prospect Tom Aoki for keeping her, Wade Wilson, and Maxx McAllister in the dark about a crush Tom had on Maxx--while non-Command like Rue Day and Beverly Brekker knew about it. To Maxx's humiliation, Rue laughed off her past emotional trauma and tried to ship her with Tom; and Bev falsely assumed Maxx reciprocated Tom's crush and schemed a way to protect him from scrutiny. Shortly after on March 4, 2024, Tom admitted to Lane that he had slept with Tate the day before Lane had nominated her as a Raiders MC hangaround--and that the relationship was getting more serious. Lane stated that had he told her before the hangaround nomination, Tate wouldn't have become a hangaround--and that Tate will be removed as a hangaround if the relationship continues. Lane also told Tom about her own personal rule that she'll always vote against prospecting or patching someone in if they're in a relationship with a current club member. Afterward, Tom broke the news to Tate that if she wants to become a Raiders MC member, then their relationship can't continue. Although Tate ultimately decided to end the relationship, Lane interpreted Tate's text to Mason Calaway about unselfishly picking the Raiders MC to mean that Tom was the "selfish" choice that she truly wanted. On March 6, 2024, Allie privately confided in Lane that Irish asked her to be his ADMC hangaround (and that she wasn't considering it). Lane fumed to Allie about wanting to stab Irish, and wished that Allie wasn't friends with him. Later that day, Lane couldn't get a straight answer from Tom about who actually decided to end his relationship with Tate, stating that Tom should have broken it off since Tate couldn't make an informed decision. Emphasizing that Tom hadn't broken a club rule, an angry Lane still rebuked him that by breaking her personal rule he broke her trust. In a rainy chapter meeting on March 8, 2024 (preceded by Lane throwing all of her bipolar meds in the ocean), Lane motioned to remove Tate as a hangaround because of her sexual relationship with Tom. Lane added that Tom won't be beaten, that he was the last person she expected this issue from, that he subjected the club to two of his "personal romantic woes" within two weeks (Maxx clenched her fists), that it was disrespectful to keep Maxx and High Command (Lane and Wade) out of the loop on the Maxx crush, that he could've rebounded with anyone else in the entire city beside hangaround Tate, that she interpreted Tate's "unselfish" choice as sacrificing what she actually wanted (Tom) for the Raiders MC, that she now doubted whether Tate would always put the club first over her feelings for Tom, that his attitude to the other members was worsening with time, that he was acting above his position as a prospect, that her trust in him was broken, that this was not the Tom she voted in as a prospect, that she'll never vote to patch him in until he earns her trust back, and that this would be his only warning. Lane fined Tom $10,000 and dismissed him from chapter. The rain suddenly stopped and the sun came out. No one objected to Tate being removed as a hangaround. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 5-0 to enact Lane's proposed club rule:The Raiders MC agreed to abandon pushing weed in Sandy in favor of Wade's alternative of pushing The Paleto District's weed for Nico Kanto in Paleto.

First Heists, Solidarity with Rue Day, and Second Manic Episode (March 2024-May 2024)[]
Synopsis: The Raiders MC heist progression begins with heat pawn runs, laundromat heists, and cash exchange heists. They also regularly buy weed bricks from The Guild to push in Paleto, with the club saving up for motorbikes and Lane setting a club fund goal for whenever Chumash houses become available. Lane and the Raiders MC show solidarity with their Enforcer Rue Day when her shenanigans provoke conflict with the Lumber Company and Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred. Lane becomes angry that Rue picked her boyfriend Finn Milton of the ADMC to murder her grandmother Ethyl Winkelfiddle, and that Rue would have taken the fall for it to protect Finn. Lane's second manic episode makes her laugh off ADMC Road Captain Shang Liu's threat to cut Rue's head off (over a joke robbery at Milton's Mods), and almost laugh off Mason Calaway's discovery that she and Allie had killed his father. The Raiders MC lease out a space in the clubhouse for Beverly Brekker to store his share of Mickey Sinclaire's Company assets.
On March 11, 2024, the Raiders MC turned in 1000 jewelry into the Pawnshop for their first-ever High Risk (tier 2) pawn run. After Wade Wilson lockpicked the unguarded pawn car (a Bravado) with an intermittent tracker on it, he struggled to drive it to five guarded pickup spots (Sandy Shores Airfield hangar, Grapeseed fish market, Del Perro Pier, the orange Observatory ball, and industrial area Ammu-Nation) with Lane in the passenger seat phoning orders and periodically repairing the car. A local occasionally shot at the pawn car. Mason Calaway and Thomas Aoki drove to each pickup spot ahead of time to shoot down its three local guards with hunting rifles. Wally West drove passenger Rue Day (who gave police callouts) in a stolen backup car and drew away two police cars in Del Perro. Although Officer Matt Dark-Rhodes began chasing the pawn car, Wade lost him in a sandstorm. Mason and Tom used up their rifle ammo at the orange Observatory ball, so they had to run over the local guards at the final pickup spot at the industrial area Ammu-Nation. The whole Raiders MC convoy headed to the lumber yard docks, where Wade and Lane rode a motorboat to an island and dropped off the goods for a payout of $10,000 in rolled cash. On March 13, 2024, the Raiders MC turned in 1500 jewelry into the Pawnshop for their first-ever Hot Run (tier 3). Mason and Wally shot down the local armed guards at the pawn car. Wade lockpicked the pawn car (a Growler), activating a 15-minute tracker. He drove it with Lane as the passenger. Rue refueled the pawn car. Wade and Lane wandered the night-shrouded countryside while the crew scouted for police. Once the tracker timed out, Wade dropped off the goods for nearly $21,000 in rolled cash. No police responded. Lane commented that this hot pawn run was way easier than their medium pawn run. The Raiders MC successfully completed three more heat pawns runs (2 High Risk and 1 Hot Run) with Wade driving the pawn car and Lane as the pawn car passenger. They almost got caught on the Hot Run when Rue had to repair the pawn car (a Bravado Gauntlet) after it started smoking in the police chase with about nine minutes left on the tracker; however, the police broke off to respond to a laundromat heist. The total $41,000 in rolled cash went straight into the club account. On March 19, 2024, Wade and Lane turned in 1000 jewelry into the Pawnshop and duo'd their wildest High Risk pawn run yet (the Raiders MC's sixth pawn heat run and their first duo run). At the beginning of the job, aggressive locals followed the pawn car in a station wagon and opened fire--taking out the pawn car, passenger Lane, and driver Wade. After Wade and Lane left the hospital, they were able to find and repair the disabled pawn car. However after Wade stole the first pawnshop crate of goods, he got so scuffed he couldn't drive the pawn car anymore. Lane took over driving the pawn car as Wade sat in the passenger seat hallucinating out-of-control cars. Wade was able to steal the pawnshop crates from the final four spots. She drove him (in a broken passenger seat) across the train tracks to Paleto, where they abandoned the smashed bullet-ridden pawn car. Lane also had to drive the boat for a scuffed Wade. Wade successfully collected the $10,000 in rolled cash on the island. Afterward, he napped at Chumash Pier. The Raiders MC's perfect record on heat pawn runs ended on their seventh one on March 21, 2024, when an invincible female guard with beehive hair shot down Wade and Lane at the Orange Ball spot during their duo High Risk pawn run with a Buffalo pawn car. |
To Lane's profound disappointment, Raiders MC hangaround Wyatt Jones decided to reconcile with Lumber Company President Jack Kettleman even after Wyatt had pinged her to a Sandy Shores cove thinking Jack was going to kill him. On March 15, 2024, Lane removed Wyatt as a Raiders MC hangaround fully expecting him to accept Jack's offer to return to the Lumber Company. Later that night in a phone call with Lane, Lumber Company Manager Devon Willow fumed that Rue Day had followed him and two prospective customers into their furniture showroom house joking that Jack wanted to impregnate her. He then angered Lane by threatening to shoot Rue if she ever did that again. Jack also angered Lane by purposely not returning her phone call regarding the situation. During failed attempts to meet Jack on March 17, 2024, Lane concluded that he wasn't taking her very seriously. She had Mason Calaway set Wyatt up and kidnap him with Rue. When Jack didn't keep his promise to meet Lane in 20 minutes, she lost interest in meeting him. Lane explained her disappointment to Wyatt that he had gone back to the Lumber Company despite their threat to his life, and scorned his admission that he was willing to die for them. When Jack finally phoned Lane that he was ready to meet, she told him that he and his crew don't respect them, that she had kidnapped Wyatt but spared him, and to lose her phone number. Lane ordered Rue to leave Wyatt unharmed, deleted Wyatt's phone number, and texted Jack that she knew he wanted to "remove" Wyatt. Jack read it aloud in front of the people he was talking to including Wyatt, and also shared a photo Lane had texted of Wyatt sitting alone in the Sandy Shores cove. Immediately afterward, Jack formally brought Wyatt back into the Lumber Company. The next day, in preparation for when the "cold war" turned hot, Lane got a Weapons License and bought her first legal handgun (an M1911). Rue confided in Lane that she was going to be out of town to investigate whether her estranged grandmother Ethyl Winkelfiddle had died. On March 25, 2024, Rue's boyfriend Finn Milton, Fey, and JT kidnapped a drunken Ethyl at knifepoint at her old house in front of her friends Sooty Gamwich and Keith Herman. During Finn's confrontation of Ethyl on a rainy beach, she doubled down that Rue should have never been born. Finn cut off one of her fingers with the knife Rue had given him to use on Ethyl. Lane arrived at Finn's invitation (she secretly brought her M1911 handgun along to shoot Ethyl), and asked Ethyl whether she had set the fire that almost killed Rue as a baby. Ethyl confessed she had waited for her sister to leave the house and then intentionally set the fire to try to murder Rue. Infuriated, Finn stabbed Ethyl, set her on fire, and ocean dumped her dead body. Lane didn't get to use her gun, and felt dissatisfied that Finn and the ADMC got to kill Ethyl rather than Lane and the Raiders MC. Later that day, Rue returned to Los Santos. Lane told Wade that the Raiders MC should have supported Rue on this personal matter, and told Rue that they should have shown up for her in a united front as a "family". Having previously agreed that prospect Wally West needed to step up in confidence and self-motivation to be patched into the Raiders MC, Lane, Wade Wilson, and Rue Day finally felt that Wally was ready. The Raiders MC unanimously voted to patch Wally in as the club's first non-founding Patched Member. For Wally's initiation on April 10, 2024, Lane and his sponsor Rue had him kill his pet snake from the prospecting ceremony. Afterward, the Raiders MC all congregated at the Vespucci tattoo parlor to watch Wade give Wally and his sponsor Rue matching snake tattoos. Then they all posed outside for a group photo with their brand-new Patched Member Wally. In the chapter meeting on April 13, 2024, Lane congratulated the Raiders MC on hitting their $500,000 club house fund goal (making them all eligible for a week of 100% payouts rather than the usual 25%). With Wade having bought his motorbike, Lane announced that Road Captain Maxx McAllister was next in line to be sent $70,000 from the club bike fund. |
By the time Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred ran for re-election, the Raiders MC had soured on him and felt more partial to a rival Already Dead MC candidate he hated named Solomon Walker. On April 19, 2024 at the Chumash Pier, Carmine Costello overheard Rue Day's phone call in her car where she said if Mayor Max is here she needs to leave (because she was still mad about his demeaning response to her PD quota system question). When Carmine told Max (who mistook her for Rue Minmi of the ADMC), the two of them confronted Rue at her car and antagonized her until she ran Carmine over. Rue tried to run over Max next, then chased him on foot but was thwarted by the wrench of bystander Raymond Romanov. Mason Calaway put her in her car and drove off with her. Intending to target Mayor Max's wife Siobhan Thoroughbred, Wade Wilson looked up her information at Davis City Hall. Immediately afterward outside of the building, Wade and Rue ran into Mayor Max and Siobhan. During a heated exchange of words, Max associated Rue with the ADMC and claimed Solomon was attempting to seize control of the government for the ADMC. Max swore to Wade and Rue that if he got re-elected, he would make their lives a living hell. Wade threatened back, "So will we." Siobhan texted her friend Lane that Wade was a "hater" under the expectation that she would reprimand her own VP, and Max said he couldn't wait to outlaw motorcycle clubs. Later that day, Rue and Wally West found Max's car and robbed it; then Wade and Wally clamped it. Then after an unarmed Finn Milton got shot by the police, Max antagonized him and Rue. On April 20, 2024, Lane saw Siobhan's "hater" text and immediately sided with Wade without knowing what happened. Once their text exchange ended with Lane texting that she didn't care what Siobhan thought, Siobhan blocked her. Afterward, Lane twatted "Max, should probably check on your wife, she seems hysterical". Later that day in the election announcement, Max won a second term as Mayor of Los Santos while ADMC candidate Solomon Walker won Deputy Mayor as the runner-up. Lane and Wade agreed to still target Siobhan (regardless of whether she was Chief of Staff) and Max, and entertained conspiring with the ADMC. The Raiders MC kept a lookout for Siobhan's car. On April 22, 2024 at Legion Square, Siobhan was sitting alone in the passenger seat of her car waiting for Mayor Max to return. Finn drove up to her car (with both Rue Day and Rue Minmi) without seeing her, and booted her car right in front of the police. Lane, Mason Calaway, and ADMC Rue all began slow-rolling Siobhan's car. ADMC Rue successfully fled from police Sgt. Kian McNulty's felony stop. In a Chumash Pier meeting on April 23, 2024, the newly-elected Deputy Mayor Solomon Walker explained his political agenda to Raiders MC members Lane, Wade, Maxx McAllister, and Dax Marshall. Lane criticized Mayor Max's PD quota system for monetarily incentivizing the police to stack charges. When she directly asked Solomon whether he was part of the Already Dead MC, he responded to ask him again in three months. Lane warned Solomon that Mayor Max would undoubtedly try to pass legislation against the MCs. Solomon stated that past City Council members lacked backbone, and that he wouldn't be afraid to voice a dissenting opinion. Lane and Solomon went over the City Council members who might side against Mayor Max, and agreed that the current government legislation was too controlling. Lane and Wade vowed to keep antagonizing Mayor Max. Wade vouched for Serge Cross in the runoff election for Head of BAR Association, but his competitor Murphy Braun ended up winning it. In a Chumash Pier meeting on April 24, 2024, Lane conspired with Mayor Max's ex-Chief of Staff Juno Sweeney, who still held a grudge against him and Siobhan. Juno told Lane she wanted to hurt someone Max loved to take some control away from him. After Lane gave her intel on Siobhan, Juno agreed with Lane to postpone a kidnapping because of the recency of the mayoral election. Lane then asked Juno what she saw in her boyfriend Vito DiCenzo. |
On April 23, 2024 for the Raiders MC's first-ever heist of the Suds Law Laundromat, six of them all dressed the same in white suits with identical bull masks for a "shell game" plan. Lane cut the generator power, alphabet-hacked the inside power box to disable the power, and broke washing machines and dryers with Wade for coins. Wade Wilson stole the Orange USB and successfully lockpick-hacked the safe open for banded cash and a Blueprint - Turbo Coggers Washing Machines. Rue Day held Rod Raige hostage, gave customer Shang Liu food after she had to turn him away, and negotiated with Snr. Officer Flop Dugong. During the ensuing police chase, Wade drove Lane and Rue in a red Draugur to the red garage where Wally West, Mason Calaway, and Dax Marshall were waiting with two other stolen Draugurs: one blue and one white. All six of the Raiders MC crew shuffled around each other, and split up evenly into the three colored cars (two of the cars being decoys with no loot). Cadet Crocodile Steve (with Snr. Officer Cletus Cornwood as his passenger) and Snr. Officer Ellis Pinzon chased the blue Draugur driven by Wally West with Rue as his passenger. Officer Alexis Onfire chased the correct swap car with all of the loot, the white Draugur driven by Wade with Lane as his passenger, but broke off to help Pinzon chase the blue Draugur. No police chased Mason (with Dax as his passenger) in the red Draugur, so he drove interference for Wally. Wally eventually lost all the police in a wild chase. The Raiders MC exchanged 10,987 coins for about $2746 in banded cash. Afterward, Wade gave Rue $30,000 in club funds (and Lane also gave Rue about $13,000 in "friend money") to help Rue buy her first motorbike. Rue bought a Hexer from Finn Milton at Mosley's Auto. |
