Backstory[]
Addison Yates grew up in San Francisco's Noe Valley with her two moms, Willow and Olivia. They are both dedicated defense attorneys who often worked pro-bono. Addison spent a lot of time throughout her childhood helping them with community outreach and seeing how they helped bring justice to as many people as they could.
After attending college in Liberty City and studying criminal justice, Addison would eventually decide to become a police officer. This ended up causing a bit of a rift to form between her parents and Addison as they often struggled against police in their own line of work. Despite this, Addison joined the LCPD and served for several years until a traumatic shooting incident left her hospitalized.
Returning to San Francisco to recover Addison's parents were overjoyed she finally left police work. However, much to their chagrin, Addison would eventually move to Los Santos to restart her career as an officer believing that is where she can do the most good.
