The DNF Crew was founded by April Fooze, Yuno Sykk and Penelope Farthing who had been dabbling in racing for weeks and toying with the idea of forming their own racing group for inexperienced racers.
A couple of names were suggested for this racing crew, such as "God Squad" (suggested by Kratos of Sparta) and the "DNF Crew"(suggested by Penelope Farthing). Upon liking Penny's suggestion, April officially formed the "Did Not Finish" crew seeing as their desired members aren't expected to be particularly skilled at racing or driving. Following this announcement, crew associate Meelo Graves proclaimed April "Queen of the DNF Crew".
Origin[]
The origins of the group began with just April wanting to learn how to drive better but was soon joined by Yuno, who had often set up amateur races for himself and April in the past. Yuno took it upon himself to invite all the amateur racers he knew around the city while April set up her very first race. Upon meeting the other racers, this diverse group realized that their common goal of "becoming better racers" made them quite appreciative of each other (and their failures).
After their eventful first race, the group met at a Sandy Shores gas station, where the crew was named and the members were officially invited into the group by their "Queen" April Fooze.
Crew Dynamics[]
The general dynamics of the group is encouraging and friendly, making them perfect for beginner racers to vibe with and race without the stress of being great at it. They can often be found hyping each other up, giving repair kits and checking on each other's progress.