Having thrown all of her bipolar medication into the ocean near the beginning of March 2024, Lane's second manic episode in Los Santos started on April 28, 2024. On the eve of Lane's latest manic episode on April 28, 2024, she laughed off a situation where ADMC Road Captain Shang Liu phoned a death threat to Rue Day over a Milton's Mods incident where she had shrugged off the owner Ivy Grayson's criticism of jokingly robbing a mechanic. Lane found the situation too stupid to take seriously. When Rue blamed herself for the recent Raiders MC issues (including the ones with their hangaround Aubrey Synnefo and Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred), Lane said those weren't actually Rue's fault. Lane stated that even if they were at war with ADMC, she would never shoot Finn first because of his protection under the Raiders MC rule against harming another club member's loved ones. Rue revealed that if the police had targeted Finn for killing Ethyl Winkelfiddle, that she would have turned herself in with the murder weapon and would have falsely confessed to the murder to save him. Lane got upset by this and accused Rue of choosing Finn over both the Raiders MC and Lane, and left the conversation abruptly with a parting shot that Finn was waiting on Rue. When Rue said she wanted Lane to know that she heard her, Lane replied that hearing her wasn't enough. Shang's girlfriend Allie--who still hated Rue and blamed her constant stirring as a predominant reason for leaving the Raiders MC--approved of Shang putting Rue in check because Allie felt that Finn and the Raiders MC let Rue get away with too much attitude. In a private Chumash Pier meeting with Lane on April 29, 2024, Allie didn't like Lane calling both Ivy and Shang childish, and was concerned why Lane was so calm. Lane stated that she lost a lot of respect for Shang, that her opinions of the ADMC had been reaffirmed, and that Shang let the personal bias he shared with Allie cloud him into behaving rashly. Lane also detailed her confusion over why Ivy went to a gang member over a business issue instead of just handling it herself, how anyone was expected to know that the clean face of Milton's Mods was getting prospected into the ADMC, and why Shang jumped straight to a death threat instead of something more coherent. Allie finally voiced her belief that Rue would continue to be a problem for the Raiders MC because of how she stirs and lacks respect for non-Raiders, and that she deserved to be stood up to for her rudeness even if it was the wrong situation. Lane replied that Shang should have just phrased it like that, because whatever message he tried to send got lost in the death threat. When Allie insisted that she left the Raiders MC because of Rue, Lane asserted her opinion that Allie would have still left the club even without Rue there. Allie got frustrated and left. Later that day, Allie told her brother Mason Calaway that she let Rue drive her away from everything she cared about, and that Allie would lose even more if the Rue incident had triggered a war between the two clubs. Allie finally confessed to Mason that their Uncle Warner wasn't the one who had shot his father--that Uncle Warner had actually been covering for her and Lane. During a Chumash Pier conversation with a devastated Mason, Lane had to hold back the manic urge to laugh. She nonchalantly confirmed what Allie said, and unapologetically stated that personally she never would have told him. At Mason's insistence, she explained that his father had killed his mother and covered it up with a fire--so Lane helped Allie shoot him and afterward her Uncle Warner told them to leave. As Mason walked away crestfallen, Lane smiled to herself. In a conversation with Shang, Allie got worried by his hypothetical about threatening Lane's life--reminding him that she was lifelong friends with her. Afterward, Lane ran into Allie at Ammu-Nation, sprinted past Shang, and drove off howling. Back at ouch, Wade noticed that Lane was walking differently. For the Raiders MC's second laundromat heist on May 1, 2024, a complication arose when the owner of the Draugur that Wade Wilson stole followed him, Maxx McAllister, and their hostage Turgle Suggulon to the Suds Law Laundromat. Maxx cut the generator power then guarded the Draugur from the watching owner as Wade held Turgle hostage; Lane alphabet-hacked the inside power box to disable the power, rushed out of the laundromat with the Green USB, and sped off on her motorbike; Maxx took over holding Turgle hostage outside and started negotiating with Snr. Officer Leon Cassidy unsure of how many of the Raiders MC were still inside; Wade clutched out the lockpick-hack of the safe on his seventh attempt for $16,500 in banded cash, drove Maxx in the Draugur (which the owner was still tracking) from the police, dropped her off with the banded cash at a motel in Sandy for Rue Day to pick up (with Dax Marshall supporting), lost the police car chasing him, and parked the Draugur back at the owner's house. Lane picked Wade up outside of Allie's house, and coincidentally crashed into the Draugur owner as they were leaving. Everyone got out. With Mason Calaway's relationship with girlfriend Veronica Westfield now serious enough for them to start saving up for a house together in Paleto, Lane was impressed that Veronica volunteered one of their parking spaces as a stash for the Raiders MC's weed pushing (Lane saw the whole house as a personal space which wasn't owed to the club). The Raiders MC also had no issues with Veronica ever since Lane had talked to her about her slip-up with Finn Milton months ago that had led Irish and the ADMC to surround Mason at Chumash Pier. At Lane's suggestion, Mason approached Veronica about whether she'd be open to becoming an Old Lady for the Raiders MC--a lifetime commitment that could only be ended by blooding out. When The Company disbanded on May 8, 2024, they divided their assets four ways between the four board members. Their former Legal Business General Manager Beverly Brekker stored 40 GPUs, 10 mining racks, and 13 washing machines (his partner Mickey Sinclaire's share of the assets) in the Raiders MC ouch under a tentative agreement that they split the 33 daily Butcoin 50/50 (a currency that the Raiders MC had been mining at 8 a day to purchase their heist contracts). Then in a Chumash Pier conversation with Lane and Wade Wilson, Bev offered to be a clean face for the Raiders MC. Lane revisited the idea of making Bev an Old Lady. She and Wade also discovered that ouch's bad Internet had been fixed and that they could now mine Butcoin from there--meaning they could now move the computer and racks from Lane's apartment back to ouch (which they did on May 11, 2024). In a Chumash Pier conversation with Veronica on May 10, 2024, Lane explained that an Old Lady role would open up the club part of Mason's life currently kept secret from her--but would also put her fate in his hands. Veronica disclosed to Lane that before she moved to Los Santos, she was trapped in a marriage that she had to flee from. But Veronica affirmed that she felt safe, secure, and comfortable enough with Mason to make the commitment. Lane said the Raiders MC would vote on it once Veronica felt ready. Later that night in the chapter meeting, Lane set a future club goal for 20 more mining racks and 100 Butcoin a day. Wade mentioned the club goal of buying and pushing 200 weed bricks in Paleto as a club. Lane successfully motioned to remove hangaround Aubrey Synnefo (who had left to become a hangaround for the Bondi Boys MC) and inactive hangaround Kermy Fulker from the club. Mason gave the Raiders MC a heads up that he wanted Veronica as his Old Lady, to which Lane vouched for--adding that if approved, Veronica would become a key foundational vote on future Old Ladies. Lane announced that they would workshop a brand-new ritual for bringing in Old Ladies. The club rode off on their motorbikes without helmets in defiance of the new law. With The District now dissolved and thousands of their unused Butcoin in storage, Kian Mercer pitched a gun running & distribution partnership to Lane and Wade on May 12, 2024 where Kian would stay clean and pay for Ammunation jobs for the Raiders MC to risk running. They negotiated splitting the guns roughly 50-50. For the Raiders MC's fourth laundromat heist on May 12, 2024, Rue Day was stunlocked by Lane's suggestion to invite Allie to do it with them--but ended up acquiescing to it. Wade Wilson cut the generator power; Lane alphabet-hacked the inside power box to disable the power, stole the Blue USB, and immediately dipped with Wade on his stolen motorbike in front of the first responding police unit; Rue (dressed as a glowing raver) held the hostage and negotiated with the police; Wally West (also dressed as a raver) one-shot the lockpick-hack on the safe, broke washing machines and dryers for coins, and drove Rue from the police to a bait-and-switch inside of red garage; Wally's decoy Mason Calaway drove Rue's decoy Allie in an identical Gauntlet, but the police didn't fall for the bait-and-switch; Wade drove Lane in a supporting Gauntlet; and Wally eventually lost the police himself without needing Mason's garage block. Wade picked up Wally and Rue. On May 13, 2024, Wade bought the Red USB and Yellow USB from Lexi Law for a total of $10,000. Lane traded in all 6 USBs to unlock two new cash exchange heists for the Raiders MC: Strawberry Cash Exchange and Rancho Cash Exchange (and also an extra unicorn on a stick named Sparkle). Later that day, Lane delivered Beverly Brekker's 13 washing machines to the newly-bought warehouse shared by him and his partners Swan DeLeur (whom Bev had set her up with) and Mickey Sinclaire. Bev asked Lane to help him and Swan decorate the inside of the warehouse. By the time Lane had returned from the wedding of her friend Haley in Nashville, she was starting to come down from her manic episode. On May 22, 2024, Lane sent the final 68 Butcoin of crypto to Beverly Brekker--but couldn't wait to return his GPUs and mining racks as she was still mad about his poor reaction to her prank that she was dating his crush April Fooze. Visiting Nomad Taylor Archer reunited with the Raiders MC and was the getaway driver for their fifth laundromat heist, where they all dressed up as Baywatch lifeguards. Wade cut the generator power; Lane alphabet-hacked the inside power box to disable the power, stole the Red USB, and broke washing machines and dryers for coins with Rue, Mason, and Taylor; and Wade lockpick-hacked the safe open and left the laundromat with the banded cash and the USB. No police responded. According to their hostage Tanner Phillips, the police were busy with a Bolingbroke Penitentiary shootout that had claimed the life of Senior Officer Aziz Sultan. After Rue and Lane tried to threaten Tanner to call one of his friends as part of Lane's idea to stack hostages until the police show up, the heist crew ended up returning Tanner to his motorbike. Rue felt bad that Finn Milton was the one who shot out Tanner's eye because he was in earshot when Rue broke up with Finn. Taylor dropped Lane and Mason off at the swap spot where Veronica Westfield was guarding the jet skis, then chased down Tanner's motorbike so Rue could kidnap him again. The Raiders MC escaped with Tanner on the jet skis to Chumash Pier. After Rue misunderstood Lane and ocean dumped Tanner, the Raiders MC rescued him and Veronica resuscitated him. Afterward, Swan DeLeur and co. picked up Bev's share of the GPUs and mining racks from the Raiders MC. Also, Irish asked Taylor about her going Nomad in the Raiders MC and what would make her stay in the city. The Raiders MC continued to push weed bricks in Paleto, and bought an expensive gun blueprint for 300 Butcoin to start crafting a GC19x 9mm handgun. |
For Beverly Brekker's "Sewer Scramble" heist plan on May 29, 2024, he fronted the 300 Butcoin (in exchange for 30% of the banded cash) and coached the Raiders MC through their first-ever Rancho Cash Exchange Heist. Lane disabled the smart lock in the back with a Clipper Chimp Hero Ultra to unlock the back door; Lane alphabet-hacked the indoor power box to disable the door locks; Wade Wilson held Kenny Okafor hostage and negotiated with the police; Maxx McAllister successfully completed the word memory hack to unlock the vault door; and a silent Mason Calaway guarded the back door from the police there. The Raiders MC grabbed banded cash and a Money Printer 3000 from the vault, but encountered an unexpected new development where the vault contained much more banded cash than the heist crew could carry. Wade unsuccessfully tried to negotiate with the police to let the heist crew store loot in the trunk of the getaway car (they rejected the police's deal that one hostage taker turn themselves in exchange for the trunk access). Leaving behind roughly $40,000 in banded cash, Wade drove the heist crew from the police. The slow, weighed down heist crew had to abandon Bev's plan for Mason to carry the loot into the sewers past his identically-dressed decoy Rue Day. Rue instead helped Wally West block a couple of police cars with a box truck. Per Lane's orders, Mason jumped out with the money printer, swapped into Wally's waiting pickup car, and escaped with the money printer and $17,585 in banded cash. Combined with the loot that Lane escaped with, the Raiders MC got away with about $37,000 in banded cash (with about $3000 owed to Bev after the prison fines). Wade and Maxx got caught by the police. Afterward in The Guild warehouse, Shang Liu explained the hacks at the Maze Bank heist to Lane and Wade. Later that night, Already Dead MC High Command Edbert Ropeburn invited the Raiders MC to hang out with them in The Boneyard. For the Raiders MC's second cash exchange heist on June 4, 2024, they disguised themselves in Trickster outfits with large duffel bags to hold all of the loot this time. Lane used the Clipper Chimp Hero Ultra to disable the smart lock on the back of the Strawberry Cash Exchange, alphabet-hacked the indoor power box to disable the door locks, eventually completed the word memory hack to unlock the vault door, and grabbed $58,100 in banded cash; Wally West held Nate Rose hostage and negotiated with Senior Officer Matt Rhodes and deputized police officer Siobhan Thoroughbred; Rue Day guarded the back door and grabbed the rest of the banded cash ($37,350); Wally drove getaway from the police in a stolen Enus; and Lane swapped onto Wade Wilson's waiting motorbike to escape into the tunnels with the $58,100 in banded cash. Although Wally initially escaped from the police with passenger Rue, they had no lockpick to swap cars and Snr. Officer Rhodes found them and their stolen Enus at a clothing store. The police detained Wally. Mason Calaway (who brought them a lockpick) drove off with Rue on Veronica Westfield's motorbike--but Mason ejected off it. The police caught Mason and Rue with her share of the loot. With the police chasing Wally in the stolen Enus, he swapped into Wade's pick-up vehicle, swapped into Dax Marshall's pick-up car, and then ejected from it. The police caught Wally and Dax. Afterward, Beverly Brekker went to double-check whether Lane had overlooked the sticker booklet. Defense attorneys Uriel Whitlock and Kit Archer represented Rue and Wally for the subsequent appeal that they won on July 10, 2024, with the prosecution also dropping the related robbery and kidnapping charges against Mason. |
Lessons Learned: 0 (May 2024-June 2024)[]
Synopsis: Lane's dreams for the Raiders MC finally come true with four new Chumash properties, two new Chumash turfs, train tickets for the rest of the club, and custom Raiders MC kuttes. But her grudge against the Already Dead MC (particularly against their leaders Irish and Shang Liu) leads to a bad pier conversation between her and Shang over his ex-girlfriend Allie--erupting into a war with ADMC six months in the making. Following a "week from hell" where angry turfless gangs gun down the Raiders MC three days in a row for denying them the south Chumash turf, Lane reflects that the number of lessons she learned was zero. Lane and Wade blood out Nomad Taylor Archer for asking to hand in her kutte over the direction of the Raiders MC--but her friend Irish secretly saves her life afterward.
On May 31, 2024, the Raiders MC bought up the three residential Chumash houses on Barbareno Rd along the beach by Chumash Pier:
They moved their assets to Chumash from their old El Burro Heights,Amarillo Vista,5 clubhouse (leaving the furniture) on Fudge Lane, and Lane listed it on sale for $450,000. Later that night, Lane and Wade sent Rue Day, Mason Calaway, Dax Marshall, Veronica Westfield, and hangaround Blue on a mission to intercept and steal a shipment of the Raiders MC kuttes (being held indefinitely in "customs" by the Los Santos port authority) from a black Packer semi-truck. They swarmed after the Packer on motorbikes and a Draugur, and eventually robbed its two big rig drivers Bobby Jean and Bobbie Kay of their shipping boxes. Alerted by Bobbie's 911 call, the police chased after the heist crew and eventually captured Blue and Mason. Holding all three of the shipping boxes, Rue ran from police Commissioner/Mayor Maximilian Thoroughbred but got caught by Probationary Officer Loki Skylizard. Dax searched Rue's car, found nothing, got chased by Probationary Officer Crocodile Steve, and incapacitated himself in a car crash and was arrested. Loki confiscated all three shipping boxes of Raiders MC kuttes from Rue to hold in the PD evidence locker for up to 30 days. On June 1, 2024, the Raiders MC bought a fourth Chumash property through a $252,000 loan (with 25% interest) from Hazel Havgreaves, a commercial "No Marks Cleaners" dry cleaning shop at Chumash,Ineseno Road,32 (336 ft with 0 garage slots) for $282,800. Hank Marston convinced someone to buy the Raiders MC's old Fudge Lane clubhouse for $450,000 (Lane got $440,000 in her bank account). Wade immediately paid off their loan from Hazel for $315,000. Lane architected the interior of the shop to look like a laundromat (where they could clean money). In a diet chapter meeting on June 3, 2024, Lane congratulated the Raiders MC on the four properties they purchased in Chumash. Having paid back the personal loan from Allie, Wade mentioned that they still had to pay back loans from Mason Calaway, Veronica Westfield, and Kermy Fulker. Wade and Lane clarified that any money donated to the club for properties would go toward the donors' own personal homes, and that they didn't owe club dues in the meantime. Lane also clarified that any club member can approve someone asking to buy a Chumash property--but stipulated to only approve a purchase of "Mom's Pie" if the buyer plans to actually open a business there. She specified that she wanted people to come to Chumash to build it up, and that the commercial Chumash properties should only go to businesses investing into the area. She encouraged the club to practice chop hacks for the Maze Bank heist, went over her new lingo for the four Chumash properties and pushing weed in Paleto (to intentionally confuse the police), and ordered the club to stop engaging with The Saints and their daily twatter bait (except to re-twat their sarcastic "motorcycle clubs are so cool" twats), and mentioned Sgt. Alice Watson would try to release their kuttes from evidence before the 30 days. Lane stated that their hangaround Blue hadn't accepted a hangaround offer from the Already Dead MC, removed inactive hangaround Leonidas "Leo" Lantsov without any objections, and removed Valeria "Val" Rodriguez as a Hangaround (without any objections) because of a consensus that she wasn't serious enough about what the club wants her to take seriously--but Lane stipulated that she'll have a conversation with Val about it. One proposed Hangaround was accepted (no vetoes): Wally West nominated Georgia Priestly. Having finished the first round of time trials, Lane announced the second round of time trials. She also announced that her and Rue Day were finalizing the Old Lady procedure, and got feedback from the club that Veronica was ready for it. Finally, Lane mandated a weekly Monday break from grinding, reminded the club to make friends outside of the club, and closed that money could be cleaned at their "Matt's" laundromat soon. To the relief of Wade and Lane, they verified on June 6, 2024 that the aspiring food business owner whom Wade had approved, Pyder Mann, had bought the "Mom's Pie" property on Chumash,Inseno Road,31. But some time later, they learned that Pyder Mann got deported. |
In addition to Lane's passionate belief in the Raiders MC rule against harming other club members' loved ones, she saw the Old Lady process as important to the morale of club members who could now share that part of their life with their significant others.
