General Information[]
The Central Los Santos Medical Center, also known as Central Medical Center and Crusade Medical Center, is the main hospital in the city of Los Santos and the headquarters for the Los Santos Medical Group. After the fire destroyed Viceroy Medical Center, the LSMG and staff transferred to Central Hospital to continue their operation.
Nicholas Simone bought the building, constructed a new hospital in it, and changed the name to Simone Memorial Hospital. Following months of feuding with Lang Buddha, Lang and Tony Corleone blew up the Simone Memorial Hospital with C4. The Los Santos Medical Group temporarily moved their operations to the Sandy Shores Medical Center until it was safe to return to the Simone Memorial Hospital.
Notable Events[]
  After a deadly explosion and fire destroyed Viceroy Medical Center and killed several medical doctors on December 5, 2022. Head Doctor Derek Shaw announced the opening of Central Los Santos Medical Center in the South Side. The Head Doctors also appointed Hospital Administrator Sabith "Bunny" Cohen to the Los Santos Medical Group Board of Directors.   Given that Nicholas Simone built the brand-new hospital and renamed it to Simone Memorial Hospital, LSMG doctors feared a hostile takeover. But Bunny pointed out that Nick couldn't legally privatize the hospital, slash the budget, or cut any of the doctors' wages and meals because they were all employed under Head Doctor Derek Shaw's Los Santos Medical Group. As a compromise, Nick joined the LSMG Board of Directors on December 15, 2022. He eventually befriended both Bunny and Nancy Drew. On January 9, 2023, Nick introduced Head Doctor Pixie Plum to the newly reconstructed Simone Mental Institute for Long-term Evaluation, a replacement for the destroyed Parsons Rehabilitation Center. |

Simone Memorial Hospital was originally headed by an LSMG board of directors consisting of five members: Dr. Derek Shaw, Dr. Alexander Blake, Dr. Pixie Plum, Hospital Administrator Sabith "Bunny" Cohen, and Hospital Owner Nicholas Simone. Anastasia Loreley and her wife Freyja Hemlock, serial killers who targeted cops and medical staff using the moniker "Janus", kidnapped board member Dr. Blake and held him captive to prolong a torture victim's life (Cassidy Fitzpatrick). Janus gave Nick and Bunny a recording of Dr. Blake in the Wyld Child storefront on February 16, 2023, and extorted Nick for supplies (two colt pythons, two burner phones, and two handcuffs). The next day, Anastasia briefly kidnapped Bunny to use as leverage against Nick. Although Dr. Blake eventually managed to euthanize Cassidy and escape from Janus on February 19, 2023, he suffered mortal gunshot wounds from the colt python that Nick had given Janus. Dr. Blake tendered his resignation from the hospital, stating that he had lost the urge to help people and could not return in his current state. The police eventually caught Anastasia on February 25, 2023 after she attacked Det. Sgt. Ashley Smith, and Freyja died in a shootout after holding up Deputy Marshall Anita May.  The hospital's General Counsel Norman Adams reported that during Anastasia's police interrogation, she claimed that both Nick and Bunny had paid off Janus to hold Alexander captive for an extra 30 days. This claim made both Dr. Blake and his fiancée, Eryn Carter, paranoid that Nick and Bunny had it out for Dr. Blake. Dr. Blake eventually died on April 2, 2023 from the mortal gunshot injuries inflicted by Janus. Later that day, Simone investigator Brian Knight took Anastasia' bait in exchange for a possible plea deal on her death penalty case. DoC officer Levy Martinez colluded with Wyld Child owner May Flowers and twatted a photo of Anastasia talking to Brian and her attorney Siobhan Fitzpatrick. Brian held Levy until trial for witness tampering. Hypothesizing that the LSMG Board of Directors conspired to violently remove Dr. Blake from the board, Brian recruited Jeffrey Bundy to help him investigate Nick and Bunny as possible accessories to Dr. Blake's murder. Primary on the case Anita May warned Brian and Bundy that Anastasia liked to twist the truth. In April 2023, Dr. Charlie Jannetty was promoted to Dr. Blake's vacant spot as a Head Doctor on the LSMG Board of Directors. Brian's police investigation went cold. On May 24, 2023, Deputy Mayors Eve Summers and Alex Domino informed Mayor Lang Buddha that Anastasia wanted a mayoral pardon from the death penalty. The next day at Anastasia's sentencing hearing, she fatally stabbed Judge Antigone Weston in the neck with a pen. Anastasia was finally executed by lethal injection on May 31, 2023. |
