Ari Oquendo is a character role played by MeltyTTV.
Background[]
Ari is a 26-year old Puerto Rican woman currently an Intern with The Company. She has burgundy red hair that she either wears in a bun or lets down to relax.
Ari grew bored of the monotony of her daily routine as she worked her office job day in and out, and thought graduating college was the answer to her problems, but she was lacking thrill in her life. She possessed a magnetic personality—hot-tempered, spicy, and snarky, but also exuded a captivating combination of sexiness, fun, and passion when she so choses to reveal that side of her.
Ari hides behind the façade of being extremely clumsy and when faced with more tough situations, she gets extremely anxious and panics. She found herself to have been more fortunate to have had a peaceful upbringing, but she knew deep down, she was truly not living.
Exhausted from constantly being taken advantage of by her higher-ups at work and never gaining credit for the things she worked hard for, she decided to pack her bags up and toss a dart on the map. Los Santos… a place where dreams are made just as quickly as they are rushed. She didn’t know a thing about the city, its inhabitants, nor it past but she nevertheless pushed through and hopped onto the flight to the city. Lost in the bustling city, Ari O. tried her best to remain hopeful for a new life in Los Santos.
Scam Squad[]
Upon arriving to the city, Ari was really overwhelmed with the chaos of everything and wound up at Snr. Buns where she needed to grab a quick meal and escape off to somewhere quieter. She however quickly realized that the city operates highly different than what she was used to, and she didn’t know how to pay. While being screamed at by the staff and subsequent line behind her, a man named Lenny Large steps up to help Ari pay and drags her out of Snr. Buns with his companion, Gary Guppers. They roamed around the city, laughed, freestyled to Lenny’s beats, wrecked their car, and by the end of it, formed Scam Squad: herself, Lenny Large, Gary Guppers, Stuart Knightwolf (Popsocket), and Leonerd Wallard.
They eventually began to bring aboard more members and had big aspirations of stopping scams, owning a house, and growing big. Those dreams were halted as a situation arose in which members of Scam Squad caused a conflict between themselves and The Company after having stolen from the Lumber Union. Ari was torn between her life and an intern and being a part of Scam Squad. She attempted to relay information to help save her beloved friends but instead, it managed to cast doubts upon her trustworthiness to Scam Squad and let to her inevitable exclusion. The Company still sought to try to resolve the conflict amicably, but Scam Squad did not relent and ignored all of Ari’s messages forcing her to treasure the precious memories she made with her friends but to forge her own path alone.
The Company[]
After working her shift one day at Snr. Buns, she saw a twat advert for an Internship. Initially she found it to be a little weird and mysterious but out of sheer boredom of her Scam Squad peers not being around, she opted to see what this event could be all about. Little did she know, she found herself amongst black suits and determined people.
Without fully grasping the seriousness of the intern program, she found herself partaking in a scavenger hunt in the sewers which began as a fun bonding experience with the other intern- but quickly devolved into them running for their lives as they were being chased by a rat she prescribed as ‘Master Splinter’ and an alien. Having safely escaped, there were stragglers left unconscious in the sewers. Benji Ramos thusly went back down to retrieve the remaining few but was trapped by the manhole and Mr. Kebun refused to let him up. Benji shouted for someone to take him hostage, he then proceeded to pull out the crowbar out of his backpack but Ari’s only knowledge of these crowbars was that on Jean Paul telling her that it was a bonker. She then proceeded to stab Mr. Kebun to defend the interns and Benji. This solidified the rabbit hole her life was going to be with the intern program.
Lethal 5[]
Initially Lethal 6, Father Nathan, Ari and Louie Frye formed such a group mainly to build chemistry, friendships, and to just have fun for intern events. They also invited Rohan Cockle, Michael Booblay and Cau Mau.
Café[]
Swan DeLeur had picked up Ari after an emotional day and drove her around to hear her thoughts. Swan conveyed her doubts about The Company’s intentions and how they aligned with her own without having to directly state it. Ari caught on to her doubts and began to question her own motivations. Ari inevitably just wanted a place to call her home, whether it be with The Company or somewhere else. She reflected on Swan’s words for the next couple of days while she worked and decided that regardless of what happens with The Company, she still wanted to try and have something of her own. Chats with Camila Sulan and Ginger Ale about wanting a coffee place jogged the idea of a café to her mind.
Ari began drafting concepts and ideas on her own and by pure chance, she called Kevin Ram to work Gruppe 6 with her. She told him of her plan, and he fully supported her idea and wanted to work with her to make this vision come true. She brought the idea to Ginger Ale in which she was surprised that Ari did was not jumping towards working security for The Company and brought this project up; she fully supports the idea but worried about her needing to maintain a clean record. She has since conferred with Louie Frye, Father Nathan, and Link Winters about her idea, and they have all agreed to come onboard for the project.
