Albin is a young adult from Albania, a small, undeveloped country in Europe. His early childhood was really good, because his parents always cared about him and his three younger siblings. They had enough to eat, nice clothing and even got to buy toys for special occasions like birthdays, which is not really common in Albania. He lived in Shkodra, in the northwestern region of the country.
What Albin didn’t know though, is that his father was involved in the crime scene there. Four families of the Albanian Mafia reside in the city Albin comes from. So, it’s only natural that his father was involved with them. He worked for the Rusi Group, but was only a small fry compared to the big guys there. In a drug deal where his father had to accompany and protect the head of the „family“ as a „soldier“ (the lowest rank in the hierarchy of Albanian „families“) the situation escalated and there were multiple casualties. One of them was his father. Albin got to know what his father does when he was just 11 years old while overhearing a argument between him and his mother on a late evening in the kitchen. From that point on he hated the idea that his father works for the mafia and tried to talk him out of it. He was scared every time his father had to leave for work. But once you’re involved with them, you don’t really get to quit.
Albin witnessed the death of his father when he was 17, seeing his dead body covered in blood in a photograph that captured the crime scene. From that point on he hated ruthless criminals that didn’t care about the value of life. Since Albin was stressed out because of the dangerous life his father was living, he wasn’t able to focus on other things such as school or having a regular social life with friends. That lead to him also not being able to get a good degree. He was always thinking about the possibility that his father might die soon and spent his time home researching as much as he could about the Albanian crime scene, so that he could find a way for his father to quit.
After his father’s death, Albin tried to apply for university and all kinds of jobs but he didn’t get accepted anywhere because of the bad degree and the corrupt system there. Seeing all other possibilities fade away, he saw no other way than getting involved in the crime scene himself. He swore that he will never kill anyone though. As he was already researching a lot about the Albanian Mafia while growing up, he had a really good idea on who to get involved with, so there’s the least possible risk. With time going by he started to go up the ranks. He operated in the shadows as he specialized in getting information about rival families and espionage. He first moved to Tirana, the capital of Albania, where the really big fishes operated. After getting to be a trusted member of the head of the biggest family he got the order to go to Los Santos and start a branch of their „business“ in the US.