 The next threat to the Simone Memorial Hospital came from Mayor Lang Buddha, who wanted to cut off all State funding to the hospital because Cleo Shaw's tormenter Nick Simone owned it. Lang alleged that Los Santos medical care had become privatized by a "terrorist". He called Nick a terrorist on Twatter and provoked him with a state announcement about an investigation into the "death" of his brother Michael Simone. Nick angrily blew up Lang's car and spray-painted "MICHAEL WAS HERE" next to it. On March 19, 2023, Lang smeared the hospital on Twatter: "When did the hospital become a gang compound for the diamond dogs(who work for the simones) and a place that sells drugs. bring back hospitals that are ran by the people, for the people." Lang baited Diamond Dogs leader Sai Carter and Lizzie Byrne into shooting at his armored car, but overestimated how bulletproof it was and collapsed from gunshot wounds. Nick sent Lang a "notice to cease and desist" from the Los Santos Medical Group general counsel Norman Adams for defamation of character, and attempted to canvass votes against Lang in the next mayoral election. Lang blamed the assassination attempt on the Simones and subjected his own people to loyalty tests, forcing Nancy Drew, Eve Summers, Yeager Demonblood, and The Guild to cut ties with their Simone friends.  On March 21, 2023, Nick hunted for Yeager at Icecrown Citadel with a gun for spooking "Simone sister" Andi Jones into distancing herself from the conflict. After Lang held up Nick at the Diamond Casino and Resort and screencapped his romantic text messages with Eve, Nick grew angry and depressed by the corruption of the city and the lack of opposition against Lang. Bunny discovered that Nick had tagged "CORRUPTION", "LANG BUDDHA", "DEATH" and "NUCLEAR" all over the walls of his secret bunker, before he went into hiding. On March 28, 2023 during a private meeting at the Del Pero pier, Mayor Lang informed fired LSMG doctor Arya Fitzpatrick that he planned to dismantle Simone Memorial Hospital and build a new one. Lang approved of Arya's proposal to round up LSMG's disgruntled EMS workers into a brand-new Procyon Medical group and hospital. In response to Nick's encrypted Twatter message, Lang led a hunting party after him with Harry Brown, Denzel Williams, Speedy, Tony Corleone, and Trey Romano. When they brainstormed going after the doctors closest to Nick, Lang phoned Nancy Drew with their intent to pick up her best friend Bunny--but Nancy talked him out of it. To Harry's frustration, Lang ordered them that Bunny was off limits. After Harry shot at Nick's rented futo, Nick initially began mobilizing Seaside for war--but Seaside leader Benji Ramos ended up negotiating a truce with Cerberus at La Fuente Blanca. Meanwhile, Chang Gang continued to hunt Michael Simone and his associates for shooting down their member Miguel Almerion and blowing up The Hydra Pit. Everyone associated with the Simones and the hospital became stigmatized as Simone lovers and disciples. CG captured Nick, Benji, and Dragon Rush at the Simone Mental Institute for Long-term Evaluation. CG shanked Nick and blew up the Simones' secret hangar. CG also kidnapped Andi Jones in front of the HOA and tortured her for information. Depressed by the difficulty of opposing both CG and Cerberus, Nick went on several drug benders. Lang masterminded leaks of the "dirt" that CG found, including Jenny Hall's private texts to Michael and judicial candidate Norman Adams' texts plotting against Lang's re-election for Mayor of Los Santos. Out of loyalty to Nancy Drew, Lang once again scrapped plans to go after Bunny. With all-out war breaking out in the city between the CG umbrella and the gangs they had ocean dumped the leaders of, Harry Brown helped CG kidnap Dr. Pixie Plum and therapist Quinn Naiper to look for the secret room at Simone Mental Institute for Long-term Evaluation. Also at Dennis LaBarre City Hall, an unmasked Denzel Williams shot down newly-elected Judge Norman Adams with complete impunity and told him to send the Simones his regards. On April 8, 2023, Bunny warned Nick that Pixie's kidnappers were most