In the chapter meeting on June 7, 2024, Mason Calaway's girlfriend Veronica Westfield formally requested the honor of becoming an Old Lady of the Raiders MC. The club went in a circle asking her questions and voicing their opinions. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 7-0 in front of Veronica to blood her in as the first Old Lady of their club. In a Chumash Pier meeting with Lane on June 8, 2024, Raiders MC hangaround Aoki "Blue" Ma revealed that she just wanted to be friends with them, but wouldn't confirm that she had accepted Finn Milton's offer to become a hangaround for the Already Dead MC (even though Rue had seen evidence of it). Lane expressed disappointment and anger, especially because the Raiders MC had recently invited Blue to their special kuttes heist. Blue chalked up her decision to join ADMC as "personal history". Afterward, Lane, Rue, and Mason lamented that Blue probably had the votes to become a Raiders MC prospect. Later that day on June 8, 2024, Lane and Wade announced to Rue Day, Mason Calaway, and Wally West that they received better train tickets. Dax Marshall and club friend Allie also celebrated their new train tickets. On June 10, 2024, the Raiders MC got new shirts, hoodies, and caps. Loki mailed the kuttes from PD custody to the Raiders MC on a next-day delivery. The weed and turf stuff also moved to a new Hideout application. The Raiders MC conferred with their "Paleto cartel" weed ally, The Guild, at their warehouse twice to compare notes on the changes in the city. On June 11, 2024 with Nomad Taylor Archer in town, Misha Standal of Chaos Legion MC alerted Wade that both the north and south areas of Chumash could now be claimed as turf in the Hideout application. A stressed Wade hurriedly borrowed 250 Butcoin from Beverly Brekker to buy a Hideout Receiver, and placed it inside of their Birdhouse on Barbareno Rd in Chumash. Given that the Raiders MC also owned the laundromat on Ineseno Road, they borrowed 250 Butcoin from Maxwell Goethe of The Neon Tigers MC to place a receiver in that area of Chumash too (to hold for a future ally of their choice interested in buying a house in that turf). Relieved, the Raiders MC drove to the Chumash Plaza clothing store, stitched their kuttes and patches together, and tried on their custom kuttes for the first time ever. Lane gave an emotional speech about the six months of work they endured to finally realize their dream of kuttes, motorbikes, Chumash houses, and turf. Maxx thanked Lane and Wade for their leadership. They all removed their masks and went in a circle explaining what the patches on their kuttes meant. Afterward, Maxx led the Raiders MC on their first full club ride with every member present. In a meeting with the Raiders MC, Yeager Demonblood (and Barry Svensson) forewarned them that people would come for their turf and gave them advice about how to hold it. Lane informed the Raiders MC on her plan to push on their new Chumash turf, and that they would continue their weed relationship with The Guild and the "Paleto cartel". She stated a goal to repay all of the generous people who helped them. |
Later on June 11, 2024, The Hidden and Road Captain Shang Liu of the Already Dead MC separately approached the Raiders MC about operating from the Ineseno Road turf in south Chumash (which still had one house left that the Raiders MC were willing to sell). Shang invited Wade to be a pickup driver for a Cash Exchange heist. Still blaming Shang for neglecting her best friend Allie until she broke up with him (causing her to stay at Lane's place and start drinking), Lane reluctantly met with him on the Chumash Pier to hear out his pitch for taking over the Ineseno Road turf in Chumash. She reminded him that he had recently threatened to chop off Rue's head over a hangaround, and how the ADMC had once pressed Mason on the Raiders MC turf. Fully admitting to being petty, she called him next-to-delusional that the Raiders MC would trust ADMC to move into Chumash. When she added that he had broken the heart of her favorite person Allie, the conversation started getting personal. Lane stated that Allie just wanted any of his time and attention, and credited Shang's hard work for shouldering ADMC but said that he hadn't put that same drive into his relationship with Allie. When Lane asked why she should put all that aside to work with Shang, he answered that because "sharks" would come after them--and that their two MCs could finally make peace. When Shang said he didn't want to talk about Allie anymore, Lane promised not to bring it up again. Lane emphasized that she wanted to hear a pitch for why the ADMC should get the turf rather than the other interested groups who hadn't slighted the Raiders MC in any way. Vice Prime Minister Irish came onto the pier to sidebar with Shang. Continuing the conversation with Lane, Shang defended his death threat to Rue and his break-up with Allie. When Lane responded that she had promised not to comment on Allie, Shang threatened to shoot her in the head if she did. Lane told Shang to get off her pier, and he shot her down. Caught off guard, Wade, Rue, Mason, and Wally scrambled to get their guns and a shootout ensued on Chumash turf against Shang, Irish, and Finn Milton. Mason shot down Shang before getting gunned down by the ADMC (ending up in the ICU as a result). Irish, Finn, and Benny Razer escaped with a downed Shang. Unpersuaded by the ADMC's offer, the Raiders MC heard out The Hidden next. The Hidden were interested in a temporary weed turf until they could move to Playa Vista. Lane explained the Raiders MC's vision to build up Chumash. They verbally agreed to sell the house in south Chumash to The Hidden, and for The Hidden to sell the house back if they decided to move. Later that night, Irish reached out to Lane to meet for another talk on Mirror Park dam. Wade and Shang also attended. Lane owned up to her personal issues with Shang, and that she didn't respect the ADMC club. But she insisted that she had laid out the past six months intending to squash it, and that Shang had responded to her de-escalation with escalation. Given that the Raiders MC and ADMC had been mingling recently, Irish asked why Lane didn't respect the ADMC club. She repeated her previous two examples of the ADMC looking down at the Raiders MC. When she pointed out that she was the only one acknowledging her mistake, Shang insisted he did nothing wrong--despite conceding that his personal feelings had driven him to shoot her. Lane drew a line that the two clubs could not move forward until Shang acknowledged that he was wrong for shooting her. He refused to say the three words, and doubled down that he would do it again. Lane and Wade walked away. Afterward, Irish met alone with Lane, Wade, Rue, and Wally outside of Big Ouch without Shang there. When Irish asked whether they thought the ADMC respected the Raiders MC, they all answered no. Lane said the disrespect went as far back as when they first met the ADMC, and never really changed. She characterized the shooting as six months of frustration that boiled over. Lane said that if Shang acknowledged that he acted too rashly, that the two clubs could wipe the slate of the last six months clean and start fresh. But when Irish admitted he would've done the same thing as Shang, Lane declined their working relationship for the time being and characterized the clubs' relationship as a "gray space". Irish then threatened war against them to take the Chumash turf by force. Lane decided to give the south Chumash turf to The Hidden. On June 12, 2024, the Raiders MC finally met ADMC Prime Minister Barry Benson for the first time when he and the ADMC interrupted a Chumash Pier meeting that Lane, Wade, Rue, Dax, and Wally were about to have with The Hidden (Wade managed to call The Hidden off in time). With Hades in the Chumash area scouting turfs--and Snr. Deputy Declan Crane (who was responding to a weed call in Chumash) spying on the pier meeting from afar--Benji Ramos eavesdropped on the pier meeting and overheard that the Raiders MC were selling the south Chumash turf. Benji urgently pleaded with Lane's ex-husband Beverly Brekker over the phone to tell Lane that Benji wanted to buy the turf instead. After a combative argument between Barry and Lane over the Raiders MC claiming two turfs, the ADMC gunned all of the Raiders MC down. Barry threatened that the Raiders MC better give away the second turf for free to another group. As the police responded and got in a shootout with the ADMC, Benji unsuccessfully tried to escape with an unconscious Lane out of self-interest for a possible turf deal with her. Afterward in a meeting with Benji, Raymond Romanov, and Hades, Barry offered to back off because of Hades' competing interest in the south Chumash turf. Snr. Deputy Declan warned the Raiders MC that they were one more incident away from getting gang-related shooting--even though none of them had taken guns to the pier meeting. Lane declined Benji's offer for south Chumash because she had already finalized the deal with The Hidden. Rue finally sold the Raiders MC's Ineseno Road house (complete with its own Hideout Receiver and computer) to The Hidden for $850,000 ($399,000 for the house and $451,000 for the turf) and 600 Butcoin. The Hidden confirmed that they now owned the Ineseno Road turf. Lane affirmed that she never wanted to see ADMC again, and didn't even want the Raiders MC to have ADMC friends anymore--spelling doom for Rue Day and Finn Milton (Rue subsequently spent the next few weeks calling him from pay phones and silently listening to his voice). The Raiders MC were able to repay the personal loans and Butcoin they still owed. Lane was also open to letting turfless people push weed in north Chumash. On June 13, 2024, Hades continued to drive around scouting for turf. Wade, Lane, and Rue hesitantly answered Benji's questions about who The Hidden's leaders are. Benji and Ray asked The Hidden questions about their turf, tried to gauge their interest in moving or trading, asked if Hades could buy houses and live in south Chumash, and asked who their leaders are. Accusing the Raiders MC of "playing dumb" and Lane misrepresenting the truth earlier about who owns south Chumash, Benji persuaded Ray to help him and Hades shoot down Wade and Rue in front of Big Ouch. Ray also shot at Mason across the beach. Afterward in a phone call, Lane denied lying to Benji, said she would have been open to working with him had she known of his interest before The Hidden deal, and added that she hoped he got screwed on turf for ICU'ing one of her members. |
During the hilltop ceremony officiated by Lane on June 13, 2024 to blood Veronica Westfield into the Raiders MC as their first Old Lady, she stood in a circle of candles lined by Lane, Wade Wilson, Rue Day, Dax Marshall, Wally West, and Mason Calaway. Lane commended Veronica for how long she's been together with Mason because of how much he gets on Lane's nerves, that Veronica will be with the club 'til death do us part, and that she was glad that their first Old Lady was Veronica. Veronica recited the Raiders MC's Old Lady vows:
Veronica then recited vows to Mason that she wrote herself. Lane reminded her that she will be a Raider that every club member would lay down their life to protect. For the ritual, Mason joined Veronica in the circle. He drank snake venom wine from a chalice, followed by Veronica. Rue tied a rope onto Veronica's left arm, and Mason lit it on fire with a candle. The rope burned her arm before finally falling to the ground. Lane concluded the ceremony with, "Veronica Westfield, from this moment forward, the Raiders MC recognizes you as our first Old Lady. Congratulations." Everybody celebrated. Afterward, Veronica tried on the Raiders MC Old Lady kutte for the first time. In the first diet chapter meeting with Veronica in attendance on June 14, 2024, Lane recapped why this week was their best (kuttes, V as first Old Lady, new Chumash turf) and also the week from hell (gunned down the last three consecutive days over the south Chumash turf drama). She encouraged the club to make deals and form relationships with people who don't jump to shooting when words don't work out, and who don't take "no" so personally. She mentioned 100 of The Guild's weed bricks to push on their new north Chumash turf, discussed the new money runs, and encouraged the club to get to know The Hidden. She also warned that because Hydra Gang stole one of her legal guns and ADMC stole another, she was bound to lose her gun license and get raided--therefore, she wanted Matt's to be transferred to Veronica. Finally, Lane relayed that their hangaround Georgia Priestly confirmed she wanted to work toward prospecting into the Raiders MC. Afterward, Lane and Wade consented to let 3-4 Sirens sell weed in Chumash if they didn't fit on The Hidden's app. Lane eventually got a text that her Weapons License got revoked and to return all of her weapons to PD. Irish's explicit order to Fey to shoot bystander Veronica (who had surrendered to Fey with her hands up) during the ADMC war caused drama on June 18, 2024 when she confronted her adoptive sister Kiki Pendragon about how she could still be friends with Irish after his pattern of hurting their loved ones. In a conversation with Mason about it, Lane affirmed that the Raiders MC do not have a division between "personal" and "club" business; and that they stand up for their members' loved ones. |
Having found out about the Already Dead MC war from her friend Irish, Nomad Taylor Archer blamed herself for leaving her High Command position as Sergeant At Arms. Despite a respect for Lane, Taylor told Wade Wilson and Lane on June 17, 2024 that she wasn't onboard with the direction of the Raiders MC, i.e., her perception that their conflicts could have been avoided, and asked to hand in her kutte (and returned her motorbike gift to Wade). Lane called Taylor ignorant for judging her without much context, i.e., not bothering to hear the Raiders MC's side of the story first before she made her decision, and added that she never felt like Taylor was a part of their club. Lane took her SIM card to safeguard the club secrets on it, explained the significance of the Sandy spot they were standing in (since Taylor didn't know the club's blooding in ritual), and had a rattlesnake bite Taylor's left arm several times. Wade told Taylor, "Bye," and shot her in the side of the head. Lane and Wade left without taking Taylor's kutte back. Having been pinged by Taylor beforehand, Irish waited around nearby and was eager at the opportunity to finally poach her from the Raiders MC's "deranged" President Lane. Although he initially wanted Finn Milton to give Taylor medical attention, he allowed Finn to leave due to his principle against interfering with another MC's blooding out in such a way. Irish and Kelly Dean rushed Taylor to the hospital themselves and saved her life in time from the snake venom and gunshot wound. Lane and Wade shrugged at Taylor's texts with Irish including the most recent one pinging him--but the rest of the Raiders MC were incredulous about it all. Wally contended that the Raiders MC were probably in conflict the least. Rue couldn't understand how Taylor could make a life and death decision like that wouldn't even hearing her "own side's side" of the situation. Lane later mused with Allie that Irish likely saved Taylor's life, and for the next blood out Lane will just take the SIM card earlier so they can't ping anyone. |
Chumash Turf Politics and Heroin Overdose (June 2024-July 2024)[]
Synopsis: Lane's latest depression from her post-manic episode crash worsens when her unrequited love Juno Sweeney leaves crime behind and goes clean, and Lane struggles with substance abuse again. The Raiders MC investigate whether The Hidden made a secret agreement with the Kilo Tray Ballas for them to claim the second turf spot in south Chumash, given that neither group gave the Raiders MC a courtesy call about it. The Raiders MC then invite the Lost MC to claim the other turf spot in north Chumash to avoid more unwanted surprises. Allie retrieves an unresponsive Lane from Las Vegas after she relapses and overdoses on heroin there, but infuriates the Raiders MC by confiding in ex-boyfriend Shang Liu about it and not letting any of the club see Lane in the ICU. Allie subsequently moves away from the city for the first time without her best friend Lane.
In addition to welcoming other groups onto the Raiders MC app for pushing weed in Chumash such as The Hidden's allies The Sirens and a recently turfless Chaos Legion MC, the Raiders MC started a neighborhood watch with The Hidden in Chumash where they alerted each other about police presence and any new residents in the area, for example, twatting a code word as an alert for cops sighted in Chumash. On June 18, 2024, Hidden member Elliot Clyne warned Lane that Saints member Zale Adair had moved in next door to him where former police officer Louise Campbell lived (Zale was Louise's new boyfriend). Lane also considered letting The Hidden use Matt's to wash their money. Lane's latest depression from her post-manic episode crash worsened when her unrequited love Juno Sweeney left crime behind and went clean, i.e., got expunged and became a doctor again (as well as confused feelings for Rue). On June 19, 2024, a moody Lane passed on a business meeting with Chris King (from Chang Gang) where he pitched a deal to Rue Day and Maxx McAllister to trade materials for spots on the Raiders MC Hideout app. On June 20, 2024 to avoid relapsing into heroin, Lane started binge sleeping and binge drinking until she blacked out. To troll Beverly Brekker on June 21, 2024, Benji Ramos called a drunk Lane and offered to help pay for Rue's heart surgery (even though he was the who had shot her); then lied to Bev that he hadn't called her. A miserable Lane watched Juno drive off on a 2-week vacation. The police heat on Chumash continued. On June 22, 2024, the Raiders MC discovered that every turf could now have two groups in it, opening up one new spot in north Chumash and one new spot in south Chumash. ADMC Sergeant At Arms Kelly Dean gave Rue Day a heads up. As lookout Wade scouted north Chumash on "satellite", the police rolled up on the Raiders MC selling weed and chased after Dax Marshall and Rue. Before getting caught by the police, Rue and Dax managed to toss their illegal stuff for Wade to pick up. To the Raiders MC's chagrin, Mason Calaway had escaped (with passenger Maxx McAllister) but drove directly to Matt's to stash his illegal stuff--then when Rue got cuffed during his attempt to pick her up, he rammed police cars (a violation of the Raiders MC's no-ramming rule) and got beat down with a nightstick for punching a cop. Lane winced that the Raiders MC lost 83 in overall turf influence from Mason and Dax's prison time (and possibly from Rue's resisting arrest fine). Lane decided to punish Mason with a $1000 fine and a beating for breaking the "de-escalation first" rule. Later in the chapter meeting, Lane prioritized saving up for Chumash properties and enforced new course-correcting rules. The club discussed whether they and/or The Hidden should claim any of the two new turf spots. Wade pointed out that The Hidden wanted to leave south Chumash once Playa Vista opened up. Rue nominated Rylee Kenwood as a hangaround without any vetoes, and urged the club to stop littering around Chumash. Lane reminded the club to not attack locals in Chumash. Afterward in a Raiders MC meeting with Head Huntsmen Taylor Briggs of The Hidden, Lane warned him about the strangers who lived in their south Chumash neighborhood, and proposed that the Raiders MC preemptively place a second Hideout Receiver on Ineseno Road toward a collaborative weed pushing effort. But Lane was unable to install a Hideout Receiver at Matt's because the "Receiver already exists". Rue confirmed that the Kilo Tray Ballas had already claimed the second spot on the south Chumash turf from Roberto Breeze's house on Ineseno Road. With Lane fuming that neither KTB (whose prospect Roberto had originally gotten the Raiders MC's permission to move into the neighborhood) nor The Hidden (whom KTB hinted at knowing) had given the Raiders MC a courtesy call, the Raiders MC met with the KTB at Roberto's house to introduce themselves as holding down Chumash for the past six months. Their leader Andre Tyson confirmed that the KTB already knew The Hidden from pushing together in La Puerta. After Andre also stated that KTB wanted to stay there long-term, he agreed with Lane's vision of building Chumash up as a thriving hub with businesses. She also asked them not to hurt the passive locals in Chumash and to move their trash to the street for sanitation to grab. Andre added that they looked to buy more property in Chumash, and hinted that they would smoke the police investigating weed in the area. Afterward, Lane still felt like KTB had to make up for the bad first impression she got from them moving in unannounced, and affirmed that she'll "push everyone out of Chumash" whom wasn't explicitly invited. Following Rue's probing call with The Hidden, she and Lane suspected even more that they knew beforehand that KTB would claim the turf. Lane and Wade got burnt out pushing weed all the time trying to grind to the new maximum turf influence of 150 (rather than 50). Having never settled in a town longer than six months, Lane got angsty about living in Los Santos for six months and felt the urge to leave. Overwhelmed by the lack of support for her bad mental state and feeling abandoned by both Allie and Rue when she needed them the most, a forlorn Lane went to the hospital on June 23, 2024 with Veronica Westfield and lied about shoulder pain to get some morphine (and drank alcohol too). Having failed to get a legal opioid prescription from the hospital, Lane travelled to Las Vegas (without telling anyone) seeking drugs from her friends there--intent on abandoning the Raiders MC and never coming back to Los Santos. She met back up with her drug connect Dalton Turner and relapsed into heroin. Concerned that the open turf spot in north Chumash would attract more uninvited house-hunters, the Raiders MC decided to lend half of their Birdhouse duplex (Boobie bird) to trusted ally the Lost MC so they could place their own Hideout Receiver there. The Lost MC claimed north Chumash's second turf spot on Barbareno Rd on June 25, 2024. |
