Background

Ayala Imani was born and raised in Brazil. She was born into a rich family and lived a luxury lifestyle, until her father, Lucas Imani, died of unknown reasons when she was very young and all of sudden all their wealth disappeared, leaving her mother and her younger sister with no money. Without warning, they were tossed out of their luxury life and into the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Her mother, Liliana Flor, started to act distant, she was at home for some days, and then she would leave for three days; until one day she didn't come back. Making Ayala believe that her mother ran away with her father's money and that she was also involved in her father’s death. Unfortunately, because of that, Ayala and her little sister were put in an orphanage.

Ayala's time at the orphanage was not easy, she saw her little sister leaving and getting adopted by a family that didn't want to adopt both of them. She was getting older and nobody wanted to adopt her. They said that she was a very difficult, greedy, and insensitive little girl and no one wants to be around someone like that. During her time at the orphanage, she learned Brazilian jiu-jitsu and she was starting to learn Spanish. She had to gain her own money in order to have something to herself, so she joined jiu-jitsu tournaments to get some money. She was really good at it and she actually managed to save a really good amount of money.

Eventually, with 18 years old, Ayala had to leave the orphanage, she wasn't sure about her future, but she was happy that she managed to get out of that horrible place. She managed to find a place to stay and a job. She spent some years working at a local cafeteria, she was saving a good amount of every paycheck. Ayala also spent some time trying to find her sister, but with no success.

Ayala didn't have many opportunities to make friends or to experience, even when she left the orphanage, she didn't have time to find friends or a relationship, she was always working so hard that she didn't have time to take care of herself. She only knew the concept of love when it was about her father and sister, which was not enough since she didn't spend much time with them.

Now with 22 years old, she felt that her life was a complete waste of time. She had no reason to stay in Rio or in Brazil, she wanted something more, a fresh start. One day she remembered a conversation that some ladies at the orphanage had, they were talking about Los Santos and about the fact that a lot of people were going to that place, either to pursue a dream or to have a fresh start. The girl really wanted a new challenge and a new start, so why not take that chance?

Personality

Ayala’s an introverted and kinda chill person, but that doesn't mean she is afraid to get in someone's face and tell them off if needed. She has a serious trust issue, but once you’re close to her, she completely changes into another person. She’s loyal and will protect her friends at all costs. Because of that, she's always putting people that she loves first and forgetting about herself.

She’s really sincere, so if something bothers her, she will talk about it, even if it ends up hurting someone’s feelings. Ayala really praises the truth, so if you do something “bad” but ends telling her the truth, she will definitely put more effort into understanding your side and “forgiving” you.

She used to be a very pessimist person, she spent her teenage time in an orphanage and had no reason to dream or have objectives, nowadays she’ll do anything to reach her goals, she won’t let go until she finally gets what she wants, and she can be selfish when she's really focused on her objective. She learned, in a very hard way, to not take anything for granted.

Although she is very nice and friendly, she can be very aggressive when upset. Ayala is not easily intimidated, but she knows the right time to act or speak, sometimes she can read some situations pretty well.
