General Description[]
Cooper, full name Cooper Jackson Quint, is an AEMT in EMS, call sign Alpha-92.
Traits and Personality[]
Cooper is empathetic, loyal to a fault, and will do anything to protect his friends and family. He wears his heart on his sleeve, is honest with those he's close to, but will often makes lies of omission to protect feelings...not theirs, but his own. He doesn't want to deal with feeling their emotions. He would lie for family to those he does not trust without a thought. Cooper is haunted by the death that seems to follow him and struggles with both anxiety and depression stemming from the constant reminder of morality. He has not been medicated for anxiety or depression but probably should be and avoids alcohol because of a history of alcoholism. He is distrusting of large truck drivers that speed around, struggles to keep up with current slang and fashion trends, and loves a dad joke.
Backstory[]
After losing his 2 year old daughter Lila to Leukemia and then losing his wife, Melinda, and unborn child to a speeding semi, Coop is coming to Los Santos to try and find a way forward to escape the specters of his deceased loved ones. He intends to stick to the straight and narrow in an effort to remain the man his high school sweetheart married, but with the right circumstances could be swayed down a different path. Ultimately he is looking for a new found family. If that family does crime he would be willing to look the other way, especially for an offer of protection.
Cooper has a positive relationship with parents and former in-laws, but needed to leave small town life to try and find things that didn't remind him of Melinda and Lila. They were collectively against it but ultimately understanding.

- His mom watched a bunch of Star Trek and he fell in love with it from a very young age. His favorite is Voyager.
- Met Mel in 5th grade. Picked on her as boys do. By middle school she was the popular girl and he was unremarkable. She flirted with him, and it was a big deal when they got together.
- B+ average student through high school. Random trivia lover. Easily could have been an A student but didn't apply himself.
- Enjoyed a sneaky party and alcohol consumption.

- Has only been with 1 person (Mel - lost virginity to one another at age 16) but is open to relationships with men or women. Adventurous in the bedroom with the right partner, taking a “will try anything once” approach. Hasn't been with anyone since Mel's passing.
- Owned a diner with Mel. Tried to keep it afloat solo but burned out and closed it. Worked in the local factory for a while after that but the work was too dull to distract him.
- Started drinking heavily after Lila's death. Mel convinced him to get help before they tried again. After Mel he slipped much deeper into his vice. Melancholy drunk.
- Incredibly awkward dating since he only dated one person.
