Axel Justice was the Commissioner for the Federal Investigation Bureau, Badge #100.
Background Information[]
Axel Justice arrived in Los Santos on August 7th, 2023, having been forced out of retirement after Sam Baas' death and moved from Virginia at the request of the Los Santos Senate to take up the position of Commissioner within the newly reformed Federal Investigation Bureau. The Senate decided with the return of the FIB, that the police would be split into federal, state, county, and city and local jurisdictions.
History[]
The heightened escalation of bombings in San Andreas, one of which killed Commissioner Sam Baas in the line of duty, led the Major Crimes Unit to investigate Commandant Yeager Demonblood's smuggling of explosive weaponry from the Sanguine Isle. Commissioner Axel Justice, MCU Director Brian Knight, and Senator Sean Davis ended up spearheading the PD army's invasion of Sanguine Isle on August 28, 2023 in a bloody and controversial war, resulting in over 50 Sanguine combatants being sentenced to 30 years in prison for treason. The PD army's victory over Commandant Yeager Demonblood's army and destruction of his bomb-making bench became overshadowed by accusations of war crimes and growing dissent against Davis, Brian, and Axel.
Commissioner Axel agreed to Asst. Chief Richard Dark-Rhodes's suggestion for a PD high command panel to review Axel's conduct for shooting a prisoner from a Bolingbroke Penitentiary rooftop (claiming that the shoes they threw at him could have knocked him off the ledge), and for Axel and Director Brian Knight discussing killing undercover cop Johnny Divine to stop Sanguine Isle leaks. To HC's surprise, Commissioner Axel voluntarily suspended himself until the completion of their investigation.
Death[]
On September 7, 2023 during an uprising by "Little Sanguine" inside of Bolingbroke Penitentiary, Axel Justice voluntarily surrendered himself to the prison rioters in exchange for the downed officers inside of the prison. Subsequently in a televised execution, Yeager Demonblood and TJ Walker shot Axel Justice dead.
