General Description[]
Bayvon Barksdale was a Cadet for the Los Santos Police Department, Badge #555. He is the nephew of Leanbois founding member & leader Avon Barksdale.
Background[]
Growing up[]
Growing up, Bayvon has experienced crime at a young age, coming from an impoverished family. Being Avon Barksdale's nephew, he always had a hard time making friends and some of his schoolmates bullied him for not having a normal family like them. He went to school with Anthony Copleone and became great friends quickly.
After finishing school, he promised himself that he would never turn out like his uncle, but instead do everything in his capacity to keep the city clean from the criminals that try to ruin it. Sadly however, coming from a stressful childhood, he took up smoking and drinking at an early age, leading to his signature deep raspy voice.
Joining the LSPD[]
On the 20th of February, Bayvon's dream finalized when he was accepted for training at the Mission Row Police Dept.
He was quickly put under the command of Trooper O. Copper, as a ride-along alongside with Senior Officer S. Baas and his old friend Officer A. Copleone. On their first shift they faced a bomb situation as well as a few minor callouts.
Major Cases and Calls[]
The "Speed" Bus[]
On his first day on the job, and as a ride-along, the squad car was called to an on-going vehicular pursuit involving several officers and a bus. Upon questioning the driver, while driving nonetheless, he informed the officers that he was told that if his bus went under 50 MPH, the bomb on-board would immediately explode.
Following a lenghty chase all around the state (mainly highways), the police helped the passengers - and finally the driver - vacate the vehicle. After getting everyone out alive, Trooper Copper decided to grind the bus to a halt by blocking it by their own patrol car. This, however, resulted in a collision and Copper barely surviving her injuries.
After calling an ambulance, the remaining three officers were told by Copper to destroy the bomb on-board the bus by driving it off the Del Perro Pier. Followed by this was an intense, adrenaline fueled race against the clicking clock and finalized by the large splash of the bus against the waves of the ocean. But it was not over. The officers soon realized that another bomb existed all along. They quickly returned to the scene and put the other bomb into a civilian vehicle, crashing it into the ocean once again, finally saving the day.
On March 1st, Bayvon learned an important lesson: "Never to trust a mothaf**ker", when he attempted to cuff the known criminal "X", only to have the crook escape. From this moment on, Bayvon assured himself that he would always wait for a "click" as confirmation of a successful cuffing.