Having forgiven ex-boyfriend Shang Liu for shooting her best friend Lane in the head (with Lane's help), Allie confided in him about her search for her. Allie discovered from mutual friend Hannah that Lane was in a Las Vegas hotel and had relapsed. While hunting with Shang on June 27, 2024, their car ran out of gas and Allie asked her brother Mason Calaway to come refuel it--but didn't mention Shang was there. As Mason hid his shock and outrage at the sight of Shang, Allie talked about her search for Lane and her worrisome condition in front of the two of them. Afterward, Mason threw Shang's $1566 reimbursement for the gas into the ocean and vented to Veronica Westfield (who had gone through something similar with her adoptive sister Kiki Pendragon and Irish) that the Lane situation was a private matter that Shang shouldn't know about. Despite not wanting to burn the bridge he had worked so hard to rebuild with his sister, Mason texted Allie that he hoped she had a good reason to talk about Lane in front of Shang, that he couldn't wrap his head around it, and that she should be ashamed. Allie texted back that she'll confide in whoever she needs to. Mason texted "Makes me wonder what else you've told him", and that he was not upset at his sister but upset on behalf of his club and President. She texted back that she's not in his club, that his rules didn't apply to her, that Lane is just her friend who's missing, and that Allie called Shang instead of Mason because she didn't trust Mason. A spiraling Rue Day also distrusted what a Raiders MC enemy like Shang could do with the information about Lane's relapse into heroin, and hung up on Allie for defending her decision to confide in him. On June 30, 2024 in Las Vegas, Lane overdosed on heroin and almost died. On July 1, 2024, Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center notified Lane's primary (and only) emergency contact Allie that Dalton Turner had brought Lane into their Las Vegas hospital last night and that her condition in critical care was severe and unresponsive. Allie flew out of the city without telling Mason or Rue to find Lane (reasoning that they couldn't separate friend Lane from President Lane). On July 2, 2024, Allie had Lane transferred to ICU in the Central Los Santos Medical Center and notified Wade and Rue. Over the phone, Allie accused Rue (and Mason) of being more concerned about the club and ADMC than Lane, comparing the situation to the same one that caused Allie to leave the Raiders MC. Allie angrily acquiesced to Wally West's request that she step out of the ICU room so that Rue and Mason, who weren't on Lane's emergency contact list, could visit Lane alone. Rue floated to an unconscious Lane that she might kill Allie. Afterward over Lane's bedside, Allie and Rue heatedly argued over their six months worth of beef. Allie had the police escort Rue out of Lane's ICU room when she refused to leave. A cuffed Rue called Allie petty, shouted that she hoped she burned in hell, and that if she was ever stupid enough to trust her again she hoped she shot her first. Rue was trespassed from the ICU. Livid that Allie had confided in Shang (who hated Lane so much he shot her in the head) and wouldn't let any of the Raiders MC see Lane, the prevailing sentiment among them was that if it were anyone else but Allie then they would have murdered her. When VP Wade Wilson returned to Los Santos on July 4, 2024, he heard both sides and mediated the dispute between Allie and the Raiders MC. Having reasoned that Lane must have excluded the Raiders MC from her emergency contacts list to prevent them from seeing her that way, Allie told Wade that he is the only Raider she would allow into the ICU. Wade said he only cared about Lane's well-being, agreed with Allie that Shang wouldn't care about Lane's addiction, and added that Shang probably wouldn't even remember it. Rue complained about how hard it was to pry information about Lane from Allie, and that Rue had to sneak in earlier to see Lane because Allie's actions had gotten Rue trespassed from the ICU. Wade shut down Mason's snark that Shang probably knew more about how Lane was doing than they did, saying not to get overworked and that he'll get health updates about Lane from Allie. In response to Rue's anger that both Lane and Wade shouldn't have just left without saying anything, Wade said it was Rue's responsibility to run the club in the absence of the command members. When a detoxing Lane woke up in the ICU on July 5, 2024, she was unhappy to be back in Los Santos and unhappy that the Raiders MC and Shang knew what happened to her despite her removing everyone from her emergency contact list except for Allie. Allie informed Lane that Dalton had tried and failed to take a dying Lane out of the Las Vegas hospital. Lane cried from the guilt of giving up on her loved ones and her own sobriety, and felt too ashamed to face them. Allie counseled her not to shut people out. Allie also admitted to keeping the Raiders MC out of Lane's ICU room over the Shang drama. Later that day, all of the Raiders MC tabled their beef with Allie and met with Lane in her ICU room. Sponsor Wally West put forward Georgia Priestly's name for a prospect vote, and the Raiders MC unanimously voted 6-0 to make Georgia Priestly a prospect (Maxx McAllister's vote was not required due to Lane successfully proposing a new club rule that any members who missed three of the last four chapters are removed from the number needed for a unanimous vote). Mason Calaway successfully nominated both Nikki Styxx and Flynn Bobarge as hangarounds. On July 6, 2024, Wade, Mason, and Elliot Clyne of The Hidden investigated which blacked-out group calling themselves "Chumash Police" robbed Veronica Westfield and Maeve Gray in front of Big Ouch and ocean dumped Andre Tyson and three other Kilo Tray Ballas members (and their cars). With Lane suffering from heroin withdrawls, not wearing her kutte, and the Raiders MC unsure of how to help her, she went to push weed alone on Chumash beach on the night of July 6, 2024. She heard the police scouring the area, dumped her weed on Chumash Pier, and fled from the police into the dark ocean. After the police tried to tackle Lane in the water and chased her with a PD boat, the PD boat launched onto shore thinking Rue and V were trying to pick Lane up. As Lane continued to swim, Rue wrenched the police cars along the beach to disable them. Rue and V blocked the police boat from re-entering the water, Nikki picked up Lane's weed, and a swimming Lane lost the police. Later that same day for the start of Georgia Priestly's prospecting ceremony on Chumash Pier, Lane took a deep breath and put her red kutte back on. While walking back from Sandy Shores with her rattlesnake, Georgia fought off a murder kitty and found Jamie McQueen's gun on the highway. Her prospecting initiation concluded with her reciting the oath with sponsor Wally West and letting the rattlesnake bite her arm. After Georgia tried on her prospect kutte for the first time, the Raiders MC took a group photo with her. Wally West planned the Raiders MC's third cash exchange heist on July 7, 2024. Rue Day used the Clipper Chimp Hero Ultra to disable the smart lock on the back of the Strawberry Cash Exchange, alphabet-hacked the indoor power box to disable the door locks, and completed the word memory hack to unlock the vault door; new prospect Georgia Priestly held Audra hostage and negotiated with Officer Dominic Rhodes and Sgt. Lukas Lavender with Rue; Wally guarded the back door; Rue and Georgia grabbed the loot; and Wally drove Rue and Georgia from the police in a 4-door. Georgia broke her leg when all three of them swapped into Dax Marshall's box truck. Dax drove them to a swap spot where Lane was waiting in a satellite car by one 2-seater speed boat and one jet ski. Wally and Georgia swapped onto the speed boat while Dax drove Rue on the jet ski. Lane picked up Rue and Dax. Rue escaped with $51,460 in banded cash, a Sticker Booklet (a collection of assorted stickers that contains a holographic: 3 Apples), 2 Ink Cartridge, and 2 Sheet of Paper. When Flynn Bobarge picked up Wally and Georgia, both Flynn and Georgia ejected while Wally was driving getaway; and Georgia had to run with a broken leg. Lane picked up Georgia, and they escaped with her banded cash. A lootless Wally drove getaway in a scuffed Sultan with Dax (and passenger Rue) and Flynn following in interference cars. After Wally managed to lose the police, Dax and Rue picked Wally up. Everybody got out just before storm hit, escaping with about $94,000 total in banded cash for the club's house fund, the Sticker Booklet, 2 ink cartridges, and 2 sheets of paper. Afterward, Lane loaded the money printer with the sheet paper and ink cartridge, printing out about $5300 worth of clean cash one dollar at a time. Finally in a Chumash Pier meeting on July 9, 2024, Lane confronted Allie about why she talked to her ex-boyfriend Shang about her. Allie admitted that she selfishly wanted to be heard by someone who cared more about her feelings than for Lane's safety. Lane confirmed that she was really hurt that her best friend Allie had spilled such a guarded, personal secret as a heroin addiction to an enemy Lane distrusted who had shot at her twice. Although Allie apologized for betraying her trust, Lane said she felt like she couldn't confide in her anymore. Allie lamented that she felt like she loses everyone she gets close to, that she was feeling the six-month urge to bounce to another town, that The Guild was infrequently around, and that she felt like Lane's perceived dependence on her was holding Lane back with the club. Allie confessed that she didn't feel like she had a life in Los Santos and that she wanted to leave. Despite hating Los Santos, Lane cried saying that she couldn't go with her this time. Already feeling like she had no purpose left in the city (even before the break-up with Shang), Allie concluded that Lane had made a whole community for herself and didn't need Allie the way she used to--and that Lane would become a better club President if she were able to lean on them more without Allie driving a wedge between them. With Allie's perception that Lane, Shang, and The Guild didn't really need her, Allie didn't feel tied down by anything in the city. Allie said her farewells (Wade was the only Raider she told beside Lane). The chapter meeting on July 12, 2024 got emotional when Lane had each member including new prospect Georgia share what they got out of the club (based on Lane's new idea to ask hangarounds why they want to join the Raiders MC). Wade reported $750,000 in the house fund, and that Wally was killing the money runs. Lane warned about Reed Dankleaf's twat forbidding the Raiders MC from pushing weed, and Rue warned that Black Lotus was robbing people including them and The Hidden. Lane explained plans for storage, a second bench, and a private chapter room in Big Ouch locked to the public. Rue presented "Raiders Radio Code" (a secret emoji code for the club radio channel). Lane said hangaround Flynn Bobarge would take members along on sanitation. Rue reminded the club to stop littering in Chumash. In conclusion, Lane apologized to the club for leaving to Las Vegas to use drugs again, promised that it won't happen again, and punished herself with a $30,000 fine and a beating. Afterward in a private conversation with Rue, Wade agreed with a $10,000 fine for him leaving unannounced too, but said the beating would be up to Lane not Rue. Lane told Wade that the leaders weren't above the rules and that both of them should be beaten. Both Lane and Shang Liu saw a tearful Allie off at the Los Santos International Airport, who moved out of Los Santos for the first time ever without her lifelong best friend Lane. Enforcer Rue reluctantly delivered the beatings to both of her High Command members Lane and Wade on Chumash Pier. |
By the middle of July 2024, all of Chumash had become plagued with blacked-out robberies (with Black Lotus as the primary suspects) and a police crackdown on weed cornering. Constant police pressure in Chumash became a nightmare, with the weed dealers there constantly having to twat out the "shark" code word. The Hidden member Jade Rahilly even warned Wade to sweep Chumash beach for PD cameras after Probationary Officer Crocodile Steve and the police pulled up on The Hidden. On July 16, 2024, Lane phoned CIB Lead Detective Maeve Wolfe to complain about the escalating police aggression in Chumash while seemingly avoiding the carnage in Paleto. Lane threatened to make it Maeve's "personal problem" if the police didn't back off in Chumash, saying every day she wakes up in her south Chumash house will be a "living nightmare". Lane forewarned The Hidden leader Garret Mathews that she planned to plant booby traps outside of Maeve's house to terrorize her. Lane's "son" Benji Ramos also phoned her with a heads up that Black Lotus were hiding around Chumash. The police pressure in Chumash eased off. The most recent blacked-out robbers of The Hidden's weed pushers in south Chumash turned out to be their own turf allies the Ballas, in a secret conspiracy between the merged Kilo Tray Ballas and East Side Ballas to sabotage The Hidden's turf influence there. Although The Hidden had blocked other claims to the Ineseno Road turf spot (including the Raiders MC) so that KTB could place their own Hideout Receiver there, the Ballas now wanted to take over the #1 turf influence by any means necessary. In a meeting with KTB leader Andre Tyson on July 18, 2024, The Hidden rejected his suggestion to stop pushing weed for three days to let the Ballas overtake them, and wanted the Ballas to earn it themselves. As an example of how war would prevent both sides from selling and making money, Hidden Captain Fatboi hypothesized shooting them to bring the police down and ruin their whole day. Negotiations broke down. The weed supplier for both gangs, Pigeon, tried to mediate an eleventh hour peace between Andre and Hidden Leader Simmy Kit to no avail. A full-blown turf war started in south Chumash. The Hidden notified the Raiders MC about it, which Rue and Wade considered karma for The Hidden secretly inviting KTB into the other turf spot before the Raiders MC-Lost MC alliance could claim it. After multiple gunfights with the Ballas, The Hidden agreed to temporarily stop selling so that the Ballas take over the top influence spot from them. At a Chumash Pier meeting between the Raiders MC and the Ballas on July 24, 2024, KTB leader Andre Tyson explained the peace terms and discussed intel that The Hidden wanted to move from south Chumash to Mirror Park as a result. The Raiders MC and the Ballas discussed potential new businesses in Chumash, i.e., a new "Chumash Chips" restaurant, the future of "Mom's Pie", a new "Chumash Designs" company, and a Ballas mechanic shop. Andre was receptive to Lane's proposal to petition that all of Chumash be redistricted to Blaine County instead of Los Santos County. The meeting was interrupted by a mysterious city-wide power outage and alert sirens. Lane and Wade privately agreed that Rue overstepped and said way too much at the meeting. Wade told Rue she shouldn't have discussed Matt's or said they'd call KTB if their enemies hid in north Chumash, and that Lane should have led the conversation rather than Rue--but stopped short of fining and beating her for discussing private club information with the Ballas. Later in the diet chapter meeting around the Raiders MC's new big table, Wade mentioned 1.2 million in the house fund and that both boosting and chopping needs BET crypto now. Lane discussed planning for the heists of an ammunation crate and Maze Bank, that they should keep a good working relationship with KTB even though she's not happy sharing Chumash, that The Hidden might move to Mirror Park, and that in contrast to south Chumash she doesn't care about turf influence. The club agreed with Lane's desire to buy Butcoin from Simon Peterson and Mike Smoore for cash exchange and laundromat heists. With Big Ouch decorations almost done, Lane talked about a housewarming party (but no police invited). She removed hangaround Nikki Styxx (now with the BBMC) without any objections. One proposed hangaround was accepted (no vetoes): Lane nominated James Callahan. Lane discussed protecting prospect Georgia Priestly, who hit her head and got memory loss of being in the Raiders MC. Rue brought up that Duke Ramsey wants to be a clean face for the Raiders MC; Lane considered transferring ownership of Matt's to him. |
🐍 Season Two (July 2024-Present)[]
Atonement for the Murder of Beverly Brekker (July 2024-August 2024)[]
Synopsis: Lane playfully flirts with Hades co-leader Benji Ramos and openly fantasizes about marrying him. She feels betrayed when new Raiders MC hangaround Beverly Brekker lies to the club and sneaks off to a ride-along with two BCSO officers, and is too upset to stop her secret girlfriend Rue Day from hunting him with a gun. Wally West helps Rue gun down Bev and both BCSO officers in a shooting spree at the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office, landing him in the ICU. Trusted club friend Dr. Duke Ramsey operates on Bev but to the shock and horror of the Raiders MC, Bev dies after the heart surgery. Lane, Rue, and Wally are inconsolable. Duke downplays the Raiders MC involvement in it and controversially attributes the death to natural causes, saving Lane from a murder charge when she falsely confesses to Bev's shooting to atone for it. A visiting Allie cannot forgive Rue for Bev's death and cuts ties with Lane for defending her. Lane conspires to take out an unhinged Mickey Sinclaire when Benji loyally helps him fulfill his bloodlust for revenge against the Raiders MC. The club maintains a united front, but internally takes disciplinary measures to hold themselves accountable for failing Bev. Lane secretly warns Mason Calaway that no Raider can ever know that his sister Allie betrayed Lane's confidence to the ADMC--lest she suffer the same fate as Bev.
Rue Day started a clandestine relationship with Lane (with only Wade Wilson let in on their secret) despite the club rule against it and her long history of ghosting past girlfriends. Lane lived up to being a problematic lover, flirting with (and openly fantasizing about marrying) Hades co-leader Benji Ramos (even though she wasn't into men) and flying to Colorado to keep Juno Sweeney from relapsing into heroin after attempting to kiss her again. On July 24, 2024, Benji Ramos and Marcell Miller of CG teamed up with Lane and the Raiders MC trying to rob safes in the 24/7 convenience stores for the first time. Benji watched Lane crack a 24/7 safe as Wade held up the local store manager (she got an illegaly obtained Payout Cheque worth $14,477). Then Lane watched Benji crack a 24/7 safe for a payout cheque worth $11,782. But neither of them could figure out how to cash their cheques before they expired. On July 27, 2024, Lane set up a deal with Hades member Dragon Rush for the Slime Shack to supply 70 combos a week to the Raiders MC for $22,000 a week. On July 29, 2024, Flynn Bobarge was the only one caught in Rylee Kenwood's birthday heist of the Suds Law Laundromat. Shortly after, Wade held up the local store manager at the 24/7 convenience store on Barbareno Rd. Lane invited Kermy Fulker to the job, rushed to the store with Mike Smoore, and cracked the back room safe for an illegally obtained Payout Cheque worth $11,397. Lt. Declan Crane and his partner responded to the Robbery of a 24/7 in progress ping. Declaring "I can't go down for this," Kermy raised his hands and claimed to be their hostage--but Wade exposed him as a fake hostage. Wade drove getaway from the police in his own Draugur with passengers Lane and Mike and reluctant passenger Kermy. Lane swapped onto Rylee's motorbike to escape with the cheque and Wade's gun. Mike swapped into a random tailgater. After an 18-minute police chase, the Draugur broke and Wade and Kermy (with his hands up claiming to be a hostage still) swapped into Lane's stolen car. Wade denied James Callahan's request to take down the lone motorbike cop guarding the Draugur. After chasing Lane for about 11 minutes, Declan's partner pit them off a guardrail down a hillside. Lane crashed out into the median guardrail and ran on foot into the trees. James picked her up in a Sentinel and escaped with her. Lane ran over a murder kitty and picked up Wade. Everyone but Kermy escaped, but he talked Declan out of arresting him by claiming to be a hostage the whole time. Lane cashed the payout cheque at Paleto Bank for $11,397 cash. Later that same day, Beverly Brekker lamented that he was disillusioned with Atlas and Mickey Sinclaire's abandonment of him, and that only the Raiders MC seemed to care that Bev was in the ICU. Bev--who had never been interested in committing crime and wearing a Raiders MC kutte--shocked Lane by saying he wanted to join the Raiders MC as a full member (not as an Old Lady or a businessperson). Inside of the Liquid Library, Bev announced his decision to the Raiders MC (adding that Benji and Raymond Romanov could help teach him crime). Afterward, the Raiders MC finally completed the Cash Exchange riddles. Lane entered the code and received an Alicorn USB and Silver Trophy, and traded in the Alicorn USB on July 29, 2024 for new software on the Application HQ to unlock the Maze Bank heist (and an extra 100 BUTC). |
In the chapter meeting on August 3, 2024, Lane praised that the hangarounds recently pushed $77,000 worth of weed bricks, making themselves a 40% cut of $31,000 (and leaving $46,000 for the club). Lane announced multiple changes (without any objections) to the roles and ranking structure within the club:
The club reviewed the current hangarounds. Lane nominated Beverly Brekker to be a Hangaround (no vetoes), stipulating that he'd be removed if he became Chief of Police. Lane invited the club to Wade's getaway strategies. Road Captain Maxx McAllister (back from the new Raiders MC chapter in Washington) nominated Wally West for Tail Gunner; the club unanimously voted 5-0 to approve it (Wally didn't vote). Lane nominated Rue Day for Warden; the club unanimously voted 6-0 to approve it (Rue was absent). Lane proposed possibly "retiring" amnesiac Prospect Georgia Priestly, meaning the Raiders MC would still protect her but keep her kutte until she's ready to put it back on and resume her responsibilities. Wally discussed the moonshine operation he started. Wade mentioned he was buying club weed from Ellie Fletch now because The Guild disappeared. Lane enforced a new personal rule that anyone who ejects from their car owes her a $500 "inconvenience fee", singling out Dax Marshall, the hangarounds, and Veronica Westfield. |
The very next night on August 4, 2024, Warden Rue and Tail Gunner Wally impulsively set out on to hunt down newly minted hangaround Beverly Brekker. Already upset that Bev had considered Chief of Police (the same position as Lane's abusive father) and appeared to lack the same drive as the other three Raiders MC hangarounds, Lane facetiously disapproved of Bev's plan to apply for a janitor job at Mission Row Police Department (to spy on them) even though it bothered her more than she let on. Later when Bev was hanging out with the Raiders MC and excused himself to "walk back to his apartment", Lane and Rue discovered that he had lied to them. Flynn Bobarge saw Bev getting into a police car with two BCSO officers (Snr. Deputy Crystal Clear and her partner Cadet Rein Synnefo, both of whom Bev was secretly going on a ride-along with). Given Lane's high hopes of Bev finally joining her club, she felt gutted and betrayed. Rue told a crying Lane she'll take care of it, and recruited Wally to hunt Bev down with her. Although Lane overheard Rue wanting to get a gun to shoot him, Lane was too upset to stop her. Lane texted Bev, "Lose my number." She also texted him, "I'm done. I don't want you in my life." A blacked-out Rue and Wally stormed the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office and gunned down BCSO officer Rein. She chased down Bev and shot him twice in the abdomen and once in his bad heart before getting shot by BCSO officer Crystal. Wally gunned down Crystal and escaped with Rue. Having not explicitly signed off on it, Lane was shocked and confided in Wade that she wasn't sure whether she knew Rue would do that. Lane blamed herself for toning down her disapproval of Bev's PD endeavors and for not stopping his shooting--and texted Bev, "I don't want you to die..." On August 5, 2024, Lane lamented to a visiting Allie (who had been travelling and hanging out with a group in New York) that Bev gave "110%" to The Company (to make Mickey Sinclaire happy) but was wishy-washy with the Raiders MC, and treated them like a placeholder while he "shopped around". Lane confessed that she overheard Rue wanting to get a gun to shoot him but said nothing to stop her despite multiple opportunities to do so. Allie criticized that Lane should blame Rue (not herself) for "acting erratically" with a "wild overreaction", that upsetting the President is not a good reason to shoot someone (she called that "ADMC tactics"), that "we don't beat down on little people", that Lane keeps Rue's leash too loose, and that Rue's misbehavior is just going to keep happening. Lane got tired of Allie lecturing her about Rue and likening the club to ADMC, and stormed off after Allie downplayed it as a "personal problem" between Lane and Bev rather than as a betrayal of the club's trust. Afterward, Lane mused at how easily Allie forgave Shang Liu for shooting Lane back when she upset him. Lane lamented to Wade that she missed the days when Allie used to love her more than she hated Rue, and that now Bev will never be in the club like she wanted. Wade admitted that he once shot someone over emotions just like Rue did. Later that night, the Raiders MC turf influence reached Level 1 on their Hideout Application. The gunshot wounds to Bev's heart and abdomen complicated his previous heart and lung damage from the Mr. K stabbing, and Bev required immediate surgery for a new lung and heart. During the transplant surgery on August 6, 2024, Dr. Duke Ramsey successfully placed both the artificial lung and artificial heart in Bev's chest cavity--but couldn't get the synthetic heart to start and had to put the old heart back in. Afterward in the ICU with Lane at Bev's bedside, he flatlined. Dr. Ramsey failed to resuscitate him and called his time of death at 8:55pm EST. Lane, Rue, and Wally were inconsolable. In denial, Benji Ramos and Raymond Romanov stole Bev's dead body from the ICU and cryogenically froze it at Humane Labs and Research so that Mickey Sinclaire could fly in from Japan and implant a brain chip to revive him. Against Wade's wishes, a guilt-ridden Lane turned herself into the police with her best guess of the murder weapon and lied that she was the one who shot Bev--but only received 80 months in jail and a $35,000 fine (for three attempted murders) because Dr. Ramsey had worded in Bev's autopsy report that he died of natural causes due to heart failure...not the gunshot wounds. Lane reflected to Wade that by writing it that way, their friend Dr. Ramsey saved her from a murder charge. Rue had a warrant because her blood was found on scene at the SDSO (from when Crystal shot her and witnessed "one man" with her). Afterward in an emotional conversation with Wally, Lane regretted her failure to explain to Bev why his infiltration of the police hurt her and the club more than it helped. To the complete shock of a grieving Benji Ramos on August 7, 2024, Lane admitted to him that the Raiders MC shot Bev for fraternizing with the police and lying to the club about it. Benji could not believe they killed someone so harmless, drove off in a rage, and walked sad along Vespucci Beach. He confided in Reggie Might his incorrect assumption that all of the Raiders MC but Lane must have voted to kill Bev, and debated whether to tell Mickey Sinclaire knowing that he would go after Lane for it (which Benji didn't want). Reggie advised him to stay loyal to Mickey. Benji brainstormed interrogating a Raider to kill every member who voted yes. Reggie recommended starting with the Enforcer, correctly deducing that they must have pulled the trigger--but said tell Mickey first. Benji lamented that Mickey killed Bev by abandoning him. |
