General Information[]
Born in Louisville Kentucky, To Andrew Fraser, a Scottish immigrant from Inverness and Maria Diaz, a first generation Mexican American, Camila's home life wasn’t the stuff of dreams. Her father wasn’t the most loving or caring man, though her mother tried to give her daughter enough love and support . Her father was a 1%er and she grew up in the MC life, which wasn’t the place for a child to be. Camila wasn’t great at school though she loved reading, and history, the only two subjects in school she even remotely excelled at. When she wasn’t working with her mother at the family restaurant, Camila started playing volleyball. It felt nice to give her something to get out of her house, which was almost always filled with her fathers friends from the MC, who tended to leer at her like she was a piece of meat. The one plus side to this was she learned early on how to throw a punch.
At 17 Camila found herself a teen mom, the father of the baby a boy from high school that she’d had a one night stand with. Not ready to accept motherhood and scared she’d be no better a parent then her own she gave her daughter up for adoption before joining the military. She did well there, for the most part, though her temper didn’t give her an easy time. She was Medically discharged from the Army when she lost an eye, part of her lung, a kidney and portion of her liver in an IED explosion when she was 24 years old. Her time in the military, along with the CPTSD of her childhood left Camila somewhat cold and feeling distant from most people, as though she didn’t truly belong anywhere, though she was desperate to feel as though she did belong. The only place she could go back to was her home town, though she loathed the idea.
Returning to her childhood home she was met with the fact her mother, Maria, had died from stomach cancer a year before and her father ,Andrew, was locked up in prison for life for murdering three men. She spent six months around her fathers old MC hoping she could at least still have a home among them, before an incident with one of the members, Issac, took place. He assaulted her when she refused to become his old lady, not wanting to be relegated to being a man's property. When no one seemed to care, She took matters into her own hands, using a wrench in the garage the club owned to beat him. She didn't stop until half his face was gone and once the adrenaline wore off she realised what she had done. Cami knew the club would want to get her for what she’d done, if not the police for murder. With no choice Camila packed up what she could, selling half of her family's things and went on the run.
After a few years moving from place to place, Camila finds herself in Los Santos, a place where no one knows her and she can hopefully find a fresh start. She has no idea what the future holds for her but she knows three things: She will never be poor again, she will never let anyone control her, and she will do anything to survive. Starting over in a new place is nerve wracking but she hopes now she can really move on from her past, maybe find a family of her own and a place to belong for the first time in her 26 years of life. But her temper, and her past could easily catch up to her, nothing stays hidden forever after all, no matter how far down you bury it.
Character Arc 1[]
After coming to Los Santos, Cami started working at Big Dogs for a while and chilling with a few members of Chaos Legion. A night of bad dreams left Cami suffering from a PTSD attack and while she hasn't admitted it out loud to anyone, she pulled back from the city to stay at a VA hospital for treatment.
Recently returning to the city she made the choice to apply for an Intern position at the hospital, something she claims is a way for her to try to help her on her way of bettering herself by helping others. She also started making friends with Autumn Perry and through Autumn she met Antonio "Diablo" Diaz . Diablo and Cami started to notice similarities between them and they decided to get a DNA test, which showed they where Maternal Cousins, with Diablo's father being Cami's Tio (uncle).
Three days after the discovery, Camila, Autumn and Diablo where held up outside Liquid Library. The men asked for Camila and when she stepped forward they questioned if she new a Aleks. Despite not knowing who they where talking about they told her she should learn some respect and proceeded to hit Camila with brass knuckles in the head, resulting in a fractured skull. Camila was taking the hospital and went into cardiac arrest due to a Cerebral Edema, which had her taken to surgery to relieve the pressure. When she woke after surgery, Autumn came to visit her, explaining to Camila what had happened as the other women's memory of the events were vague.
Camila later woke to find she had texts from Wade Wilson, whom she invited to visit her in the hospital. While waiting for Wade she sat with her Mentore Jackie Leggs, looking over her own ICU report. While in the MDT she found her cousins report, seeing the name Aleks Harris on the report. Looking further into it Camila started to connect the dots, finding a Twat from Aleks that came around the same time she was brought into the ER. When Wade came up the two sat and talked before Camila asked Wade to get her out of the ICU, realising she may still be in danger. Wade took her back to his apartment, offering to keep an eye on the still very injured intern for the night. During the night Camila slipped out while Wade slept on the couch and returned to her own apartment.
The next day Camila called Nox Thompson for a ride to the hospital so she could get checked up on by a fellow doctor. During her visit, Perri Watson called her over, expecting to chew Camila out for leaving without a discharge only to find that Cami had told Jackie to discharge her but he had just forgotten to add it to her report. After getting looked over and having a conversation with Perri about the incident Camila left with Nox, spending the day with him as he refused to leave her alone while she was injured. She is currently staying at Nox's house in Mirror Park while healing.