likely looking for his secret hideout at SMILE. Afterward, Eve Summers upset Nick by bringing Lexi Law, Lando Stormborn, and Antonio Rodrigues along to a message tree that Nick had secretly pinged only Eve to. When a drone bombarded Icecrown Citadel with an airstrike, The Guild swore revenge on Nick and hunted Bunny to get to him. However, because of Yeager's public death threat to Nick's friends over Twatter and Richman Hotel guest Dr. Dahlia Fey's warning, Bunny and her husband Sexton Hardcastle finally decided to leave town until everything blew over. CG wound up kidnapping and torturing Dahlia. Following Mayor Lang's state announcement on April 17, 2023 that he successfully increased work receipts (to $400), he got into a Twatter war with Dr. Emerson Laurier over how underpaid doctors were compared to Burger Shot and went looking for her. In a phone call with Lang, Dr. Dahlia Fey explained that the Simone Memorial Hospital doctors were afraid to speak to him because of his hatred of Nicholas Simone, and convinced him to get the Senate to increase their EMS and doctor pay. Lang became disillusioned with his Mayor job. He and Cerberus also lost motivation in running their own hospital to rival the Simones' because of their negative business view of Dr. Arya Fitzpatrick's Yokai leader Mary Mushkin, who owned Procyon Medical. Lang decided to focus on Betta Life Pharmaceuticals instead. Hydra finally caught Michael Simone and turned him over to the police. Having been disowned by Lang over the Simone feud, Yeager became the official owner-operator of his own sovereign island named Sanguine Isle. Then to Lang's shock, Mary completely turned on Arya for proposing her own medical group and hospital that would relegate Mary to silent partner--reinforcing Lang's position to only help Procyon Medical as Mayor and not as a Cerberus investor (however according to Atty. James Haze, Lang's mayoral administration ended up denying the Procyon Medical business).  After Nicholas Simone returned to the hospital, Bunny announced new hospital policy changes from the LSMG Board of Directors on May 22, 2023 which included new ranks, new sub-departments (with directors), the new nursing program, the new surgeon role and tags, the new training certification and RTP, the elimination of STD, pharmacy program changes, and the new food deal with Lucky Plucker. Arya Fitzpatrick re-applied to be a doctor at the Simone Memorial Hospital. Ironically, Mary Mushkin ended up bankrolling the successful mayoral campaign of Bunny's husband, Sexton "Hardcastle" Cohen. Sexton succeeded Lang Buddha as the Mayor of Los Santos on June 10, 2023, effectively ending the conflict between Simone Memorial Hospital and the Mayor's Office. Also, Chief Judge Alan Crane and the Senate ended up denying Tim Collins' Medical Reform Act legislation for AEGIS to oversee both the Los Santos Medical Group and Procyon Medical. |

Having been previously denied a pharmaceutical company by the Mayor Lang Buddha administration, former terrorist Michael Simone (now an investor) and Jazz Ryder (the new Chairman of the Board) met with Mayor Sexton "Hardcastle" Cohen and Deputy Mayor Etta Hawthorne on June 19, 2023 to pitch their new "Nexus Pharmaceuticals" distribution and logistics company. Sexton suggested a meeting with the LSMG Board of Directors given that Simone Memorial Hospital already had PillBot's pharmacy. Purposely invited into the office by Michael, Eve Summers partially overheard Sexton complaining about Lang's grudge against Hospital Administrator Bunny and how Sexton only cared about one person in Lang's family. Eve also felt indignant toward Sexton's idea for her and Tim Collins to start a new task force in AEGIS for auditing business grants. Lang finally broke his silence and called Sexton, confronting him about what Eve had overheard. When Sexton told Lang that he had bad-mouthed him for ghosting him, Lang "penciled him in for Christmas Day" and hung up. Afterward, Sexton sent Lang an event invite to a Christmas meeting--but Lang didn't see it (Sexton also eventually texted an apology to Lang which he rejected). On June 26, 2023, Michael and Jazz pitched "Nexus Pharmaceuticals" to the LSMG Board of Directors with Mayor Sexton Cohen in attendance. Michael offered to produce over-the-counter and prescription medication for the Simone Memorial Hospital and Simone Mental Institute for Long-term Evaluation to sell. Bunny explained that in the past, their hospital pharmacy had too many drugs and was too complicated for their pharmacists to understand. Jazz offered to streamline the process. The LSMG Board of Directors granted "Nexus Pharmaceuticals" a one-month trial period to take over both over-the-counter and prescription medications for the hospital. Bunny offered Jazz a list of the drugs that they need, and Mayor Sexton unilaterally approved the Nexus Pharmaceuticals business proposal despite awareness of how Michael Simone's enemies would react. |