On August 8, 2024, Mickey Sinclaire returned to Los Santos and kept hearing Beverly Brekker's ghostly voice in his head, oblivious that he had died. Benji Ramos reluctantly showed him Bev's frozen corpse at Humane Labs. After they blamed each other for his death, Mickey had to pry out of Benji that Bev had secretly joined his ex-wife Lane's gang the Raiders MC. Benji characterized the Raiders MC as old school trying their best to follow their club rules--and explained that after Lane opposed Bev's offer for Chief of Police, he accepted an offer to be a PD janitor and got shot by them for betraying and lying to the club about it. Mickey believed Benji's incorrect assumption that everyone but Lane had voted to punish Bev, putting him in the hospital sooner than expected, and that she didn't want him dead but had to follow the club rules. Mickey proclaimed that they kill Lane first so she doesn't watch her other members die in front of her. Bev's ghostly voice called it "one last job". Benji assembled a Hades war party comprised of himself, Mickey, Reggie Might, Achez Perez, Dragon Rush, and Chico Guzman. When Bev's ghost voice advised Mickey to solve it with words before violence, Benji tried to phone Lane but she hadn't woken up yet. Mickey explained to Benji's war party the plan to make a list of everyone remotely responsible for Bev's death and kill each and every one of them, starting with the Raiders MC. Mickey tasked Dragon with finding out who makes, services, and tunes the Raiders MC motorcycles, their barbers, and their gardeners in order to kill them all too. Mickey, Benji, and the war party all drove down to north Chumash and held up both Wade Wilson and Mason Calaway at gunpoint. Ironically, they unknowingly robbed the hot gun that shot Bev from Wade--who had purposely logged it out of the club armory. Both Wade and Mason corrected Mickey's misconception that the club voted to shoot Bev. Wade lied that he made the call to shoot Bev for getting in a cop car and betraying them by hanging out with cops. Wade refused to divulge to Reggie who the Raiders MC Enforcer was, and explained that the club couldn't take any chances having someone close to them be close to the cops. Mickey called Bev innocent, the one good thing about the city, and the purest person in the city who solved problems with words rather than guns. Wade guilted Mickey for not being there for Bev when he needed him. Mickey shot both Wade and Mason outside of MRPD, completing "part one of the plan". Mickey tasked former Company interns with the quixotic mission of finding both Bev and the Raiders MC. Mickey hunted for the doctor next, uncovering Dr. Duke Ramsey as the name of Bev's surgeon. Mickey then executed the ex-lawyer for Chang Gang, Rick Richards, at Vinewood Bowl (whom Mickey and Benji had coincidentally encountered earlier amidst a bed of hypodermic needles at Humane Labs) for admitting to him (under "lawyer confidentiality") that he put Bev's adopted brother police Sgt. Leonardo Slacks in a coma. In a phone call with Benji, Lane confronted him about shooting Wade. She said Wade lied about pulling the trigger to protect the club. Lane yelled that she's taken responsibility for her role, that Mickey broke his promise that Bev would be protected from Mr. K and that Mr. K's attack was the reason that Bev first started dying. She asked Benji to acknowledge that Mickey will die at the end of this path if he was allowed to continue on it. After arguing over who loved Bev more and knew him better, Lane contended that Bev chose the Raiders MC not Hades, so was beholden to the rules and foundation of her club. Making a point that Bev never would have leaked club secrets to the police, Benji called Bev harmless and had never spilled any Raiders MC secrets to him. But she countered that it was because Bev didn't love and trust him, given that Bev had confided Company secrets in her. After Benji hung up, he exclaimed that the phone call had messed with his head. Lane texted him that she'll do what she has to do to protect her people, but that maybe they could finally watch Star Wars when it was all over. When Lane called Mickey to ask what would give him peace, he answered with his plan to kill all of them, anyone who's ever been connected to them, and anyone who's ever been connected to them. She tormented Mickey with the revelation that Bev said Mickey was dead to him, and also unlocked that Mr. K caused Bev's original heart and lung damage by stabbing him. Lane agreed to meet Mickey unarmed if he returned Bev's corpse to the hospital to get a proper autopsy. Against Benji's protests, Mickey dropped off Bev's corpse off with medical intern Celine Jaxx at the hospital (instructing that the autopsy be completed without any tampering). Meanwhile in a Chumash Pier meeting with Mickey associate Swan DeLeur (with Wally West and Dax Marshall keeping watch), Lane ranked the past four days as the worst in her life. She recounted how she married Bev and annulled the marriage after 20 hours. She also confided in Swan how happy she was that Bev finally wanted to be in her club, and how him considering Chief of Police hurt her because of her abusive father Darcy...but then Mickey's urgent phone calls interrupted the rest of the story. Swan left Lane saying that she liked the name Darcy because if was hers--not her Dad's. As Lane ignored Mickey's phone calls during the talk, he and Benji feared that she had conspired to steal Bev's corpse from the hospital. They rushed back and briefly mistook the Already Dead MC for the Raiders MC. Mickey pinged Lane to the civilian docks even though she "wanted to be shot in Chumash", also pinging Swan DeLeur to the civilian docks. Swan told him she already spoke to Lane and wanted him to spare her. At the civilian docks with Lane and Benji, Mickey tried to shame her that Bev never would have betrayed her. Wally and Dax tried to post up on a rooftop to shoot Mickey per Lane's orders, but Hades was already posted at that same spot and gunned them both down. Lane refused to give Mickey closure, vowing to never tell him the truth of what actually happened to Bev--adding that she hoped it ate Mickey up until the day he died. He retorted that he hoped killing Bev ate her up inside. In response to Lane justifying her protection of the club secret with "club over everything", Mickey claimed he put Bev over everything. Benji threatened Wally and Dax for the truth from Lane. Mickey bragged that unlike her and the Raiders MC, he had the courage to go after Mr. K next. Lane retorted that he could do that because he had nothing and nobody left to lose--whereas she had to protect her people. Despite the favor to Swan to go easy on Lane so she could get closer to her, Mickey wanted revenge too badly and stabbed Lane multiple times. Afterward, Benji secretly phoned Reggie to save Lane's life--but Swan and the EMS had already attended to her. For the final act of the plan, Benji desperately tried to talk Mickey out of going after Mr. K. Mickey decided to sleep on it. Benji and Mickey exchanged apologies for not protecting Bev better. Afterward, a disguised Benji snuck into the hospital to check on Lane, and was relieved that she had survived. Dr. Duke Ramsey gave Lane and Veronica Westfield a run-down on the conditions of ICU patients Wade, Mason, Wally, and Dax. Lane informed Dr. Ramsey that Rue had been jailed in Las Vegas (where she had met Lane's heroin dealer Dalton in a search for her). |
Dr. Celine Jaxx performed "Autopsy Round 2" on Beverly Brekker. She detailed two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, one gunshot wound to the heart, two healing stab wounds to the abdomen, one stab wound that hit the heart and punctured a lung, and a heart transplant that the body appeared to reject. She concluded that the cause of death was a "Failed Heart Transplant", and that the manner of death was "Accidental". Chief of Police Daisy Moss and Assistant Chief of Police Tyler Peters commanded the Los Santos Police Department to look closer into the Beverly Brekker homicide case because of details that didn't add up. Officer Coyote, Officer Anastasia Pierce, and Officer Vic Hanna investigated. In a police walkthrough at SDSO on August 10, 2024, BCSO eyewitness Crystal Clear confirmed to Officer Coyote that the blacked-out female shooter gunned Bev down for "making Lane cry"; then Crystal shot the female down; then the blacked-out male shooter gunned Crystal down. Given Rue Day's blood where the female was shot, Coyote and Crystal agreed that Lane (who had turned herself in with the man's hot gun) could not have shot Bev. Coyote also noted how strange it was that Bev's gunshot wounds weren't in Dr. Duke Ramsey's autopsy report. Duke warned Lane that the police had questioned him three different times at MRPD about Bev's autopsy. CoP Daisy and Snr. Officer Loki Skylizard emphasized that Duke's statements would be the difference between second degree murder and attempted second degree murder. Also despite Duke's denial that his autopsy findings misrepresented the truth, the police began scrutinizing his relationship to the Raiders MC. Lane affirmed to Duke that she considered Bev's death a murder. But Duke affirmed his belief that Bev was actually killed by a freak accident, i.e., the artificial heart failing to start. Having been arrested by Las Vegas police during a drug deal set up by Dalton (who had lied that he'd tell her where Lane was if Rue participated in the deal), Rue Day freely returned to Los Santos without a need for extradition because her Los Santos warrant for the Bev shooting had expired. CoP Daisy, Asst. CoP Tyler, Lt. Kian McNulty, and the homicide detectives also accepted the futility of challenging both autopsy conclusions to prove murder. Officer Coyote subpoenaed Rue's phone records (for 8/6/2024-8/8/2024) under the suspicion of attempted first degree murder because of the SDSO blood evidence. Officer Vic Hanna subpoenaed Lane's phone records as well (for 8/4/2024-8/8/2024) under the suspicion that she was an accomplice to first degree murder for getting ahold of the hot gun of the unidentified male shooter. |
On August 13, 2024, an emotionally suffering Lane texted Benji Ramos asking him to plan Bev's funeral. He texted back that he didn't think he could do a good job but could help with it, then texted that he could talk to someone about it. She offered to get the basics arranged if he could just handle inviting people (given her role in killing Bev), phoned him that she shouldn't be the one advertising it, and stated that she wasn't planning on attending it (secretly hoping that he would insist she attend it). Benji asked her for 24 hours, and coldly agreed that it was fair to feel she shouldn't be involved. Devastated, Lane felt like she was uninvited to the funeral she was going to plan and help with. Benji confided in Hades co-leader Raymond Romanov that he didn't want to betray both Brekkers and Mickey by talking to Lane. Ray and Benji concurred that "game is game", with Ray reasoning that Brekkers is dead and Lane is alive. Benji phoned Lane to ask whether she's ever liked someone but didn't know if it was the right thing to do. She replied that they're not in the same position because nobody in her club is mad at her for liking him. Interpreting that to mean that she was interested in him, he stated that it was tough from his angle before storm ended the phone call. Ray teased Benji that if he didn't call Lane again, Ray will call her. She had Veronica Westfield phone Benji that the local EMS brought Lane into the hospital and lied that she couldn't give Lane a ride back to Chumash. Benji picked Lane up at the hospital in his brand-new sports car, and awkwardly drove her back to Big Ouch. He wanted to ask whether she wanted to watch some Star Wars this weekend, but said he had to figure out the timing because of the funeral. Lane sympathized with his difficult position. She reminded him that she didn't have to tell him about Bev, but did because she cared about Benji. Benji said the problem is she puts club first whereas he'd make her first, that he didn't want to pretend that he didn't like her back, and asked for 24 hours to decide whether she should help with the funeral. Lane was shocked by Benji's interest in her given that he knew she was a lesbian. Slowly dying from a week's worth of insomnia and soul-crushing guilt over all of the hurt she caused Lane and the Raiders MC by killing Bev, Rue kept reacting to someone who wasn't there, held onto a gun for protection from whoever was haunting her, and refused to relinquish it to the club. Fearing that sleep-deprived Rue had given up on life, the Raiders MC admitted her into the care of Dr. Duke Ramsey on August 14, 2024 for a 72-hour hold--and conspired for Wally West to grab the gun off her once she finally slept. Before she was admitted, she called Benji asking for Mickey Sinclaire's phone number. Rue confessed the truth to Benji that she was the one who murdered Bev, but wouldn't answer him about why she did it. It dawned on Benji that the guilt over murdering Bev was causing the insomnia Lane had told him about earlier. Unaware that Rue and Lane were secretly in love with each other, Benji wanted himself and Mickey to put Rue to sleep permanently. Although Mickey agreed to plan Bev's funeral scheduled for Friday, Lane still handled the preparation, e.g., bringing Bev's funeral suit to the hospital, setting up Legion Square park as the venue (where Bev had a lot of meetings with The Company interns), and setting up the security for his corpse. On the day of Bev's funeral on August 16, 2024, Lane told his corpse her regret of not saying "I love you" before he died, apologized from "the pit of her soul", that she'll have to live with her failure to protect him, that she'll miss him every single day, that she was really happy to have known him, that she'll carry that piece of him with her until she's gone, and that he was the best husband she could ask for. Lane dressed Bev in his funeral suit but stopped short of putting his Raiders MC hat back on. Other Raiders stopped by the hospital to say their goodbyes to him. Meanwhile, Mickey couldn't find Bev's surgeon Dr. Duke Ramsey to get revenge on him. While waiting to meet with Mr. K to confirm whether he was the one who actually stabbed Bev, Mickey was confused by a text from a phone number he didn't recognize: "It was me. Please don't hurt anyone else. I just need to sleep. I'll be out of the hospital in a few days." He texted back, "who is this?" Mickey notified Mr. K that the Raiders MC had accused him of stabbing Bev. After briefly mixing up the Raiders MC with the Already Dead MC (whom he had beef with), Mr. K couldn't remember ever meeting the Raiders MC or stabbing Bev. But Mr. K did admit to stabbing "68 people" in Paleto for killing his friend, adding that if he did stab Bev it wasn't personal. Mickey reasoned that Mr. K had stabbed Bev randomly whereas the Raiders MC had maliciously shot him. Mr. K advised Mickey to stop caring, tried to recruit Mickey into a homicidal rampage with him and Chang Gang, and sacrificed both Ramee El-Rahman and Pigeon in bombings to prove his point. Longing for the whole city to burn, Mickey agreed to Mr. K's suggestion of bombing the Raiders MC house. Benji called Mickey a sucker for letting Mr. K radicalize him. Mickey, Benji, and Hades held Bev's public funeral at the amphitheater in Legion Square park. The Raiders MC did not attend. During Benji's eulogy, he openly promised to take care of Bev's ex-wife Lane and that "he would be sure to do what he was not able to do every night". For Mickey's eulogy, he talked about how he hated the city and everyone in it, that Bev was the "main character" in the broader story of this world, and that Mickey hoped the people of Los Santos died miserable and alone (especially Peach Chee). Mr. K eulogized how he stabbed Bev and that he probably took it like a champ. As Benji was driving Mickey and Bev's body to the ocean, Benji identified Mickey's mystery texter as Rue Day of the Raiders MC. Benji explained that she was the one who pulled the trigger on Bev and that she hasn't been able to sleep because of the guilt. Mickey vowed to kill Rue and Dr. Ramsey, and told Mr. K that Rue was the one who killed Bev for talking to the police. Mr. K replied that Chumash had to burn. Lane twatted out Bev's "The Final Diss" track, which Mickey enjoyed listening to. Mickey then dumped Bev's body into the ocean to honor his final request. While negotiating with the Rat King on behalf of Hades at Legion Park, Mickey didn't care anymore and shot him up in cold blood. Coincidentally during a memorial club ride to spots sentimental to Bev, the entirety of the Raiders MC happened to take a break at Legion Park and overheard Mickey there. As they started to leave on their motorbikes, Mickey called them all out. Lane walked up to him and taunted whether he shot Mr. K yet. As Benji tried to separate them, Mickey shot Wade Wilson and got gunned down by Wally West in the veritable 10v10 bloodbath that ensued. Lane accidentally tried to shoot with her cigarettes instead of her gun. Louis Blanc and Rico Barbosa escaped with Mickey. BCSO Lt. Declan Crane warned the Raiders MC that they were one more incident away from getting gang-related shooting. In agreement with Wade that they kill Mickey if he survived his gunshot wounds, Lane texted Benji, "If I get the chance, I'm going to kill him. You know that, right?" Benji responded with a sigh. Benji rebuked Mickey for shooting at two meetings in a row for no reason, yelling that the hospital now had 20 bodies in it. Mickey responded that he wanted to shoot more, and then scorned Benji's hypothetical about sleeping with lesbian Lane for Bev. Next, Mickey wanted to find out which police officers offered Bev the janitor position. Benji tried to convince Mickey to live life again, but he mused that "depressive realism" was the correct outlook on life. When Bev's adoptive brother Sgt. Leonardo Slacks woke up from his coma, Mickey informed him that the Raiders MC killed Bev for seeing him with a cop, after Mr. K had stabbed him. Mickey agreed to help a grieving Slacks finish the job on Mr. K. Slacks agreed to burn the city to ashes with Mickey. Meanwhile in a Raiders MC meeting that included hangarounds and friends, Lane detailed the rules of engagement for killing Mickey. Wade resented that Lane still liked Benji despite three separate occasions where he actively participated in the shooting of Raiders, but Lane defended Benji for standing up to Mickey to protect her. Lane phoned Benji with a warning that Mickey is going to die if he doesn't stop. Benji affirmed that he will never stop backing Mickey. But later that night despite her secret lesbian relationship with Rue, Lane privately invited Benji into her apartment. Although he stayed the whole night until morning, neither of them disclosed whether anything happened. Afterward, Benji's loyal Hades Underboss Reggie Might floated thinly veiled death threats to Lane--reasoning that maybe he should kill her now before she impaired Benji's judgment--but ultimately backed down out of respect for Benji's wishes. |
Back when her friend Beverly Brekker died, Allie confided in her ex-boyfriend Shang Liu of the Already Dead MC that Rue Day killed Bev because he "made Laney cry" for something that he did. Allie said she couldn't forgive it, that she cut ties with Lane for "blindly defending" an "unhinged" Rue, and that she hoped that Shang would repeatedly hunt them all down if Rue ever shot Allie for making Lane cry. Also prior to Bev's funeral, Allie told fellow attendees ADMC Tail Gunner Finn Milton (Rue's ex-boyfriend), ADMC member JT, and ADMC prospect Blue that Rue killed Bev because he "made Laney cry" for considering a janitor job at the police station and because Lane hates cops, ex-cops, future cops, and family of cops--adding that Rue skipped town before her entire club got shot. On August 19, 2024, Blue phoned Wade asking what happened to Bev, saying she heard he was killed for making Lane cry. Lane instantly realized that Allie had leaked their private Chumash Pier conversation to the ADMC, and that their lifelong friendship was truly over. But still haunted by her failure to protect Bev from Rue, Lane didn't want history to repeat itself and decided that no Raider--with the exception of Allie's brother Mason Calaway--could ever know that Allie had betrayed her confidence. In a private conversation with Lane about it the following day, Mason corroborated that Allie had used those exact same words with him too--and agreed she was done with them and could no longer be trusted. Lane forewarned him that she will motion to remove Allie's founder status without stating the true reason (but will augment the club rule that protects members' loved ones from harm), adding that she was tired of protecting someone who doesn't deserve it. When Mason said he still wanted Allie on his list of protected loved ones, Lane replied that Allie won't be on hers. In a hefty chapter meeting on August 20, 2024, Lane finally broached the Beverly Brekker murder that they had previously been avoiding discussion on:
Lane motioned to remove Allie's founder status, vaguely citing that her relationship with the Raiders MC has "degraded", that Lane and Allie are no longer on speaking terms, and that Allie joined The Guild and has been spending time with the ADMC. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 6-0 to revoke Allie's founder status. Rue motioned that all three Raiders MC hangarounds be prospected: Rylee Kenwood with Lane as her sponsor, Flynn Bobarge with Rue as his sponsor, and James Callahan with Wade Wilson as his sponsor. The club unanimously voted 6-0 to prospect all three of them. Lane concluded the chapter meeting with a reminder to kill Mickey Sinclaire, given that he likely won't stop coming after the Raiders MC. Afterward at the request of Rue and Wally on Chumash Pier, acting Sergeant At Arms Wade beat both of them in front of the entire club (but not enough to knock them unconscious). During a new twist in the prospecting ceremony for Rylee, Flynn, and James, Rue asked each sponsor to step forward to say why they agreed to take their prospect on. James was the only covenant oathtaker to pronounce "camaraderie" correctly. The new prospects wore their new Raiders MC kuttes to their first informal chapter meeting on Chumash Pier, posed for a club photo, and joined the Raiders MC on a club ride. The three new prospects silently attended their first chapter meeting on August 23, 2024 (in the Raiders MC's private chapter room). Lane reminded them that they now owe $5000 in dues each week, and estimated her ideal club size at 15 members at most. Also on August 23, 2024, Mickey continued his revenge arc by seeking the police officers who offered Bev his janitor job and anyone who's ever ocean dumped him. With Mr. K no longer in the city and Bev's confessed killer Rue Day not answering Mickey's phone call, he spontaneously invited himself to Irwin Dundee's cash exchange heist with the Bondi Boys MC. BCSO Deputy Helen Highwater negotiated with Mickey and Dundee for the hostage, but the police wound up breaching because the BBMC forgot duffel bags and had to breach negotiations. Mickey gunned down the hostage and four police officers before getting shot down and arrested. After he was released on $40,000 bail pending the court case, he skipped town without finishing his revenge against the three individuals most responsible for Bev's death: Mr. K, Rue, and Dr. Duke Ramsey. |
The Fatal Indiscretion of Dax Marshall (August 2024-September 2024)[]
Synopsis: The joint dream of the Raiders MC, Kilo Tray Ballas, and Street Bratz to run an eatery in south Chumash gets derailed when The Kaneshiro Clan snatches up the "Mom's Pie" building to farm weed there. New Prospect James Callahan leaks a secret relationship between his sister Rylee Kenwood and Patched Member Dax Marshall, forcing Dax to come clean that she was secretly his girlfriend when he voted to prospect her into the club. When Dax keeps on lying to cover up that Rylee once ocean dumped James, Lane and Rue Day murder Dax with a blooding out ritual. Bratz member Maisie Laurence avenges her brother Dax by shooting a guilt-ridden James with his blessing off the top floor of The Jetty. The Raiders MC suspect her, but can't prove it because James made sure she destroyed his phone. Wade Wilson doesn't know what to do when Lane confesses to him that she is also violating the club rule against romance by being in a secret relationship with Rue--and has been cheating on her with multiple people. Following Lane's panic over Wade's attraction to new Hangaround Doll, she decides to relinquish her Hangaround status to start dating Wade.
