The History of Alice Liddell[]
Before Alice's arrival to Los Santos, back home she never felt like she fit in with her family, friends or other peers. She always dreamed of travelling far far away to a wonderland. She bounced between the few jobs available in her small coastal town, through losing interest in the work, or getting fired for silly mistakes and misunderstandings.
Alice's favourite thing to do was hanging out with tourists to learn more about what life was like out in the big wide world. She eventually befriended Jerry, a business coach, and she became fascinated with the idea of making something of herself through investing and small business. Alice was a sheltered girl with a sense of passion and eagerness, Jerry used this to manipulate Alice into accessing her parents retirement fund, withdrawing the whole $500,000 and using it to pay him. However, once Jerry got his hands on the money, he vanished into thin air and was never heard or seen again. Facing extreme and severe disappointment from her family, Alice decided to buy the cheapest plane ticket that she could buy and have it take her far far away.
The plane ticket ended up being to the destination of Los Santos, which was ideal for Alice as she knew she could never make the money back in New Zealand. Los Santos was perfect as to Alice it was a wonderland of new possibilities. She would be able to make back the money more easily and it would also be the perfect place to follow her dreams.
Eventually she was able to earn enough to pay her parents back, and she brought the $500,000 to New Zealand in a suitcase. This large amount of money was seized by Customs and she was tangled in legal dramas for years, during which Los Santos's economy collapsed. After 5 years away, she was able to return to the city and help rebuild the EMS department as part of the skeleton crew.
