I am waiting to hear if all streamers have been told to comply as well. The dev team still hasn’t clarified their December 15 lore tweet.
Squeex has created a character known as “Vivek Ramasquamy”, modeled after a certain GOP presidential candidate, and ExtraEmily’s character is now “Ellie Yen”, with the conceit that she is an alien attempting to take over the world by passing herself off as a Snr. Buns worker and go-go dancer. Caroline Kwan now plays an old friend of James Marco’s and rival of Anna Wintour’s named “Fa Shun”.
The mayoral race has begun, with Party Hardy, Yung Dab and Vivek running. Donie, Spencer, and Max have variously contacted Riley Carter to gain access to the Sewer King. Max also briefly went on a mission to poison Los Santos’ water supply, which ended in failure.

Considering that NoPixel 4.0 has been released, there has been an influx of returning streamers who have participated. Regarding the ones of which I am aware:
Fanfan has created a new Chinese-Nebraskan character named Fan Fan, modeled on herself
ExtraEmily will be joining the server as someone modeled on herself
HasanAbi has taken to playing Donie O’Sullivan again
MOONMOON has returned to the role of Maximilian Thoroughbred
Kiwo, CharlieBlossom, Raine, LordKebun, Omie, Vader, NikkisARiot, Jack, Carmen, Chatterbox, Blaustoise, Ming, 4HEAD, MsTeamKK, DisbeArex, xQc, Pengwin, Carter, and SaturnEighteen continue to play their characters of Jane Erik, Windsong, Penelope Farthing, Mr. Kebun, Marty Banks, Xavier, Jenny Hall, Jack Cortair, Doctor Carmella Valentino, Chatterbox, Mickey Sinclaire, Ming Jingtai, 4Head, Sunny Brooks, Oki Doki, Jean Paul, Ken-sama, Spencer Smith, and Rowan Madden and Juno Sweeney, with some upgrades to lore. The latter is also playing a new cop character.
Will Neff has returned this evening (December 17, 19:00 PST), as James Marco St. Marco. His SO Caroline Kwan may join the server in mid-January. Their associate Nick Polom will retire the role of Buddy Black and create a new role, tentatively called “Jason Polam”, later this week while in Norway.
As for any new lore, according to Yung Dab, it appears there was a huge government overthrow that closed out the 3.0 era, and the 4.0 era takes place in 2028, five years into the new anarchist system, allowing him to return from prison. There don’t appear to have been any gang or organization shifts. Finally, Fanfan, Hasan and Moonmoon have not definitively committed to playing their other characters, and Moonmoon has sworn off playing Lenny Hawk.
Please undertake all actions to update the wiki accordingly.