In a private announcement on August 23, 2024, Patched Member Dax Marshall and newly minted Prospect Rylee Kenwood revealed their secret romance to their family--Rylee's brother (and fellow Raiders MC prospect) James Callahan and Dax's adopted sister Maisie Laurence of the Street Bratz--by holding hands in front of them. James was dismayed that he now had to fake ignorance on it, and Maisie face-palmed as she reminded them of the Raiders MC's strict "no-dating" policy. Dax laughed off the possibility that he and Rylee could get shot because of how serious the rule is. James tried to talk Rylee into a safer Old Lady path rather than a Patched Member who could be blooded out. He foreshadowed that if the relationship ever became public knowledge, it won't end well--and called Dax stupid for starting it despite the foreknowledge of the prospect vote for her. Dax acknowledged it was dumb, but rationalized that Rylee was worth it. James agreed with Maisie's worry about their safety given the risk of getting blooded out/murdered. Dax realized that James and Maisie were right, and broke up with Rylee to protect their future with the club. A distraught Rylee cried to James about it, crashed her car in a serious accident, and ended up comatose in the ICU. Afterward, he lied to Lane and Mason by insisting that he didn't know what happened. Once a hungover James confided in Old Lady Veronica Westfield about the relationship and the news began to spread through the club, Dax came clean to Wade Wilson on August 24, 2024. Wade notified Lane that he wanted to fine and beat both of them for it. Lane responded with her opinion that Dax's vote to prospect Rylee was now null and void, and decided to sleep on what to do. Lane could not enforce the club rule about romantic relationships because Rylee had no vote to give up to become an Old Lady, and Dax could not become the Old Lady of a Prospect. On August 25, 2024, Lane extrapolated from the club rule that as soon as Dax and then-Hangaround Rylee had feelings for each other, she should have been immediately dismissed as a Hangaround to start the path to Old Lady. Convinced that Rylee's prospect vote was now compromised because of Dax, Lane leaned toward a punishment that would a) force Rylee to earn her kutte back by demoting her from Prospect to "blooded-in Hangaround", and b) force Dax to earn his vote back by demoting him from Patched Member to Prospect. But Lane wanted Wade and Rue Day to make the final decision. Lane considered it an even worse mess than the time the club kicked out Hangaround Tate earlier in the year for sleeping with Prospect Thomas Aoki--given that Dax had the voting power of a Patched Member and used it to prospect Rylee. Mason Calaway amended that Dax and Rylee had told her brother James Callahan that the secret relationship started one day before the prospect vote and lasted for five days, and floated the question of whether Dax could now be trusted with the voting power to patch her or not. Lane lamented that she went from wanting Dax to be Outrider to not wanting him anywhere near Raiders MC hangarounds. With Rylee still in the ICU from the car crash and unable to give her account, Lane fumed at James' revelation that Rylee cried over her break-up with Dax because she considered their relationship "the best time of her life" and "the happiest she's been in her life". James added his opinion that Rylee and Dax still had feelings for each other despite their break-up. Lane explained that Dax should have voted nay on the prospect vote and recommended her as a future Old Lady instead. When Lane asked James whom he would choose between the club and his sister Rylee, he answered the club. But when he tried to backpedal to Lane after storm that his opinion could not be trusted on this topic because he's biased, she wondered why she should believe anything he says then. Although Veronica Westfield suggested waiting to verify whether Rylee had really grasped the weight of her actions, Lane concluded that Rylee's heart chose Dax and could no longer be trusted to put the club first. In a Chumash Pier meeting with Dax, Lane and Rue discovered that he had forewarned Rylee that both of them could be blooded out for starting the romance--but didn't mention the alternative path of Old Lady because he didn't know how serious the relationship would become. He admitted to telling James about the secret relationship instead of the club because of a consciousness of guilt. Lane couldn't reconcile why they would risk their lives if the relationship wasn't serious. While looking through Dax's phone, Rue asked him what the following 13-day-old text from Rylee meant:
Dax answered that Rylee had hurt James in an argument but didn't know about what. Before Lane phoned James about it, she forewarned Dax that he better share all of the information he knew--but he continued to withhold the truth to protect Rylee's future with the club. After James kept lying to Lane on the phone and she had to force the truth out of him, she asked Dax why Rylee had ocean dumped James. Dax admitted that it was because Rylee had argued with James about the Phase 2 Hangaround conversation--showing that Dax had blatantly lied to their faces and had been protecting Rylee's secret from the club for at least 13 days. When Dax answered "yes" to Lane's question about whether he and James had corroborated stories beforehand, she finally had enough and gave the order to blood Dax out at the Sandy Shores overlook spot. In the subsequent blooding out ceremony for Dax on August 25, 2024, he denied to Rue that his secret relationship with Rylee had affected his prospect vote. Rue berated him for letting the Raiders MC blood Rylee in as a prospect without giving her the choice of being his Old Lady instead, and called him a liar whose words could no longer be trusted. Expressing that she was "insanely disappointed", Lane reflected on how moved she once felt by his words a few weeks back about what the club meant to him. Lane castigated him for still lying after they gave him every opportunity to be truthful with them, lamenting that because of his actions the futures of both Rylee and James in the club were now gone. Dax emotionally agreed with Lane that he was a coward for not being honest with his own club. Lane opened a rattlesnake's jaw and let it bite down on Dax's arm multiple times. After she and Rue stripped him of his kutte and his patch, Rue shot him in the face. With his head bleeding out and poisonous snake venom coursing through his veins, Dax passed away. Under a belief that Patched Member Dax's power in the club scared both Prospects Rylee and James into keeping secrets, Lane stopped short of blooding them out pending further investigation. However during the emergency club meeting after Dax's blood out ceremony, Rue read James' texts to Dax aloud given that they cast doubt on whether James could put the club first, i.e., about how James and Rylee should never be in the same crew because he cares for her too much, how he'll always be conflicted about it, and that it will hurt them one day. Rue lambasted Dax's apparent stigma against Old Ladies and motioned with Lane to destigmatize the Old Lady rank by giving them the same voting power as a full member (unanimous vote required to pass). Wade voted nay because he believed full members should have to go through the prospecting process. The club eventually agreed with Wally West's alternative suggestion that Old Ladies should have to earn their vote instead of getting it by default. Meanwhile at the top floor of The Jetty on August 25, 2024, James rested his neatly folded kutte, hat, goggles, mask, and scarf on his motorbike. He confessed to Dax's worried sister Maisie Laurence that James had drunkenly leaked Dax's secret relationship to Old Lady Veronica Westfield, and that the word spread like "wildfire". James stated that this story might end with three graves, and encouraged her to use the handgun he had rested on the back of his motorbike--adding that if she didn't shoot him, the Raiders MC will. Maisie said that a heartbroken Dax made her promise to let his daughter Kay Marshall know how much he loved her. Maisie blamed James for putting the target on Dax's back. James relayed Dax's final wishes for her not to go after the Raiders MC, and asked her to throw his phone in the ocean to erase any trail leading back to her. Maisie quoted "an eye for an eye" before shooting him through his left eye. He fell off The Jetty ledge onto the ground below. Coincidentally, the Raiders MC's third and most innocent Prospect Flynn Bobarge found him and called in the club for help. Afterward, Lane told a comatose James that a part of her still wanted to root for him, and that he was still in the club. She returned his kutte, affirmed that she still believed in him, said he had to put the Raiders first before Rylee, and wiped a tear from his cheek. The Raiders MC investigated and even suspected Maisie as the culprit, but couldn't prove anything without the phone. Rue did text her a fake message from Dax's phone lying that he was ok, however. Wade whispered to James that Dax was no longer part of the club, explaining how he had kept on lying until they could no longer trust him. Wade lamented to Lane that all three of the friends he brought into the Raiders MC were now gone, i.e., Drake, Taylor Archer, and now Dax Marshall (and also nearly all of his HOA friends including the recently departed Simon Peterson were gone). Lane responded that only two of the friends she originally invited, i.e., Rue Day and Mason Calaway, were still in the Raiders MC. |
Following Dax Marshall's blooding out, Lane had asked Rue whether they should break up their own secret relationship (which would require one of them to become an Old Lady if caught)--but Rue declined. Lane felt stuck in the ICU room where she helplessly watched her friend Beverly Brekker die, unable to move on from reliving it (and also sad that she was starting the "Chumash Designs" company without him like they originally dreamed). Still hurt that Rue had killed Bev and admitted to not regretting it, Lane subconsciously felt like they didn't deserve to be happy and kept cheating on her--using sex with other people to punish herself. Having failed to have sex with Benji Ramos (he kept passing out and they ended up just watching "Star Wars" together), she had sex with club friend Dr. Duke Ramsey and later with Dalton in Las Vegas (in exchange for heroin so she could relapse). For the "Wu-Chang Masquerade III" event at the Marlowe Vineyard on August 30, 2024, Benji Ramos brought Bondi Boys MC member Claire Miles as his date. Since his Hades co-leader Raymond Romanov couldn't get ahold of his ex-wife Kit Archer, he invited Lane as his +1 to stir with Benji. At the masquerade party, Benji stirred Ray back by phoning Kit that Ray was on a date with Lane. Ray had Kit pretend she was mad and then told Benji that Lane that she wanted to sleep with Ray (which she privately admitted she could do to "commit to the bit"). Benji retaliated by trying to sleep with Kit, pretended to give his blessing to Ray and Lane, and then stirred with Kit that Ray and Lane were sleeping together. Ray was shocked by Lane's admission to Ray that she wanted to marry Benji some day. Ray and Lane conspired to deceive Benji into thinking that she now wanted to date newly promoted Hades Lieutenant Louis Blanc. When Marlo Stanfield phoned Lane, she told him she's with Louis. Benji berated Louis over the phone and floated sleeping with his ex-girlfriend Issa Belle. Meanwhile, Wade and Mike Smoore finally kidnapped Raiders MC nemesis, off-duty BCSO Deputy Helen Highwater, from the masquerade party. Wade picked up Lane and Louis in an orange VIN scratched Caracara from Fudge Lane. At the Vineyard Racetrack stables, Lane warned Helen to keep her mouth shut about the Raiders MC. After Wade shot her in the left eye in front of Lane and Louis, they dropped Louis off back at Fudge. Ray eventually let Benji off the hook by revealing the whole thing was a prank. BCSO Deputy Kian McNulty pulled over Benji's car on his way back to the masquerade party with Lane, and was confused by them behaving like a couple given the recent "spiciness" between the Raiders MC and Hades. McNulty GSR tested the two of them and ruled them out for shooting Helen. In a phone call with Lane, BCSO Deputy Bruce Collins threatened to make her life a living hell because of the Helen shooting and called off their beauty shop business idea. Back at the vineyard, Ray and Benji apologized to Kit for weaponizing her in their stirring. Ray conceded to Benji that he won the pot stirring contest. But in response to all the stirring, Reggie Might stirred back by holding Lane at gunpoint and kidnapping her from the vineyard in front of Hades. Reggie secretly dropped her off unharmed, and went after Claire next while Lane pretended to be missing. Dr. Duke Ramsey texted Lane that he ruined Helen's chances at getting an eye transplant. Mike warned Lane that McNulty GSR tested him and Veronica Westfield in north Chumash (to rule them out for shooting Helen). Benji, Claire, and Marlo took Billy Thorne hostage to The Jetty that Reggie had invited Claire to. Reggie accused Benji of using Billy as a pawn against him. The whole situation suddenly turned serious when Reggie shot Claire down for refusing to put her gun down. Billy started running, and Benji shot him in the back of the head. Benji rebuked Reggie for hurting somebody Benji cares about, solving problems that aren't his to fix, and "abusing" an immunity that some would die for. Afterward, Reggie visited the BBMC in Vespucci to take responsibility--Vice Prime Minister Rusty heard him out but then told him to get out of the Billabong. At the hospital where the Raiders were visiting Rylee Kenwood, the police spotted and chased driver Wade and passenger Lane in the orange Caracara they had kidnapped Helen in. McNulty pit the Caracara so hard that Lane ejected from the passenger seat and got incapacitated. The police beat down James Callahan and Mason Calaway for trying to save her, then gunned them both down when Mason knocked out Deputy Bruce with knuckle dusters. Wade started shooting at the police chasing him. McNulty GSR tested Mason and Jason and ruled them out for shooting Helen. Following the interrogation of Lane and the forensics on the bullet casings, McNulty correctly concluded that an escaped Wade was the Raider who shot Helen and that he had shot at the police with the hot gun. On August 31, 2024, the Raiders MC reached Level 2 influence on their Application Hideout. Wade bought the club a Roof Running Receiver for 500 BUTC. They placed the RV behind the Chumash clothing store, allowing them to double their pay and double their parts in the Hideout app. In a private Chumash Pier meeting with Rue on September 1, 2024, a depressed Lane recounted how she wasn't friends with Allie anymore after a) that falling out where she had lectured Lane about the Raiders MC and letting Rue get away with too much, and b) that betrayal where Allie had told multiple ADMC members something Lane had confided in her. When Lane confirmed to Rue that it was about her, she replied, "Always is with her." Lane admitted to still missing Allie, and assured Rue she wasn't to blame for losing Allie--calling the hatred of Rue a symptom of the larger issue of Allie leaving the Raiders MC and losing her spot in Lane's life. Lane also mused about the harsh reality that Allie's loved ones would all pick their clubs over her. Rue admitted to feeling partially responsible for Lane losing both of her longest friends Allie and Beverly Brekker. Lane lamented her inability to grieve for him because she couldn't move past it, felt like she had no one to turn to, and worried that her self-destructiveness could bring the whole club down with her. Lane tested the waters with Rue by confessing to sleeping with Dalton to avoid losing him as a heroin connect. Afterward, Lane confessed to no other cheating. On September 2, 2024, McNulty phoned Wade to ask whether he shot Helen at the stables. Wade answered, "Yeah, I did." As he was driving his VIN scratched orange Caracara (with Mike Smoore as his passenger) away from a Raiders MC cash exchange heist they were watching, McNulty rolled up in a police Caracara. Wade showed him his drivers license and boasted that he had the gun he had shot Helen with. Helen joined in on McNulty's police chase of Wade. The police pit the orange Caracara into a pole and turtled it. McNulty and Helen eventually caught Wade in a foot pursuit. Mike punched Helen. When pickup driver Lane ran her over too, the police opened fire on Lane. Lane eventually jumped into Mason Calaway's pickup car and shot at the police--taking down both BCSO Deputy Tadhg McQuillen and BCSO Probationary Deputy Jenna Mustard. The police gunned down both Lane and Mason, and arrested them. Although Wade openly admitted to shooting Helen, he still pled not guilty to McNulty. Mike pled guilty to kidnapping Helen. |
On September 3, 2024, Lane finally came clean with Wade that not only is she in a secret relationship with Rue Day in direct violation of the club rule, Lane tried to have sex with Benji Ramos, had sex with Dalton, and told Dr. Duke Ramsey she loved him. Lane added that she offered to step down as President to become Rue's Old Lady (Wade said "that ain't happening")--and that Rue never offered to become Lane's Old Lady. Wade forecasted that nobody in the club would let Lane step down, and reasoned that it's a different situation from the two earlier ones. He pointed out the club rule that protected Lane's loved one Duke from Rue snapping and hurting him, but worried that Rue tended to be reactionary without thinking of the consequences on everybody else. Lane warned that the newly rewritten punishment for a Raider killing another Raider's loved one is getting blooded out of the club. She wanted to come clean with the club, but Wade felt like the Raiders MC wouldn't follow him if she stepped down. She added that Mason had been threatening Duke over his relationship with Lane. That same day, Rylee Kenwood finally woke up in the ICU from the car crash, missing her phone because Lane had been looking through it. Dr. Duke Ramsey verified that Rylee's skull fracture was healing, got her a new phone, and informed her that her heart had stopped and that he had to fix a bleed in her brain. He also mentioned that Dax Marshall hadn't been in to visit her. Her younger brother James Callahan (now missing his left eye) informed her that someone from their past, a former Chief of Police, showed up in Los Santos. In James' recap of all the Raiders, he left out Dax. When Rylee asked about Dax, James gave a long pregnant pause before lying that Dax was ok. James also claimed that he didn't know who shot his eye out, and apologized for leaving her the night of the car accident. Lane privately broke the news to Rylee that everyone in the club knows about her and Dax, that Dax kept lying to Lane, and that as a consequence of all that Dax was blooded out of the club. Rylee said she didn't feel anything, and apologized for disappointing Lane and the club. Lane insisted that she's not disappointed in her, returned her phone saying she only looked at certain text exchanges, and felt that neither Rylee nor Dax had intended to hurt the club. Lane tabled the questions she wanted to ask Rylee for a later time, and dropped her off at Big Ouch. Afterward, James was unable to confirm to her whether Dax was dead or alive. Rylee told James she regretted jeopardizing her spot in the club. They both agreed upon "club first" even before each other. James confessed to her that he was the one who leaked her secret relationship to the club, lamenting that he would regret that for the rest of his life. Putting on a front, Rylee called him the "voice of reason", consoled him that he did the right thing by leaking it, and assured him that it was her own fault not his. On September 5, 2024, Lane pried out of Wade that he took his hat off because he has a "tiny crush" on their new Hangaround Doll. Lane started to panic and immediately cited the club romance rule, which Wade reminded her that she was very much breaking. She pointed out the difference in the power dynamic, insisting that even for a slight crush they should play it safe and remove Doll as a Hangaround--lest it blow up in their face like the Dax situation that got him blooded out. Frustrated by a perception that Lane had jumped the gun given that nothing had even happened yet, Wade didn't want the reason for removing Doll as a Hangaround to be aired out in front of the club--and asked for a couple of days first. When Lane texted Wade that she's leaving town, he tried to talk her out of it. She admitted her stress and fear over losing both him and Rue. Wade promised to help Doll make an informed decision. In a private Hookies conversation on September 7, 2024, Wade nervously told Doll he liked her, alluded to the club's strict rule against romance, and presented her a choice between pursuing either a Prospect route or an Old Lady route. He added that if a romance between them didn't work out, then she could still pursue the Prospect route. The two of them spotted Fenyx Fahey in his Phoenix car leaving the beach alone in front of them. Doll admitted to sharing similar feelings for Wade. She explained that since she was dedicated to dying for the next group she joined, she didn't mind being an Old Lady because in her mind she'd still be dying as a member. |
The Perdition of Rue Day (September 2024)[]
Synopsis: Lane's estranged friend Allie saves her from dying when Mason Calaway's old friend Fenyx Fahey stabs and ocean dumps her. Benji Ramos rushes to Lane's bedside and then temporarily holds Fenyx prisoner to investigate. Rue Day bludgeons and ocean dumps Lane for cheating on her with Dr. Duke Ramsey. But because Rue doesn't remember doing it and doesn't have Lane's missing phone, Wade Wilson doesn't feel certain enough of Rue's guilt to blood her out--and exiles her from the city instead. Benji's assassin Kiwi manages to shoot her, but it backfires when she ends up in an ICU bed near a comatose Lane and is able to say goodbye to her. James Callahan, Rylee Kenwood, Mason Calaway, and Allie all become furious with Mike Smoore for helping Rue visit Lane and escape the city. After Fenyx botches Allie's mission to stab Mike, Benji lends them Hades soldiers to shoot Mike down. Lane survives a scary pacemaker surgery and wakes up with amnesia of the Rue attack. Upon learning why Rue was exiled, Lane concludes that she finally suffered and punished herself enough for killing Beverly Brekker.
