The East Side Ballas (ESB) are a South Side street gang primarily operating out of Davis, particularly Grove Street. They are one of the most feared southside gangs and mainly deal in drugs, weapons trafficking, and other criminal activities.

As the Los Santos government crumbled, the Ballas stayed on Grove Street for as long as possible. It got to the point where they had a bonfire in the middle of the Cul-de-sac for warmth. A rival gang of survivors left in Los Santos attempted a supplies raid on the culdesac in the night. OG Harry Holmes was killed in a hard fought battle defending his roots on the Sac, helping the Ballas come out victorious in battle one final time. The Cul-de-Sac, once a thriving hub of Balla activity, fell silent. The Ballas stuck it out and remained on the cul-de-sac. In the chaos faces left, good people died, but the world stayed purple. Over the 5 years the Ballas grew closer together and more rugged and determined to survive than ever. Now, having recently heard of a resurgence of activity in Los Santos, knowing that the city the government left behind has transformed, new faces, old faces, new rivals, and new challenges await the Balla gang as they emerge from the shadows. Los Santos will now move on, and it's time for the Ballas to reclaim their throne – or forge a new legacy.

Gang Hierarchy[]

Leader[]

The Leader of the set. The role of the Leader is to be the face of the gang. This person is not "above" other Double OGs. They are front and centre when it comes to communications. They put most of their work into understanding each individual member, what they enjoy and how to get the best out of them as well as figuring out their weaknesses and trying to guide them to improve. They should set the culture of the group, deal with any internal conflicts/disagreements, and delegate jobs to members throughout the ranks.

OG[]

OGs are the first step into full leadership of the set. If you're talking to a OG, you're talking to one of the longest serving and highest ranking members of the Ballas. They are in charge of the set if a Double OG isn't present.

Shotcaller[]

Shotcallers are in direct contact with the leaders, are part of the command, and relay information to lower-ranked members. They are in charge of the set if an OG is not present.

Enforcer[]

The job of Enforcers are to Enforce group code, and to lead groups during conflic2222ts. They keep their eyes on the short term goals for the group and try to help find fun ways for members of the group contribute to them. Their communication skills are on point, and they've proved serious loyalty to the higher ups. They are in charge of the set if no OGs or Shotcallers are present.

Gangsters[]

Gs have been around longer than the other Gs, they've been puttin' in work for the set continuously but they don't yet fit/want a higher rank. Their only added responsibility is to mentor the other Gs, helping take on the workload of Enforcers. They cannot make gang decisions on their own and take no responsibility in leadership of the gang.

Young Gangsters[]

YGs have been BGs for a while and have shown they have potential to gain rank and move up in the set. They're eager to prove their worth to the set.

Baby Gangsters[]

BGs are officially blooded into the gang after proving their loyalty by putting in tons of work for the set. This is the first step towards proving their skills and moving up the hierarchy.
