Brick James, also known as Brick Schittowski, is a character role-played by walnutcast.
General Description[]
Brick James (b. April 21, 1980) is a Deputy for the Senora Desert Sheriff's Office, Badge #925. He later became a salesman at Hot Topic, with a side hustle as enforcer to Maximilian Thoroughbred, and founder of the subsidiary of MaxSec known as BrickSec, as well as his mayoral body double and head of MaxSec.

On June 25, 2023, Brick decided to travel on an ill-fated voyage with Charlotte Fairfield to the Sanguine Isle where he was lured into a hunting competition. Both he and Charlotte were abducted by the Isle's elite who forced them to duel with each other or risk being shot. As the duel commenced, Brick deliberately did not attack Charlotte in order to spare her life which resulted in her gravely injuring him. Brick was then repeatedly shot by Kyle Pred. Following a period of unresponsiveness and several minutes of CPR he regained cardiac output and was left in a critical condition. He was transported by boat back to the mainland and admitted to the ICU at Michael Simone Memorial Hospital. During Brick's time in ICU, Michael Simone Memorial Hospital experienced an explosion in which Brick sustained significant burns. He was fortunately found by a doctor in the flaming remains of the ICU and transferred to the medical facility in Sandy Shores whilst the aforementioned hospital was repaired. On July 27, 2023, due to concerns he may be fired for not attending work, Deputies Pat Downing and Wayne Thunder graciously offered to take Brick to work where he patrolled with them whilst still in a coma. Brick had thankfully prepared a series of notes which would fall out of his pockets at opportune moments in order to facilitate communication with others. Brick helped to conduct traffic stops with his colleagues whilst comatose, lying on the ground and still attached to his IV. |