When Mason Calaway's old friend Fenyx Fahey arrived in Los Santos, they had a falling out over Fenyx's hatred of the Raiders MC and his perception that Lane brainwashed Mason. Mason's sister Allie shared a lot of the same convictions as Fenyx and planned a heist club venture with him. In response to Fenyx's flurry of angry texts about her and her "cult", Lane teased him about being obsessed with her and playfully told Benji Ramos about him. On September 7, 2024, Lane met up with Fenyx for a secret conversation on the beach across from Hookies. He admitted to being intoxicated by her presence, but that he hated what she stood for. They discussed her estrangement from her parents, her founding of the Raiders MC, and how he still cared about Mason despite how much the club and Veronica Westfield changed him. Fenyx confessed that he used to be in love with him. In response to Fenyx saying that Allie still cared about her but missed the old her that will never come back, Lane replied that she knew Allie still loved her no matter how bad things seemed. Fenyx taunted how Lane seemed to like it when he ran his mouth. She disagreed with his claim that he didn't care about her. He kissed her lightly, turned red, denied being obsessed with her, and called it a mistake--but then kissed her again more deeply. Lane told him to leave, but then texted him to come back. After she kissed him, he stabbed her in the stomach and tried to ocean dump her to make her forget that they had done that. Wade Wilson and Doll happened to be talking at Hookies when they spotted Fenyx's Phoenix car leaving the beach. Fenyx phoned Blue that he had hurt someone important to the people he cares about. He also texted Allie that he was scared, needed a friend, and that he needed her help at the beach across from Hookies. With Wade and Doll still at Hookies, Allie phoned him that Lane was missing--and that she had found her motorbike on the beach. Wade and Allie swam out into the night ocean and found Lane before her time ran out. Allie used Wade's hoodie to stop the bleeding and performed CPR on her to make her choke up the water. Wade rushed Lane to the hospital. Allie brought Lane's motorbike and Doll to the hospital, but wasn't on Lane's emergency contact list anymore so had to find out her condition from Wade. Having been texted by Dr. Naya Nashville that he was an emergency contact for Lane, Benji Ramos rushed over to her bedside in the ICU where the Raiders were. In his investigation to find out who stabbed her and dumped in the water, Benji checked Lane's soaking wet phone--and was shocked that Fenyx was the last person to call and text her. Benji called it karma for Lane playing games with him, whispered to her that he'll kill Fenyx if he sees him, and hinted that Benji can bug Lane more now given Hades' recent troubles with Claire Miles. Afterward, Benji told Hades that Fenyx was responsible. Once Rue Day left the ICU, Wade let Allie into the ICU to see Lane. Allie told an unconscious Lane that she was tired of making excuses for the people she cared about hurting each other, and of trying to figure out which way she loses the least. Allie said she felt like she couldn't trust anyone anymore, that she doesn't know what will happen when Lane wakes up, and that she loves her. Afterward, Fenyx claimed to Allie that he got ocean dumped, worried about why Benji wanted to talk to him, and asked her what was going on--but then hung up abruptly. In the subsequent car conversation with Benji and Reggie Might, Fenyx claimed he had amnesia from being ocean dumped, denied stabbing Lane, and claimed to Reggie that he had a head concussion post-ocean dump. Remembering that Lane had beef with Fenyx, Benji demanded Fenyx's phone--but Fenyx handed over an empty phone with no SIM card in it. Benji robbed the SIM card at gunpoint and looked through it. When Reggie found traces of blood on Fenyx's knife, Fenyx claimed he was set up. As Allie was sitting on the beach with Mason Calaway, Benji called her from Fenyx's phone to fish for information about Lane's stabbing. Allie denied meeting with him as their text exchange had suggested, admitted that she used to be a Raider, and defended that she and Wade pulled Lane out of the water. Benji told her that he knew Fenyx did it, didn't know why it was allowed to happen, and that she better hope Lane wakes up soon. Allie warned Wade that Benji had interrogated her and threatened her from Fenyx's phone. Wade mentioned that he had seen Fenyx leave the beach. When Allie also told Blue, she was confused about why Benji had Fenyx and threatened Allie. Benji had Aleks Harris hold Fenyx hostage until Hades finished their ammunation crate job, incorrectly assumed that the Raiders MC must have ocean dumped Fenyx, and got mad that the Raiders must have played dumb again to Benji in Lane's ICU room. Although Wade later phoned Benji that the Raiders recently found out it was Fenyx after Benji's ICU visit, Benji still found Wade sus. With Fenyx now locked in Hades' server room, Benji had Gene Auber ask Fenyx whether he still wanted to leave given that the Raiders wanted to kill him. Fenyx chose to stay in the server room. After Hades' ammuniation crate job, Benji escorted Fenyx out of the server room. Inside of Benji's private house, he threatened to turn Fenyx over to the Raiders and to kill Allie. Fenyx gave Benji the unlock that Allie started the Raiders MC with Lane before leaving. Benji phoned Wade and learned of the evidence incriminating Fenyx and the unlikelihood that Allie would ever hurt Lane despite their "rocky" history. Wade politely asked for the Raiders MC to be the one to kill Fenyx, and agreed with Benji's theory that maybe he ocean dumped himself. Fenyx explained that he hated the Raiders MC because he saw them as a cult that his best friend Mason Calaway had joined, and pleaded with Benji not to turn him over to them. Still unconvinced by Fenyx's story that he couldn't remember anything before the ocean dumping and that he'd never stab Lane, Benji kept him prisoner in his house until she could wake up to confirm the identity of her attacker. On September 9, 2024, Benji discovered that Fenyx was still inside his house even though it had been unlocked the entire time. Benji locked it and phoned Lane, who revealed that Fenyx indeed stabbed her and threw her in the ocean. She explained that Fenyx was an old friend of Mason's who hated MCs, lied that Fenyx stabbed her because of a heated conversation that she had threatened to shoot him over (only Wade and Duke knew the truth that Fenyx had attempted to ocean dump Lane just to make her forget that he had kissed her), declined Benji's invite to his house to talk to Fenyx, and admitted her hesitancy to kill Fenyx because he was close with Mason. Benji released Fenyx alive on the condition that he run an event for the Los Santos Filipino Association--adding that he now owned him. Afterward, Fenyx kissed Mason on the Paleto Bay Pier and ran away. |
Later that night on September 9, 2024 in a private conversation with her secret girlfriend Rue Day on the Sonar Collections Dock, Lane finally confessed that she tried to cheat on her with Benji Ramos and that she was now in love with Dr. Duke Ramsey. Rue felt manipulated just like Lane's past ex-girlfriends, and accused her of lying that she loved her. After finally admitting that their relationship changed ever since Rue killed Beverly Brekker, Lane called herself a coward and confirmed she was letting go of Rue. Declaring "You don't get to fucking leave me," Rue fractured Lane's skull with a wrench and tossed her off the dock into the water without her phone. Rue texted Wade Wilson, "She left me". Georgia Priestly spotted a dying Lane in critical condition in the ER, getting treated by Dr. Beatrice Merzhin for a severe head wound and for water in the lungs. Wade and Georgia waited nervously as Dr. Duke Ramsey (with Beatrice assisting) clutched out the surgery, successfully screwing a plate into her indented skull and fixing her broken ribs. Although Rue was on Lane's emergency contact list, Duke knew the two of them had been talking and ordered Rue be trespassed from the hospital. Wade swore that if Rue hurt her she's going to be killed. Mason Calaway admitted that Allie was right that Rue would burn down the Raiders MC, and vowed to kill her before that happened. Duke reminded Lane of something they agreed upon when she successfully ran up a hill, that she's really strong. James Callahan guarded a comatose Lane in the ICU. Wade removed Rue's access to the Raiders MC's storage and club money. Duke notified acting President Wade that Rue was texting him vitriol. On September 10, 2024, Wade informed all three Prospects that Lane was beaten and ocean dumped following her talk with Rue, that Rue is missing and not responding to him, that she had lied about Lane being in the hospital because of morphine, that Rue is their #1 suspect, and that they're taking and interrogating her the next time they see her. Flynn Bobarge found it hard to believe that his sponsor Rue would do that. Wade made it clear that he will kill Rue if it's true that she hurt Lane, and ordered the Prospects that he will rotate them into Lane's ICU room each night to keep an eye on her. Wade later filled them in about the intimate history between Lane and Rue, and that his best guess was that Rue felt betrayed about Lane seeing Duke. Wade privately told an incredulous Mike Smoore that Lane and Rue were in a relationship, that Lane was seeing Duke at the same time, that she had also tried to sleep with Benji, that Rue hurting Lane followed the same reactionary pattern as Rue killing Bev, and that Rue is joining a lot of people in the ground if she did it. Mike considered Fenyx his prime suspect instead. Later that same day at Hookies, Wade and Mason secretly informed Rue's biggest critic Allie that Lane was in a secret relationship with Rue and cheated on her with Duke, that Dax Marshall was blooded out for lying about a relationship with a prospect, that clues pointed to Rue as the one who tried to kill Lane, that nothing would stop Rue from going after previously protected loved one Allie now, that Wade won't be sad if Shang Liu shot Rue in defense of Allie, and that Rue will be blooded out once Wade confirms her guilt. Wade advised Allie to pretend that she didn't know Rue had Lane's phone in the possibility they bait Rue out. Allie suggested using Duke as bait, and promised not to involve Shang so that the Raiders MC could handle it. Allie seethed over how loudly she had been warning the Raiders MC about Rue for the past nine months. In Wade's chapter meeting on September 11, 2024, he filled in Road Captain Maxx McAllister on everything that happened in the past month or so. She was dismayed that the club President would break her own rule with another member of Command, lost a lot of trust in both of them as a result, and remarked about how little the club must have meant to them. She stopped short of blaming Duke--until she found out that he knew beforehand that his friend Rue was already together with Lane. Maxx volunteered to go Nomad so the club could replace her with a more active Road Captain. The Raiders MC unanimously voted 4-0 (Maxx did not vote) to make Maxx a Nomad. With Flynn standing in the same room, Wade postponed Mason's discussion topic regarding a new sponsor for Flynn. Maxx almost left the room when Wade motioned to remove Doll as a Hangaround because the two of them have been seeing each other. |
Later that night on September 11, 2024 at the Sonar Collections Dock, Rue Day phoned her good friend Mike Smoore that right after Lane admitted to cheating on her, Rue blacked out and genuinely didn't remember what happened after that. Rue didn't know how she could stay in Los Santos watching Lane with someone else every day, and that since Bev died nobody wants Rue here. When Mike replied that Lane still loved her, Rue cited how Lane kept abandoning the girlfriends she got bored with. Rue stated that if she did it, she deserved to be blooded out--and that she's ruined everything she's ever touched. Forecasting that Lane would hate whoever shot Rue, Mike wanted to be the one to do it. Rue asked Mike to tell Wally West she loves him, that he's her best friend, and that she really wished she hadn't let him down on the Bev stuff. Rue declined Mike's suggestion to run away, and asked to be buried with her uncle back home in Wiscasota. Rue also phoned goodbyes to Wally and her prospect Flynn Bobarge. Next to a slightly moving duffel bag he brought with a wild snake in it, Wade Wilson gave Rue a cigarette to smoke. She recounted how Lane had admitted to cheating on her and leaving her for Duke. Rue said she then woke up in her apartment high on morphine. Although she admitted that it had to have been her who hurt Lane, Rue didn't have Lane's missing phone. Wade reminded Rue that she has hurt others in a reactionary state for love. She lamented that she's done nothing but ruin everything she's ever touched, that a lot of people have been right about her, that she's broken, and that she doesn't know how she's supposed to see her soulmate Lane every day when she doesn't love her anymore. Wade asked what Rue wanted to do given that he didn't have enough certainty of her guilt to blood her out. She pointed out that multiple people in the club distrusted her and would not believe her innocent, and let him decide whether she should leave or die. Concluding that he didn't have the 100% confirmation he needed to kill her, Wade told her that he couldn't let her be part of the club anymore. Citing the Founder privilege, Wade told her to leave the city and never come back--and that he'll kill her if she ever stepped one foot back into Los Santos. He took her kutte and cut off the founder's patch to give to her--but she declined and requested her uncle's panther patch instead. Wade suggested she get out of town as fast as possible, and walked off with the snake bag. During a phone call with Mike to drive Rue to the airport for Flynn, a gunman in a Grime uniform asked if she was Rue and gave her a note. After stating what the note said, "Slime King says to stay out of his Lane," he shot her down. Mike called the EMS to help her. Rue left her ICU room, and visited a comatose Lane in her ICU room. Rue said she loved her, that she hoped she could forgive her, and that she was sorry that she was poison to her. Rue gave her a polaroid of them together on a bench, kissed Lane's forehead twice, and repeated that she loved her. Lane flatlined. After Dr. Arthur Klaus managed to stabilize her, Rue warned Flynn over the phone to stop helping her. Rue said goodbye to Lane, and sped away from her outraged ICU guards James Callahan and Rylee Kenwood to the Sandy Shores Airfield with Mike. Rylee pried out of Arthur that Rue and Mike had visited Lane, and urgently phoned the news to Mason Calaway. Mason rushed to James' best guess of the airport they were fleeing to. In response to Allie's texts that she hoped Rue rotted in hell and that she was a coward, Rue texted back "Never cared much for your opinion." She texted "goodbye" to Flynn, and texted Lane: "See you soon. Love you. To the end and back." Rue chartered a plane out of Los Santos, heartbroken over having to live with her shame in exile instead of dying for her uncle's club. |
The dilemma on whether to blood out Rue polarized the people around her, with Mike Smoore, Wally West, and Flynn Bobarge wanting Rue to live while Mason Calaway, Allie, James Callahan, and Rylee Kenwood wanted Rue to die. Frustrated by Wade's decision to let Rue leave the city, Mason obsessed over proving her guilty. He, Veronica Westfield, and all three Prospects combed the city for hours and hours on September 12, 2024 in search of Lane's missing phone. Flynn finally found it underwater in the seaweed by the Sonar Collections Dock. After Mason and Veronica put the wet phone in rice, they and the Prospects went back there to search for Rue's wrench. All of them returned to the chapter room and watched Mason look through Lane's phone--but he didn't find anything proving Rue's guilt. Later that night in the Central Los Santos Medical Center, the Raiders MC, Mike, and Doll waited for the results of Lane's extremely high-risk pacemaker surgery. Allie--who still hadn't forgiven Wade for letting Rue go--walked in with Shang Liu and secretly wanted to kill Mike (whom she distrusted for betraying her confidence) for helping Rue get away. To the relief of Lane's loved ones, Dr. Duke Ramsey announced that she'll recover. When Allie left and told Mason that Mike was inside, Mason walked in and pointed a gun at Mike--but Wade stopped him. Allie then had Fenyx Fahey attack Mike with a knife outside of the hospital--but Fenyx botched it. Flynn opened fire on Fenyx, and Mike ran after Allie and Fenyx in his Phoenix. Wade texted Allie that he recognized the car. She told him over the phone her justification that Mike helped Rue get away. Wade stated that Flynn shouldn't have shot to protect non-Raider Mike, and cited Lane as the primary reason for why he couldn't risk killing Rue without absolute certainty. Still crestfallen by Duke's revelation that he was dating Lane, Benji Ramos wanted to meet Allie for sending Fenyx to stab Mike for aiding Lane's attacker. Outside of Bolingbroke, Allie explained to Benji that she wanted her own retribution for Lane ever since the Raiders MC let Rue walk and Mike helped her escape the city. Allie revealed she left the Raiders MC because she thought it was trash, that she used to work for The Company under Fiona Stewart, and that she was part of The Guild. Benji lent a couple of Hades soldiers to shoot Mike for her and Fenyx. Afterward, Allie told a downed Mike that if he really cared about Lane, he wouldn't have helped Rue escape. Mike retorted that Lane didn't love her, and that Lane loved Rue way more than she ever loved Allie. Wade had enough of Allie and cut his friendship off with her pending the resolution of their issues. Lane woke up in the ICU on September 13, 2024. She couldn't remember the Fenyx stabbing or anything after that, and began confusing her memories and her actual reality with her dreams. Duke only told her that Rue left town angry. Wade filled her in that Fenyx now rolls with Hades. Lane gave Wade the house keys and polaroid that Rue left on her during her goodbye ICU visit. During both the Wade visit and Mason's visit, Lane thought she might be dreaming, blinked hard to wake herself up, and asked Duke to confirm whether she was awake or not. Rue did not respond to Lane's texts about her memory loss, missing her, and hoping to see her soon. After a successful surgery to remove the shunt from her head and the pacemaker from her chest, Lane was discharged from the hospital on September 17, 2024. When Wade ran into Already Dead MC in the sewers, Rue's ex-boyfriend Finley Milton asked him whether Lane will be punished too. Under the misconception that romance between Raiders MC members was punishable by death, Finn added that he hoped it would be the "first time" Wade held Lane accountable for something, and worried that she wouldn't be held accountable for this. Wade hyperbolized to Finn that Lane will be punished. Later that same day in a private oceanside conversation, Wade finally broke the news to Lane why he suspected Rue as her attempted murderer--and that he exiled her from the city instead of blooding her out because of her blackout and the lack of concrete proof. Lane immediately texted Duke asking to confirm whether she was awake. She kept repeating that Rue wouldn't do that to her. When Lane blinked her eyes hard, the fog suddenly turned into a downpour of rain. Wade added that while Rue was in the ICU from being shot by presumably one of Benji's guys, she visited Lane in her ICU bed and then left town with Mike's help. Wade's face showed sorrow. Lane stared blankly at the ocean, weakly took his hand, and closed her eyes. She walked off into the rain by herself, refusing company. By losing Rue, Lane reflected that she finally suffered and punished herself enough for killing Bev. In a private car conversation, Lane and Mike Smoore agreed that they were struggling with the possibility that Rue really did hurt her. He admitted guilt for coming to terms with pulling the trigger on Rue himself to protect Lane (and to protect Wade from Lane's future hatred of whoever killed Rue, and admitted that his phone call with Rue made him realize that he didn't want to lose his friend. He recounted fleeing with Rue from an armed James Callahan and Rylee Kenwood, rationalizing that Lane would want Rue alive rather than dead. Mike also felt ostracized from the club for what he did. Lane assured Mike that she could never hate him, and felt horrible for putting everyone in that position because of how much she hurt Rue. Lane called it a "small comfort" that Rue's not dead. Mike recounted how Mason Calaway pointed a gun at him for helping Rue leave, how Allie had Fenyx Fahey stab Mike, and how Allie hired "Slime Shack" gangsters to shoot him. Mike couldn't believe that Fenyx, the guy who stabbed and ocean dumped Lane, would judge him for helping Rue leave. But Mike added that he squashed the beef with Allie. With Lane's "adopted son" Mike already not on speaking terms with Mason, his newly minted fiancé Veronica Westfield, and Rylee for aiding Rue, he infuriated Wade next (with encouragement from Lane) by stirring with his newly "exclusive" girlfriend Doll that it wasn't really exclusive because she hadn't finished breaking up with all of her exes yet. After disputing Wade's confirmation that he and Doll were "exclusive but not dating", Lane upset him by calling Doll "bad news", saying she didn't like Doll (after only hearing Mike's POV on it), and stopping him from knocking her "loved one" Mike out. Determined to repair his strained relationship with half of the Raiders MC, Mike finally informed Lane on September 20, 2024 that he wanted to formally join the club and earn his kutte. The Raiders MC made him a Hangaround. |
True North (September 2024-October 2024)[]
Synopsis: Traumatized by her near-fatal head injury and the nightmare of her current reality, Lane always feels like she's dreaming and repeatedly uses her trusted boyfriend Dr. Duke Ramsey as her "totem". She retains Thoroughbred Consulting to represent the Raiders MC in making north Chumash part of Blaine County instead of Los Santos County. The Raiders MC get in a shootout with The Besties for gunning down their hangaround Zee Bruh because of his prank calls where he impersonated James Pitts to false-flag as different MCs. The Raiders MC command members fume at Mason Calaway for sponsoring their newly transferred Prospect Faraday Murphy so attentively that she developed feelings for him. Mason marries his Old Lady Veronica Westfield in Colorado.