  Lang Buddha and Det. Juno Sweeney attending the Monday LSMG hospital meeting on July 10, 2023 Cerberus and their Director of Research and Development Kitty Dream fumed about Nexus Pharmaceuticals due to her years of disappointments in trying to legalize oxy sales for her own Betta Life Pharmaceuticals company. Cerberus again considered starting a new hospital and medical group, but this time for Kitty instead of Procyon Medical. Convinced that Head Doctor Derek Shaw had Judge Serge Cross revoke the medical licenses of Kitty's Betta Life pharmacists Maxwell Goethe and Emerson Laurier after they left the Los Santos Medical Group, Cerberus accepted Dr. Charlie Jannetty's invitation to the Monday LSMG hospital meeting on July 10, 2023. But with Hospital Administrator Sabith "Bunny" Cohen, Hospital Owner Nicholas Simone, Mayor Sexton "Hardcastle" Cohen, and new police detective Juno Sweeney all in attendance, Lang Buddha, Leslie Lingberg, Denzel Williams, and Harry Brown left early--and Lang decided to blow up Simone Memorial Hospital instead. The next day on July 11, 2023, Denzel Williams, Harry Brown, and Speedy helped Lang Buddha and Tony Corleone plant two C4 bombs in Simone Memorial Hospital and blow it up, forcing it to shut down for about three days. The Los Santos Medical Group temporarily moved their operations to the Sandy Shores Medical Center during this period. MCU Director Brian Knight arrested Future Hendrix on suspicion of terrorism because he had twatted a selfie with one of the C4 bombs, but ended up releasing him. |
 On August 28, 2023 during the violent and traumatic war between the State of San Andreas and Sanguine Isle, hospital doctors and EMS voluntarily served as combat medics for the PD army as they invaded Sanguine Isle. Chief of EMS Kiki Pendragon stipulated that all medics be non-combatants who only provide medical aid. Also per a phone agreement with Commandant Yeager Demonblood, Nicholas Simone had the the Russians dogfight with the PD jets in exchange for the Sanguinians not shooting at EMS. However, some Sanguine soldiers still targeted combat medics. To Kiki's chagrin, Senator Sean Davis worked to rally the combat medics into fighting with the PD army, with some of them even taking up arms and helping the PD soldiers push. Deputy Walter Christmas false-flagged as an EMS with an RPG. Additionally, Director Brian Knight and Senator Davis asked EMS Veronica Mars (Nick's girlfriend) to secretly plant a C4 bomb in the bunker of the final Sanguine holdouts under the guise of treating wounded combatants. Although Conan Clarkson shot her down before she could plant the C4, the incident went viral and provoked widespread public outrage. After the war, Sanguine sympathizers began to attack and threaten the lives of medics. Nick attempted to stop the violence by speaking with gang leaders. But after a heated fistfight over the issue with fellow board member Dr. Charlie Jannetty on September 1, 2023, Nick decided that the doctors deserved to be hunted. Board member Sabith "Bunny" Cohen asserted their duty to protect all doctors and told Nick that if that's how he genuinely felt, he should step down as a board member. Nick quit the LSMG Board of Directors as a result. Convinced that Nick had threatened their lives, Dr. Jannetty, Dr. Frederick Frasier, and Dr. Philippa Canter conferred with Dr. Denzel Williams and Betta Life Pharmaceuticals owner Kitty Dream about leaving the hospital Nick owned and starting their own Cerberus-backed hospital at her Eclipse Medical Tower. However, Head Doctor Derek Shaw and Bunny distrusted Cerberus and felt that Nick deserved the benefit of the doubt after everything he did for LSMG. Lang Buddha also had Eve Summers cancel the business proposal for the new hospital, calling it "too messy". |
