The Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, or CVPI, is the most common police patrol vehicle. It is also known as the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.

General Description[]

The CVPI is a source of some discussion within the Unified Police Department/3.0. Some officers believe that the CVPI handles very well, whilst some say that it is the worst of the vehicles the PD has at it's disposal. That being said, the CVPI is infinitely better at handling the city roads than the off-road environments in the north of Los Santos.

The CVPI is a sedan that can seat up to five individuals inside.

Usage[]

This vehicle is available to all sworn law enforcement officers of the San Andreas State Police, the San Andreas State Park Rangers, the Vinewood Police Department, the Davis Police Department, the Cerberus Police Department, and the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office. as well as members of the DOC. This includes cadets, both solo and non-solo, who must be accompanied by an officer equal to or senior to that of a full officer or deputy.

The vehicle can be purchased by any member of the Unified Police Department, including Cadets, but can only be purchased by members of the Department of Corrections who hold the rank of Corrections Officer or senior.

K9 handlers may also use the vehicle, as it is modifiable to include the K9 cage.

The CVPI also has multiple liveries, including but not limited to State Police, State Park Ranger, LSPD, BCSO, High Command and DOC.
