Dan Fischer is a Senior Officer for the Los Santos Police Department, Badge #459.
Appearance[]
Fischer stands 6'1", has green eyes, and currently has silver hair but has naturally black hair.
Personality[]
Fischer is a very calm and light hearted person. He is known for his ability to remain calm even in the most stressful of situations. Although many might find him serious initially, once people get to know him they see he is a light hearted individual who loves to have a good joke around. While he is a Police Officer, he prefers that is seen as his occupation rather than who he is. He understands people are different and at the end of the day everyone is just trying to enjoy their human experience - whether that's by enforcing the law, or by breaking it. Fischer avoids judging anyone and rather tries to understand them and to support them, only wanting what's best for them.
Backstory[]
Dan grew up with two siblings and moved around a lot of countries as a child, including New Zealand, Germany and USA. Dan was close with his siblings all through their teenage years but that all changed when they reached adulthood. He had a strong sense of justice and was always drawn to law enforcement, a decision that did not sit well with his sister Sarah who was drawn more towards crime. Fischer enrolled in the local PD department where he made officer quickly.
As a full officer, Dan was involved in a major drug ring bust which, unknown to him, included his brother. Dan ended up sending him to prison where he eventually ended up dying. Sarah blamed Dan for their brothers death and disowned him on the spot, vowing to never forgive him and always hate him.
Dan who was now despised by his family, moved across the country to a large city where he joined their Sheriff's Department. Fischer thrived with the Sheriff's, rising through the ranks and making it to Sergeant where he was in charge of his entire shift. In addition, Dan became a pilot, an interceptor driver, a Field Training Instructor for cadets, an Operator for the High Value Target Unit, and his favourite achievement - a Field Training Instructor for the K9 department.
During this time, Dan also met someone that would change his life forever - V. Dan arrested V at a drug bust but the two of them hit it off instantly. After a few months of back and forth between them, Dan and V finally went on a date together. Things progressed quickly with the pair. Dan wasn't put off with her belonging to an MC, and V wasn't put off by Dan working for the Sheriff's department. After 6 months of being together Dan proposed to V to which she said yes.
One snowy night, V was tragically hit by a car in a snowstorm, killing her instantly. Dan, overcome with grief could no longer continue to work as a law enforcement officer. He resigned from the sheriffs office, said his goodbyes to friends and family, and head for the airport.
Dan spent the next five years travelling the world. He visited home in New Zealand, spent time in Bondi Beach, Australia, and many months in Europe travelling and seeing all he could. He had settled in London for a month when he received a call from a good friend, Opal Pryce. Opal stated she had just joined a Police Department in Los Santos and they were in need of experienced officers, and good people. Dan thought long and hard and felt that this was his next move in life. His healing was complete and it was time to do what he loved most - Protecting and Serving, and he was going to do it in Los Santos.