On September 16, 2024 outside of Big Ouch, the Raiders MC heard out a lawyer services pitch by Thoroughbred Consulting for $30,000 a month, a new law firm and consulting agency founded and owned by Siobhan Thoroughbred. Lane agreed to pay for a one-month trial period, and offered to retain them for six months if they came up with a proposal to redistrict north Chumash to be part of Blaine County instead of Los Santos County. She explained that the Raiders MC had always felt closer to the North (and the personal connections with the people who live there) than the city. Siobhan accepted the offer, plotting a legislative audit of the map of The Constitution of San Andreas to reappropriate the Raiders MC properties to Blaine County where their interests are most represented. Lane signed a retainer to lock in Thoroughbred Consulting for a trial period of one month for $30,000. The lawyers also got a tour of Big Ouch. In a Thoroughbred Consulting meeting with Lane, Wade, and Mason on September 21, 2024, Senior Partner Seren Aide updated them that he was the one drafting the framework for a Constitutional audit of the county lines in the State of San Andreas. Seren requested a sworn statement from the Raiders MC to give cause for the audit, i.e., testimonials on why representation for them would be fairer in Blaine County. Seren added that the DoJ would charge a $50,000 fee to submit it. Lane planned a statement that would paint Chumash as its own community similar to Sandy Shores and Paleto--whose needs align better with a small town rather than that of a big city like Los Santos. Afterward during a guarded meeting with Fenyx Fahey where she didn't trust his insistence that their conversation was real, Lane recklessly leapt off the Mirror Park Dam into the water below to wake herself up. In the chapter meeting on September 29, 2024, Lane prioritized the order to buy Chumash houses in, got emotional about Rue Day and postponed talking about her, formally announced that a Raiders Prospect named Faraday Murphy (who was waiting outside of Big Ouch on the beach) transferred from Maxx McAllister's Washington charter to Los Santos, formally permitted Mason Calaway to be Faraday's sponsor, and motioned to allow her to join the Los Santos charter as a prospect. The club unanimously voted 3-0 to allow it. Afterward, the Raiders MC ran to the Chumash clothing store so she could try on her prospect kutte. Lane helped Mason give Faraday a tour of Big Ouch, the Birdhouse, Matt's, and the north Chumash weed turf including their RV. For the state elections, each citizen had to pick the county that they wanted to represent them, and then vote for one mayor for that county of residence. Wade and Lane affirmed their support for Deputy Mayor Eve Summers to succeed Andi Jones as the Mayor of Blaine County. However on October 21, 2024, rival candidate Kyle Pred (whom Wade almost shot in Chumash for bad-mouthing Andi) won the Blaine County mayoral election instead. Later that day for the constitutional audit to redistrict north Chumash to be part of Blaine County, Lane e-mailed Seren the statement and signatures that they discussed. She agreed with his new plan that he would reach out to both Mayor Nino Chavez and Mayor Pred to broker a deal to redraw the county line. |
At Chumash Pier on October 4, 2024, Raiders MC Hangaround Mike Smoore accidentally hit a parked tow truck into its driver. Mike saw that a "James Pitts" was trying to phone the tow driver, and tried to notify the caller to pick up the driver at the hospital. "James Pitts" then phoned Raiders MC Prospects Flynn Bobarge and Faraday Murphy with disinformation, false-flagging as ADMC to the latter. "James Pitts" continued to false-flag as different MCs to different groups. On October 5, 2024, Mike notified Lane and Wade that a stalker has been texting Allie for months and stealing cars out of her driveway (and that Shang Liu suspected it was Mike or a Raider). Wade resolved to shoot the stalker if it turned out to be a Raider. After inexplicably phoning new Raiders MC friend Lincoln Page to set up a 30-minute meeting at a yellow house in Mirror Park (the same color of the Mirror Park house that Allie lives in), "James Pitts" suspiciously phoned Wade's girlfriend Doll to meet him at the Mirror Park lake. Although Wade confirmed with Allie that she didn't know a "James Pitts", the Raiders MC suspected her of feeding him information about who the Raiders MC's friends were. Led by Wade, the Raiders MC kidnapped and interrogated the mystery man who met with Doll at the lake--but he continued to lie about his affiliation. Given that the mystery man had a "James Pitts" ID, "his phone", and the same voice as the person who phoned Faraday, Wade shot him in the face and left him at the swamp without his SIM card. Later that night, the Raiders MC verified at the hospital and Davis City Hall that Wade had shot Zee Bruh, not James Pitts. Wade continued to investigate the text messages on the SIM card. That same night in an investigation of Allie's stalker, an ADMC convoy of Irish, Shang Liu, Ivy Grayson, JT, Sophie Sanders, and Blue interrogated Mike at a night race, robbed his SIM card and about $20K worth of car parts, and blew up his car (Ivy eventually returned the SIM card to Mike after snooping through his text messages). Zee Bruh turned out to be a Hangaround for The Besties who was impersonating James Pitts as a prank, and was mad about losing his SIM card and bleeding out in the swamp for three hours. On October 6, 2024, he phoned Wade about getting his SIM card back--but it got lost in a scuffed dumpster that Wade had accidentally kicked. Zee showed up at Big Ouch with Besties co-leader Ming Jingtai and hangaround Jack Bates. During a confrontation with Veronica Westfield, Lane, and Rylee Kenwood, Lane accused Zee of impersonating James Pitts to stir and false-flag with different MCs. When Jack hit Veronica with a gun, Lane took out both him and Zee with a wrench in the ensuing shootout. After Rylee got shot down, Ming eventually gunned down Lane. He robbed the three Raiders of their phones and escaped with Jack and Zee. Afterward in a phone negotiation with Wade, Ming was unhappy that he took Zee's SIM card but conceded that he probably deserved what the Raiders MC did to him. Zee and Jack agreed with Ming to give back all three Raiders phones. Wade also managed to return Zee's SIM card that had been scuffed in the dumpster. |
On October 8, 2024, the Raiders reached Level 4 influence on their Application Hideout, allowing Lane to buy a Hideout Garage for 750 BUTC on October 11, 2024. Having learned from Dr. Duke Ramsey that recently transferred Prospect Faraday Murphy developed feelings for her sponsor Mason Calaway after they slept in the same hospital bed while his fiancé Veronica Westfield slept on the floor, Lane texted him a threat that she'll remove him as Faraday's sponsor. Lane also texted him a "first, last, and only warning" to stop complimenting Faraday. On October 11, 2024, Lane and Wade agreed that Mason should prioritize his Old Lady V over his prospect Faraday. In the chapter meeting, Lane half-joked to the club stop sleeping with Bondi Boys MC members (due to the problems that started back when three Raiders slept with Already Dead MC members), and discouraged romance with cops. Wade nominated Lincoln Page as a Hangaround, but Lane vetoed it pending confirmation that he isn't still sleeping with someone in the club. Lane finally discussed her entire personal history with the exiled Rue Day, explained the reason for the Raiders MC romance rule, and advised to be open and honest about feelings for other club members. In Colorado on October 18, 2024, Mason married V in a private wedding ceremony. They invited Lane and Wade to it. |
Judas and the Red Messiah (October 2024-Present)[]
Synopsis: Lane threatens to shoot the new Mayhem MC President Flops Rainman for threatening to shoot Raiders MC Prospect Faraday Murphy if she ever leaked an upcoming Northern gang meeting with newly-elected Blaine County Mayor Kyle Pred (as part of his plot to sabotage the BCSO). BBMC member Bobby Beldrum gifts a big snake to Lane for her blessing to formally date Faraday. When Mason Calaway shoots Fenyx Fahey and bars both Allie and Shang Liu from visiting him in the ICU, Shang spearheads a second ADMC war against the Raiders MC by attacking Lane's boyfriend Dr. Duke Ramsey and storming Chumash. The Raiders counter-attack the ADMC's home block. The war finally ends with Lane's apology after the ADMC's newest Hangaround Allie helps them shoot down her former Raiders friends. The Raiders MC promote all four of their Prospects to Patched Members, and approve Lane's new proposal enabling an Old Lady to earn a vote.
On October 21, 2024, Lane, Wade, and newlywed Mason found out that new Mayhem MC President Flops Rainman met Prospect Faraday Murphy outside of Big Ouch to pass along a message to Raiders MC command that in three days, the Northern gangs plan to meet with newly-elected Blaine County Mayor Kyle Pred on a plan to overthrow the Blaine County Sheriff's Office by appointing a saboteur into their High Command--and that Flops had threatened to put a bullet in Faraday's head if this secret got out. Lane and Wade privately agreed that they don't care about the North anymore while Pred is in charge, that they don't think the BSCO destabilization plan will work, and that it's not ok to for Flops to threaten a Raiders MC prospect on their home turf. Armed with guns, Lane, Wade, Mason, Flynn, Faraday, and Mike met with Flops in Paleto. Lane recapped to Flops how the Raiders MC almost shot Pred in Chumash, called Flops' threat to Faraday disrespectful, and threatened to shoot him in the head if he ever threatened a Raider on Chumash turf again. They concluded the meeting telling each other to be safe. Lane gave the Raiders MC permission to shoot Flops if he ever did that in Chumash again, and ordered the club to keep Pred's "stupid little meeting" a secret. Afterward, Flops phoned Lane to own up to his poor choice of words, make amends, and squash the beef. Having finally received Prime Minister Irwin Dundee's blessing, Patched BBMC Member Bobby Beldrum sought permission from Lane, Wade, and sponsor Mason to formally date Faraday on October 23, 2024. Lane stipulated a test for Bobby to puzzle solve exactly what gift that she wants from him, with the only clue being that it's alive. Although the correct answer was a wild rattlesnake, Lane accepted Bobby's duffel bag with a big snake in it that he had stolen from the Yellow Jack tank. She gave Bobby her blessing. Also, Bobby's adopted granddaughter Allie gave him her blessing, her brother Mason gave his blessing (despite reminding Bobby that he never adopted him along with Allie), and Wade gave his blessing over the phone. |
On October 23, 2024, Fenyx Fahey pinged the estranged friend whom he was still in love with, Mason Calaway, and his Prospect Faraday Murphy to a meeting spot. When Fenyx defied Mason's warning against bad-mouthing his newlywed wife Veronica Calaway, Mason shot him in the head. Fenyx's friend Allie brought him to the hospital and threatened her brother Mason to "watch your back, pretty boy". As Fenyx's primary emergency contact, Mason barred all four other contacts Allie, her ex-boyfriend Shang Liu, Gareth Edward, and Blue from seeing Fenyx in the ICU (similar to how Allie had once barred the Raiders MC from visiting Lane in the ICU). When Shang and the ADMC pressed the Raiders in Chumash and Lane and Mason to be unbarred, Mason fake-agreed and called the doctor to double-down on the barring instead. In response, Shang, Finn Milton, and JT kidnapped Lane's boyfriend Dr. Duke Ramsey to the oil fields, interrogated him, and looked through his burner phone. After condemning Duke for being the man whom Lane cheated on Rue Day with, Finn slashed Duke's throat, carved "SNAKE" into his chest, and shot him several times. Duke's best friend, ADMC Patched Member Ivy Grayson, crashed out over Shang doing that without telling her. Lane finally gave the club order to formally blood out Shang's closest loved one, Allie, from the Raiders MC at their next available opportunity (but Allie stayed at the ADMC Block with her friend Ivy for protection from them). On October 25, 2024, Shang phoned Wade, "It is hunting season." Wade responded, "Alright. You know where we live, bitch." An ADMC war party of Shang, Irish, Kelly Dean, JT, Benny Razer, and Max Connorth stormed Chumash and downed Wade, V, James Callahan, Faraday Murphy, Mike Smoore, and Doll in a 6v6 shootout. Later that night, Shang asked the two Raiders still awake (James and Rylee Kenwood) to pass along a message that he just wanted to visit his friend Fenyx in the ICU. On October 26, 2024, the exiled Rue Day twatted that if Duke dies, she's the one who did it. Wade reaffirmed that he'll put a bullet in her head if she ever steps foot back into Los Santos. On October 27, 2024, a Raiders MC war convoy of Wade, Lane, Mason, V, Flynn Bobarge, and Lincoln Page phoned ADMC and then got shot down pushing their home block. When Shang demanded an apology from a missing Mason to end the war, Lane asked for an apology from Shang too and doubled-down on keeping him barred from Fenyx's ICU room. Afterward, Lane explained to the club that she personally didn't plan on backing down from the ADMC this time because of how condescendingly their High Command have always spoken to her--but polled the club on whether they still wanted to be a part of the war. Mason didn't want to give an apology, but offered to swallow his pride if the club wanted the war to end. Lane proposed temporarily kidnapping ADMC members, dropping them off with just a non-lethal snake bite, and adding each one to Fenyx's emergency contact list as a troll. However, it became moot later that night once Fenyx announced that he was out of the ICU. Also that night, Allie disappointed Shang with news that she had accepted an offer from Irish to become his hangaround for the ADMC. In the final day of war on October 28, 2024, Mike and Doll twatted insults at the ADMC. Shang brought along newly-minted Hangaround Allie to help the ADMC steal vehicles out of the Raiders MC Hideout Garage. After Shang warned Wade that it'll be an additional $50,000 for each day that Mason doesn't apologize, Allie helped the ADMC shoot down Wade, V, and James at Big Ouch. Wade managed to gun down the first and only ADMC casualty of the war, Hangaround Flop Dugong. The ADMC found the Street Bratz (whom the ADMC buy guns from) pushing weed on the Chumash turf, and invited them to push weed on ADMC turf instead. The ADMC then temporarily held up Flynn at the hideout garage to talk to him. The ADMC held up Faraday next, and Shang asked her to clarify whether Mason was being sarcastic or not about unbarring him from the ICU. High Command Edbert Ropeburn shot Faraday down because Wade argued with him over a miscommunication in the war terms and hung up. In response to Finn Milton's follow-up on the weed turf offer, Lacy Sinclair informed him that the Street Bratz have been trying to buy The Hidden's Hideout Receiver. Later that night, Lane phoned Allie for the first conversation since their falling out to apologize to her and make amends (starting off with a confession that she still kept Allie's patch on her red kutte)--but she refused, and afterward Lane couldn't even remember whether their talk had been real or a dream. In front of Big Ouch, Lane apologized to Shang for her pettiness in being the one to order Mason to bar him from the ICU. When she explained that she did that because of her hatred of Shang's disrespectful tone, he conceded to having a history of tone issues. He accepted Lane's apology for starting an unnecessary war that in her words, was over "probably the dumbest thing that anybody's ever warred over in the history of this city". Wade gave $50,000 to the ADMC to end the war. Afterward, Shang ordered the ADMC to stop taunting the Raiders MC for awhile to let things mend. |
On October 29, 2024, Lane patched her Prospect Flynn Bobarge at the Sonar Collections Dock where he "learned a very important lesson". Flynn reflected on his time spent as a prospect, answered that to him fortune means the experiences he went through as a result of the people he was fortunate enough to meet, and beheaded his pet snake "Jim" from the prospecting ceremony. Lane handed Flynn his unsewn Raiders MC patch. Wade patched his Prospect James Callahan on the hillside spot where they buried Ari. James reflected on his time spent as a prospect, answered that to him fortune means the club bond that he shares with his brothers and sisters in arms, and beheaded his pet snake "Ed" from the prospecting ceremony. Wade handed James his Raiders MC patches. Mason patched his Propect Faraday Murphy by Cassidy Creek in the rain. Faraday reflected on her time spent as a prospect, answered that to her fortune means being fortunate in the life that we live and the club bond of sharing the same goal to work toward, and cried over killing her pet snake "Lt. Dan". Mason handed Faraday her a Raiders MC patch and rockers. Lane patched her Prospect Rylee Kenwood at a Paleto Bay bench where she likes to think. Rylee reflected on her time as a prospect, answered that to her fortune means having a foundation of friends and family to lean on and be there for, and mercifully killed her pet snake "Nagini". Lane handed Rylee her Raiders MC patch. The Raiders MC congregated at the Chumash clothing store so all of the new Patched Members Flynn, James, Faraday, and Rylee could stitch and try on their new patched kuttes. Later that evening in the Patched Members' first chapter meeting where they had a voice and a vote, Lane reminded the club to maintain a united front, i.e. keep internal squabbles private and have each others' backs in public even if they're in the wrong (but always try to de-escalate first). Wade discussed how lucrative the crim market is for white cards, thermite, and PNY cards, with Lane adding that selling these commodities will also help build working relationships with other gangs. Wade ordered the club to protect Dr. Duke Ramsey from the exiled Rue Day given her public death threat against him, and instructed the club to contact Wade and Lane immediately if they catch Rue in the city. When Faraday voiced her growing frustrations with Hangaround Mike Smoore's attitude, e.g., him getting defensive to her when she overheard him bad-mouthing Flynn, Lane agreed that Mike changed ever since Rue left and that it isn't appropriate behavior for an aspiring Prospect. Flynn and James added that they've already spoken to Mike about it. James mentioned that the BBMC couldn't currently trade civilian guns for the Raiders' sewer guns. After Lane mentioned that The Saints reached out to her about something similar, she and Wade went over which gangs they want good relations with and which gang they don't. Faraday mentioned her good relationship with Irwin Dundee given that he actually apologized to her. Lane encouraged the club to befriend potential new Hangarounds. After closing the chapter, she led the Raiders MC on a club ride. In the chapter meeting on November 8, 2024, Acting Treasurer Wade announced that Flynn Bobarge is now handling finances and paying club members out, and that club dues are no longer required (but Lane warned they could come back if people slack off on contributing). The Raiders MC unanimously voted 7-0 (V did not vote) in favor of Lane's proposal to be able to motion for an Old Lady to earn voting rights (unanimous club vote of approval required to grant the Old Lady voting rights, and a unanimous club vote of approval required to revoke the voting rights). Based upon the issue of motivation during the earlier group therapy session, Lane prioritized doing things together. She also encouraged the club to bring new people around. Afterward in a conversation with Faraday Murphy, Lane discussed Doll's escalation during group therapy that Faraday ignores her. |
